I Have Seven Dragon Souls In a cultivation world

225 Chapter 225: This Dracolich....

"Roar"

A devastating roar shook the space as the humongous red dragon dive bombed straight towards the Dracolich.

As Dante saw this sight, he just shook his head and sighed

Slowly floating off his chair, Dante appeared in front of the Dracolich and slowly raised his right hand towards the Red Dragon.

Instantly, the Red Dragon began to panic as its figure started shrinking at an unbelievable rate.

By the time the Red Dragon appeared in front of Dante, it was barely even the size of a puppy.

Stretching his hand out, Dante grabbed it by the neck and stared at it with a pair of stern eyes.

As soon as the Red Dragon Soul saw Dante's eyes, it began to shiver.

Seeing this sight, Dante just smirked.

The dragon souls were a part of him as much as they were separate entities. No matter how much they wanted to rebel or disagree with Dante's control, due to the power of the system, the Dragon souls were unable to resist him.

But this overbearing control didn't mean that dragon souls were mindless entities either.

Each soul was a part of Dante, yet somehow strangely completely separate.

They relied on Dante for their own existence, yet could have mental functions and make decisions completely on their own.

As all this struggle with the Red Dragon happening, the silver dragon soul had been quietly watching in the air.

The moment he saw the pitiful fate of the Red Dragon soul, the hate in its eyes quickly diminished,  and instead of helping its red compatriot, it just landed a few metres away from Dante, closed its eyes and began to sleep.

Despite having just as strong a hate for the Dracolich as the Red Dragon, the silver dragon just decided to give up on trying anything for the time being .

The silver dragon was much smarter than its red counterpart and seeing as the Dante wouldn't back down on protecting the Dracolich, it realised nothing other trouble could be gained for trying anything. They were still his dragon souls at the end of the day

A dragon soul fighting against Dante would be like a helpless tenant fighting against a tyrannical landlord. At the end of the day, all that would be gained was just problems for themselves.

Besides, the silver dragon soul was too prideful to allow itself to be bullied like the red dragon!

In the end, it just decided to pretend as if nothing thing had happened and preserve what little dignity it still had left.

Dante saw right through the silver dragon's behaviour and just sneered.

As Dante was watching his dragon, he suddenly felt a small presence approaching

Looking towards his left, he saw a small miniature version of the Dracolich, no bigger than a puppy, gradually approaching itself.

To Dante's surprise, the cold, murderous Dracolich not only approached him but even began to rub itself against Dante, rolling in the air trying its best to gain Dante's attention.

If Dante didn't know any better, he would have thought the being in front of him was a dog, not a mighty Dracolich!

As the Dracolich saw the strange eyes Dante was giving it a pang of shame erupted in its heart but it was quickly suppressed.

The Dracolich's green fiery eyes scanned its fellow draconic brethren and all sorts of curses raged in its heart.

As a member of the true dragon species, the Dracolich had also received its Draconic inheritance of memories and in doing so gained a clear understanding of a Dracolich's creation and the hate other dragons would have for it.

He knew that if it was left alone to those other two dragons, it would never have a good end.

Even if the two may not kill it, the levels of torture and bullying it would receive would be not worth enduring.

In the end, the Dracolich came to a desperate conclusion.

If you can't beat them, then just befriend someone they wouldn't dare to offend!

So the Dracolich forsook its draconic pride and started fawning over Dante like a good little pet.

Sure it was shameful, a very insult to its Draconic nature, but at the end of the day the Dracolich didn't want to live everyday being bullied

It firmly believed that a few moments of humiliation were better than a lifetime of torment!

Dante watched this strange dragon soul with a pair of awkward eyes.

Truth be told, Dante felt a sense of dread and displeasure just by looking at it.

It couldn't be helped.

The Dracolich was a supreme level undead, its mere existence would be unpleasant to any surrounding life.

But at the end of the day, Dante knew that his Dracolich wasn't the same as others.

Though other Dracolichs may be created through twisted unspeakable means, Dante's Dracolich was brought into existence through the help of the system, so in a way, it was truly innocent.

A pitiful victim of circumstances.

Dante just sighed as he stretched out his hand to stroke the miniature bone Dragon

As Dante's hand caressed the Dracolichs body, he was overwhelmed by a chilly sensation as the green dead flames rubbed against his skin.

The Dracolich seemed to curl up as Dante could even swear that its eye flames curled up in pleasure.

"Meow!"

The instant Dante heard this, his face turned dark.

His mouth twitched as he looked at the Dracolich in front of him.

He knew the Dracolich was desperate to survive but this….

Meowing like a cat! As a dragon, are you not even slightly embarrassed!

Eventually the Dracolich couldn't last under Dante's as ashamed face and quickly turned its head in embarrassment!

Even the Red and Silver Dragon were left stunned at what they witnessed.

This Dracolich…. It truly had a strong desire to survive.

Dante just awkwardly scratched his head as he assessed the current situation.

It seemed like he needed to lay some ground rules for his dragons...
