The Legend of Harry Potter Schoolmaster

Chapter 208 The Story of Petunia Evans (Part 1)

Snape is gone!

Looking at Snape's figure disappearing into the darkness, Harry Potter had never been so confused in his fifteen years of life.

Why on earth-

Why did Aunt Petunia know Snape?

What's the relationship between mother Lily and Snape?

Snape hated himself so much, why did he leave in such a hurry without talking about his performance in school?

Stumbling, Harry walked up the stairs to his bedroom.

Sitting down, propping his head on his hands, Harry fell into deep thought.

A clicking sound interrupted Harry's thoughts——

It was Hedwig, squatting in her cage, glaring at Harry with her huge amber eyes, beating the cage with her paws at the same time...

Should I write a letter...Harry suddenly had an idea!

But to whom?

To Ron or Hermione? Tell them that Professor Snape and his mother had an indescribable past?

That's ridiculous!

Or to Godfather Sirius Black? But given the extremely bad relationship between Sirius and Snape, what would he say?

Harry felt extremely confused right now.

Even for a moment, he completely forgot about the resurrection of Voldemort and the fear brought to him by witnessing the death of Jon Hart...

...

There was a sound of ping-pong-pong from downstairs.

Through the window, Harry watched Uncle Vernon Dursley carry Dudley into the back seat of the car with all his strength.

"I still have to take Dudley to the hospital!" Harry vaguely heard Uncle Vernon's voice: "I don't believe in that damned man's stuff!"

Then he started the car and poked his head out of the cab:

"Petunia, won't you go with me?"

Aunt Petunia looked a little absent-minded, and after a while she said: "I have to stay and tidy up the living room..."

Uncle Vernon was about to say something, and then Mrs. Figg, the neighbor, suddenly opened the window and poked her head out.

"Dudley has a cold, I have to take him to the hospital..." Uncle Vernon quickly apologized with a smile.

A polite smile appeared on Mrs. Figg's face.

As the sound of the car fades away...

Harry took a deep breath, and then he walked out of the room and down the stairs.

He wants to find his aunt and ask these things clearly.

...

Mrs. Petunia Dursley was in the living room watching television.

A terrible sitcom was playing on TV, the show she hated to watch the most... But now her eyes were fixed on the TV, but her eyes were slightly dull.

Hearing footsteps on the stairs, she turned her head.

"Why aren't you sleeping!" Aunt Petunia sternly snapped at Harry.

"I..." Harry stammered, he was silent for a moment, and then mustered up his courage: "Why do you know Snape?"

"I don't know him..." Aunt Petunia said coldly.

"You don't know him, why do you know his Christian name?" Harry asked without hesitation.

Mrs. Petunia Dursley's face lacked the lean and stern arrogance she usually had, and instead turned very pale.

After a short period of calm, she slowly opened her mouth and said:

"We were living in Cokeworth, a very dirty little town...it was on the edge of a dirty river with rubbish strewn around the bank, and there was an abandoned mill with a tall chimney... ..."

After a pause, Penny added: "Me, our parents, and Lily..."

It was almost the first time Harry heard his mother's name from his aunt's lips. Aunt Petunia had an outburst a few years ago and screamed that Harry's mother was a monster; otherwise, Harry had never heard her mention his sister.

"There is a very remote alley in Cokeworth called Spider's End... The adults say that there are monsters infesting there, and we are not allowed to go near it!"

"Except for Lily, when she was ten years old, she ran there every day. She was disobedient since she was a child, but her parents thought she was cute like this... Once I followed her and saw her playing with a strange boy... ..."

"Snape?" Harry felt his voice become extremely strange.

"Yes!" Mrs. Petunia Dursley nodded: "He and Lily have a good relationship, but I have a bad relationship with him...When we are together, we quarrel every day...I call him a monster, and he said I was a Muggle..."

"Good relationship?" Harry asked tremblingly.

"Very good..." Aunt Petunia said slowly, "They stayed together almost every day, almost every summer vacation before she turned eleven and after she turned eleven..."

"Then what happened next?"

"Then they went to Ho... Hogwarts, your school!" Aunt Petunia said coldly, "My innocent sister even wrote to the school, asking me to go with her... A decent person will not go to the school that only accepts monsters like her!"

"Then my mother and Snape, how did they..." Harry stammered.

"I don't know!" screamed Aunt Petunia, "I couldn't believe my eyes when Lily brought that Potter to my parents, your dad who looked exactly like you... They actually... my parents were fascinated by that Potter, they were very happy with him..."

"I went to Spider's End for the first time, looking for Severus, but he..." Aunt Petunia covered her mouth suddenly, her face flushed red, and she seemed to be panicking to the extreme.

"What happened to Snape?" Harry asked gruffly.

"You should go to bed!" Aunt Petunia's expression quickly returned to normal.

"I want to know what's behind..." Harry argued

"Stop asking questions." Aunt Petunia snapped. "I'll tell you to go to bed!"

"What's the matter?"

"Did you hear me, go to bed!"

...

Harry Potter lay on the bed in the hut, but he didn't feel any sleepiness in his body.

Aunt Petunia has no reason to deceive herself, and with her character, it is impossible to make up so many things about the wizarding world.

He focused on what she said before, but the more he thought about it, the sadder he became.

As if they were gnawing at his heart, he had always believed that his parents were wonderful people; didn't people like Hagrid and Sirius and Lupine tell Harry how good his parents were...

He had never believed the slander, the slander and the insults Snape threw out...

But why hadn't anyone told him these things before... about the relationship between his parents and Snape?
