Unmotivated Hero's Tale

"Coming in."

"What, is that you..."

Without hesitation, the Duke of Yalm sighed in disgust when he saw the face of the man entering Zukezuke and his own office.

"You don't know what, what. I'd like to entertain my guests for a little while.

"I would if I wanted to. Why should I care about an unattended military opponent who walks into a room with Zukazuka without a knock?

Yalm glances at Rheinberg with chills and drops his gaze on the paperwork at hand as if he has lost interest.

"Hey, I apologize for the sudden visit, but I would have knocked. They must have buried it in the paperwork world anyway."

"Hmm. I'm so busy listening to military bullshit. I'm gonna ask you about the requirements, so talk to me briefly."

Yalm, unwilling to have a futile conversation, tells Rheinberg so concisely with a tired look on his face.

"You know the requirements, don't you? Naturally, the other day."

"Lemuriak."

"Oh."

In response to Yalm's terminal response, Reinberg nods once to show affirmation.

"So what did you come here to say to me?

"As for childhood, I'm interested in what you think of this House of Lords interference."

That statement by Reinberg referred to the fact that the face of the House of Lords, beginning with Blau, had made an internal affairs commitment to Yui without receiving the Interior Ministry's consent.

Originally, Clarice's power to make policy decisions on internal affairs is a matter for the Ministry of the Interior. Nevertheless, the man in the Ministry of the Interior had shown little rebellion in the fact that the House of Lords, which had no real right whatsoever, had made unsolicited promises with Yui.

And so is Yalm, the head of the Ministry of the Interior. So when I heard Reinberg say that, I raised my gaze from the paperwork in front of me without hiding my grumpy face.

"I wish I could honestly say I was worried about Istartz, but a lot more"

"... you know what I mean"

"Naturally, I'm thinking how many years we've been dating"

In contrast to Rheinberg, who laughs bitterly when he says it's a star, Yalm gives a frightened look to his mouth.

"So, what the hell are you gonna do?

"Whatever you do, Elise has spoken in the direction you acknowledge before everyone... and I can't let the queen who just took office withdraw her statement. This time I will swallow almost the entire discretion of Blau and the House of Lords. Of course, some things need to be adjusted with the Isterz guy."

Yalm answers that abominably when he comes up with a bitter worm-bitten look.

"But that would amount to the House of Lords intervening in the prime minister's authority. Isn't that a bad precedent?

"I don't care... and it'll probably be a good moxibustion for him"

"Moxibustion?

Hearing the unheard word, Reinberg asks back to Yalm with an astonishing look on his face.

"You don't even know that? It's a form of Oriental treatment. So I'm really tired of talking to a guy who gets contaminated with his muscles up to the brain miso...... anyway, if this plan is the one he said on his own, I'm about to jump him with all my strength. But this is what Isterz said. There's probably something behind it."

"Wow... you're pretty good at buying Yui too"

"Not as good as you. Anyway, I don't want the House of Lords trying to get their hands on the Ministry of the Interior's jurisdiction to get the reward for it."

With that mouth, Yalm fishes up the end of his mouth with a nibble. Reinberg, who saw the trick, accidentally laughed out loud.

"Ha, you're not quite the personality either"

"Well, only this time, I'm going to push Istarts' back. No, look at him now."

Lord Blau's disgusting face floated behind his brain, and Yalm poisoned so from the bottom of his heart without hiding what he hated furiously.

"That's the prime minister to fight for. I thought I was going to think of something because I made a big deal out of it the other day."

"Hmm. It was going to be interesting the other day, so I just kept an eye on it without pinching my mouth. But I'm angry just to think of him. What do the House of Lords think the Home Office is, at all?"

"We're the same about that. I don't know where their interference with the Ministry of Military Affairs will fit either. Unfortunately, they're holding the Under-Secretary's post, so they like their HR rights."

Rheinberg releases a harsh word at him when he reveals frustration that military reform will not proceed as he thinks.

"That's because you're pathetic. Our Ministry of the Interior still maintains its independence."

"Well, you let the House of Lords decide your own policy."

Reinberg said so slightly sarcastically, either because he was poked where he was in pain.

"That was Elise's decision, apparently. Damn, that doesn't change my habit of trying to take people's frying feet. He's the one who never grows up."

"Hmm, we're already just jizzy with each other. I can't grow any more."

"I'll be clear at this point because you're the other person, but if you're going to judge me as head of the Interior Department, Istarz's suggestion at that time is not very drinkable. Well, what I noticed on that occasion seemed like a handful."

Yalm, recalling the reaction of the venue the other day, looks directly into Rheinberg's eyes and says so with a serious look. Then Rheinberg can't hide his doubts and wrinkles unexpectedly on his forehead.

"... what do you mean?

"Still didn't even the brain muscle notice... if I swallowed his suggestion and added some more conditions, that promise would be foolish. Normally, it's more or less impossible to set the preconditions. But that man thinks it can happen in case. If I succeed, it's a gift from me for his contribution to the nation."

"It only seemed to me as if he had just spoken of a suggestion for a steeplechase..."

Reinberg unwittingly twists his neck to recall Yui's remarks, which referred to an increase in the burden ten years later, in order to hope for tax relief.

"Well, that's good for brain muscle. There's only one thing you can do, you just have to do it. Leave this field to me. Well, if you carry what Isterz thinks, you'll see Blau's regrettable face."

"Hmm, then let me look forward to that. No, I could hear more meaningful stories than I expected. So it's time for me to excuse myself"

When Rheinberg says so, he slowly rises from the chair he was sitting on.

"What, are you suddenly coming and suddenly leaving? I'll give you some tea and sweets, so take your time."

"I'm sorry. We're supposed to have a meeting with Yui after this. I just stopped by your place before that."

"Am I one of them?" Well, then leave the nail to the Istarts guy from you. The other day, though it was the flow of the venue, I don't think it's going to happen again. I'll admit it this time, but it's nothing special for the state. "

"Okay, let me tell you something"

When Yalm's advice was heeded, Reinberg nodded loudly once. Yalm, who had seen the motion, opened his mouth with a somewhat remorseful look on his face.

"Uhm...... see you later soldier. Don't hesitate, come and see me some more. I'll serve you some tea from the beginning."

"Oh, let's remember. Bye."

When he says goodbye, Rheinberg walks straight to the entrance door. And without looking back, he left the room.

Yalm, watching that vanishing hindsight with a lonely look on his face, whines to himself without letting anyone hear him as he drifts his gaze into the universe.

"Hmm... haven't even that Rheinberg completely noticed? I don't know how many people read Isterz's exact intentions on that occasion... but this is also the seed Blau sowed himself. You can bark later at best."
