I Have Seven Dragon Souls In a cultivation world

226 Chapter 226: An Executioner's shock!

A few minutes ago, after Dante had just entered the blood pool.

The crowd was left stunned.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

One second ago they were at death's door, ready to be slaughtered and added to the blood pool and in the next Second, a ferocious individual had crashed from the sky and burnt all their executioners to ash!

It had all happened so quickly that these poor individuals had difficulty accepting it. Most even thought that it was some delusion they were having in their final moments before they were claimed by death.

It was only after touching the ashes of their executioners that they realised everything was real.

Instantly, shouts of joy erupted from this group of prisoners.

It was over!

The days, weeks, and for some, even months of torture had finally ended.

But the celebration didn't last for long as within just a few seconds, these people saw something that they would remember for the rest of their lives.

Their saviour, the saviour that crashed down from the sky, put down a beautiful lady and without even taking off his cloths, waded into the pool of blood, even going so deep that his entire head was completely submerged.

And even though this was surprising, what truly shocked them was the next sight.

As soon as the man was sun emerged, the blood pool started to bubble at first just lightly, but with every passing second it got worse until it was bubbling ferociously like a pot over a blazing fire.

All of sudden this bubbling blood started to swirl around the mana submerged location, becoming wilder and wilder until a giant whirlpool was formed, with the man absorbing all the blood in the centre.

The people watched in horror as the blood of their fellow slaves was all slowly but surely absorbed into the body of the young man.

In that moment, with the storm of blood surrounding him, the boy no longer looked like a saviour but instead was more like a terrifying demon that crawled out of hell.

The people watched in horror as the level of the blood pool began to rapidly reduce  until the man had absorbed the very last drop!

What they saw now was an eerily handsome man with pale white hair standing expressionlessly in a deep crater. His clothes didn't even have any blood stains as all the blood in them had been absorbed!

Strange thing was even after several minutes the man just remained there completely still , almost as if he was in a trance.

The people watching didn't dare go and confront the man, so they just remained in this strange state of watching and waiting for the next change to occur.

It was as they were left stood waiting that a tall man cloaked in black robes walked in.

An Executioner.

The executioner looked around at the scene and was left stunned.

He'd only left to pass on a message and by the time he came back, all of his fellow executioners had gone and even the giant blood pool they had worked so hard to accumulate had disappeared.

The executioner's cold eyes scanned across the cave as tried to figure out what happened.

Eventually he locked onto the strange young man standing where the giant blood pool used to be

The guard's ferocious gaze turned to a chained slave as he asked,

"What happened here?"

The poor slave shook ass he stutters

"Th-the young man crashed down from the sky and with the corpse master. Before we could even realise what happened, the young man killed the corpse master, along with all nearby executioners. After that, he entered the blood pool and has remained there unmoving ever since."

The guard quickly digested the information he was presented

'This young man is not simple, but neither is the blood pool. From the corpse master's words, there should be some protective measures placed in the blood pool and now that this young man wasn't moving….'

The executioner knew he had to act soon.

From the descriptions of the slaves, the young man's strength was simply beyond imagination.

If he allowed the boy to wake, there would be no chance that he could survive.

He had to kill him while he had the advantage.

He had to kill him now!

The executioner wasted no more time debating his next move and sprung into action.

All the nearby slaves were intimidated by his murderous gaze and just shook as the man drawers closer and closer to their strange saviour, all but one.

Hans

Hans couldn't even begin to describe the tortures he'd been through at the bandit camps.

Despite his young age he had seen everyone he cared about slaughtered and sacrificed before his very eyes.

His aunts, his uncles, the village chief, and even his parents.

His whole world had come crashing down as the people he cared about were cruelly butchered like animals.

At this point, Hans had given up.

He was content to resign himself to death and hopefully join up with the rest of his family.

But before that could happen, a man appeared down from the sky and freed them in a devastating display of might and fire.

But now this saviour was incapacitated and about to be attacked, and to make matters worse, it was by the very same butchers that had killed everyone he loved!

Hans couldn't just stand by.

He would be damned if he let another executioner kill someone in front of his eyes again!

Without even thinking, Hans' frail body began to sway as he rapidly approached the executioner.

The executioner in question didn't care much for the surrounding slaves and had already approached Dante.

To his delight, the young man still seemed to have no reaction to his gradual approach.

He just stood there with his eyes closed, seemingly lost off into another land.

But even with the strange state that Dante was experiencing, the executioner didn't relax.
