Tou no Madoushi

Episode 69 Lynn, Removing the Beard

Lynn had been summoned by Lorea to her office.

"To Lynn.

I need to talk to you alone again.

Please come to the office.

I'll be waiting for you with delicious tea and sweets.

Lorea. "

(I wonder what. I can't believe I called you like this)

Lynn has weird expectations from the vague and far-fetched expression of the letter.

(Whatever it is, a gentleman shouldn't refuse an invitation from a woman, should he?)

Even today he went out to downtown Alfrid with a silk hat on his swallow tail suit, and a little mustache, which I don't doubt would suit him best.

Lorea waited at the entrance when Lynn arrived in front of the office.

She comes with a bright smile sometime.

"Lynn, I've been waiting for you. You must be tired of walking all the way here. Come on, get inside."

Lynn couldn't help but dismiss her face.

"Yes."

But when I went into the reception room at the office and sat on the couch, what I waited for was not tea and sweets, but a siege by her men, the strong old men.

(Oh, that? You two should be alone...)

When Lynn looked at her with confusion, the earlier flamboyant appearance completely disappeared from her face and looked like she had changed her blood phase.

"Hey Lynn. What does this mean?"

Lorea has shown me a few paperwork.

A number of suspended deliveries from major counterparties.

And it was a notice from the college.

"To Lord Lorea.

Your Majesty has lived for years.

I have no doubt that my enthusiasm for schooling is waning.

It is also difficult to overlook the various activities that disrupt the wind discipline.

Therefore, the College hereby disposes of your expulsion.

Dean of the College "

Lynn turned bright white in her head.

"What do you mean, Lynn? You know something about you, don't you? Say something."

"No, even if they say so. I don't know what the major chambers of commerce and college directors intend..."

"They're all going to trade through Theo in the future. Looks like Illyweer is chewing on one of them when I put the probe in while I file an objection with the Dean of the College. When it comes to Ilyweer, she's adorable about you, isn't she royal? I won't let you tell me you don't know. You were so proud of your connections with Ilywia."

(Oh, that? It's not supposed to be next week that Mr. Illyweer moves. Besides, Theo said we could move forward with the settlement. I mean, what? Dean of the College? I'm supposed to have only asked Mr. Illyweer to put pressure on the major chambers of commerce. Did you even send a letter to the Dean of the College)

"Then I, the ruler of Alfrid, will no longer enter the city. Are you telling me to work at Renlil's factory?

……

"Hey. What do you mean, Lynn? Weren't you on my side? Did you put me up to this? Hey, Lynn."

"Um, did you say anything or anything to Mr. Lorea from Theo?

"It's your job to keep in touch with Theo, isn't it?

"Oh well. That's right."

(This could be a big mistake for me...)

After coming here, Lynn finally realized she was making a big mistake.

Lynn hurries in her head and tries to sort out the situation.

(Hmm. I mean, isn't this what this is all about? Theo had no intention of reconciling with Mr. Lorea in the first place. All you said to me was to buy her time to get her off guard. [M] So what happens to my position now)

Lynn tried to spin her imagination about what she looked like from Lorea.

From Theo's point of view, the pawn to make her think that there is no hostility here until she completes the siege net against Lorea, and to buy time.

From Lorea's point of view, on the other hand, it would mean a person who didn't intend to reconcile, but who circulated false information about reconciling and stirred up her faction.

I mean...

(I mean, I'm a spy.)

And apparently, the mission has been accomplished.

(It only takes to get away. What...)

I got caught riding Lorea's invitation.

(Theo's a bad person, too. Then I wish you would explain that from the beginning. You don't have my place in this. Mr. Ilywee is also Mr. Ilywee. I don't have to imitate anything like this. Then you don't have any excuses. I'd do something cruel, not according to what I see)

"Hey Lynn. What do you mean? That's a different story. You're on my side, aren't you? You're going to try to make me feel comfortable with Theo and Ilywia. You wouldn't abandon me or betray me, would you? What do you think? Hey, Lynn!

"Hmm."

Lynn wrapped her fingers around her hands, stared at it, and did the sort of trick she was thinking about.

Lorea and the others take a hard spit and watch how it goes.

Awkward silence flowed indoors for a while. Only the sound of a clock cocktail rings in the quiet room.

"Oh, yeah."

Suddenly, Lynn stood up and voiced as if she had come up with something.

Lorea and the others get up.

"I have a tea party coming up today. No, you shouldn't, you shouldn't. I almost forgot."

Lynn put her mustache on the table when she peeled it off.

"That's why. Excuse me, but I think it's time for some time around here."

"Huh? Wait, wait, wait."

Lorea grabs Lynn's arm trying to walk away and tries to hold it down.

"Let go of me!

Lynn looks back in cold words.

Lorea looked at Lynn's blameworthy eyes and was hazy.

I feel like I've hurt the boy I want, I feel like I've done something I shouldn't have done, and I stick around and flinch.

"I truly wanted to reconcile myself with Lorea. But like I said before, I can't leave Theo. Guess what. Bye."

Lynn swung the power of Lorea's hand away into a loose gap for a moment and shitty and walked away.

The indoors are wrapped up in awkward silence again.

When she stopped hearing Lynn's footsteps, Lorea finally exploded her anger.

"Phew, phew"

She waves her wand down the table wondering if she had leaked a self-derisive laugh.

Her wand was slapped against the attached beard that Lynn had left earlier.

The table made a loud noise and broke into two pieces.

The beard blew to pieces of wood dust and disappeared without a trace.

"What the hell is that guy? Huh. Theo's just a bad character, though. Lynn, isn't he just a scumbag?"

She went down to the cellar and began to cast a spell that would lift Cerberus by shaking off the stops of her men.

"Enough with Theo. Kill Lynn. Kill that two-tongued bastard."

Released from the cage, Cerberus rushes up the stairs in momentum, blowing up the office door and popping out.

"I thought he was pathetic and I pitied him, but he said he was a betrayer. He made my feelings go away. I will never forgive you."
