The Legend of Harry Potter Schoolmaster

Chapter 203 The Confused Dumbledore (Part 1)

In the East End of London, in a small, unremarkable hotel, in a room facing the sun.

A boy was lying on the bed, while facing a dictionary and carefully looking at a letter in his hand.

The boy looked about fourteen or fifteen years old, with short dark brown hair and a pair of gray eyes; at the same time, the expression on his face showed a maturity that did not belong to his age.

The layout of the entire hut looks a little weird:

On the table next to the bed, there were many bottles and jars on one side, as well as a crucible that was slightly emitting black smoke; on the other side, there were several thick books with two small wooden sticks on them— —

One is black and gray, and the other is green; like two chopsticks.

Not far from the small green stick, an iron ring was thrown there; next to the ring was a silver gadget with a regular octahedron.

On the opened envelope, there is a coat of arms with a capital letter H inside, surrounded by paintings of a snake, a badger, an eagle and a lion, such four animal heads; at the same time, there is written The boy's name:

Christopher Patrick.

...

For Jon Hart, this is not the first time he has received a letter from Hogwarts.

But since the letter is written in German, it's the first thing in life...

The caring Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, considering that this "exchange student" is from Austria, specially wrote a letter in German, informing him of the precautions for going to school and the things he needs to bring...

Poor Jon had to buy a German dictionary from a small bookstore, and while looking it up in the dictionary, he guessed what was in the letter.

After spending most of the day, he finally understood what was written inside:

First of all, Vice-Principal Minerva McGonagall, in her own name, welcomed Mr. Christopher Patrick to study at Hogwarts; and informed him that as a freshman, the items that he needs to bring for the first time, such as Say brass scales, cauldrons, pointed wizard hats, and more.

At the same time, there is a list of textbooks for this semester's textbooks. Compared with last semester, there are only two new books: "Standard Spells, Level 4" by Miranda Gosack, and "The Theory of Magical Defense" by Wilbur T-Slink.

But for Jon, he needs to go to Diagon Alley to buy all the books and other things.

Because the original ones stayed at Hogwarts and became Jon Hart's "relics".

Fortunately, he is now in London, not far from Diagon Alley.

Some regretted wasting so much time on the letter, which contained nothing useful; Jon tossed it, along with the envelope, on the side table.

At the same time, he picked up the "Daily Prophet" that was just delivered by an owl postman.

...

The headline on the front page of the Daily Prophet read: "Mr. Gideon Crumb Announces Marriage at Month's End."

Gideon Crumb is the bagpipe player of the "Weird Sisters", a minor wizard star. This headline article spent more than half of the page analyzing who Gideon Crumb's bride is, and which famous wizards he will invite to his wedding at the end of the month...

Jon patiently read the headline article, but unfortunately he didn't find any useful information.

After complaining about the "Daily Prophet" and starting to reverse the "Sun", Jon opened the second page.

The second edition introduces the state visit to Andorra by Mr Cornelius Fudge, the Minister for Magic, and includes a photo of Fudge with the Andorran Minister for Magic. And the editor pointed out that this incident means that the magical partnership between the UK and Andorra has entered a new milestone.

Skimming past the news with a glance, Jon looked to the third page of the newspaper.

Its title caught Jon in an instant: "Old fool Albus Dumbledore!"

"At noon on July 14th GMT, the International Confederation of Magicians voted to deprive Mr. Albus Dumbledore of his chairmanship; After the position of chief magician, the second important identity that has been lost one after another."

"Participants revealed that Albus Dumbledore is old and unable to handle these positions. Since the end of the Triwizard Tournament more than half a month ago, Dumbledore's words and deeds have indeed appeared to be old; This is most likely because of the sudden death of his favorite student, Jon Hart, in the Triwizard Tournament, which hit him too hard..."

"...Sir Merlin is also considering whether to withdraw Albus Dumbledore's first-class medal... However, it has been severely opposed by many older wizards, and the proposal is still in controversy..."

"It's finally here!" Jon put down the newspaper in his hand.

Obviously, Dumbledore is not foolish, and he will not be hit by his own death.

Then there is only one answer, that is, Dumbledore made a speech announcing that Voldemort was back; after that, the wizards of the Ministry of Magic voted him out of office.

It seems that Cornelius Fudge still has a lot of ability and influence, which is also understandable. After all, he has controlled the British Ministry of Magic for so many years. It would be strange if he couldn't do anything.

In contrast, Dumbledore, an old man over a hundred years old, has been out of the world for many years, and his influence is obviously less than that of Fudge and the Ministry of Magic.

Of course, based on Jon's understanding of Dumbledore, he certainly doesn't care about these superficial honors... For Dumbledore, as long as he doesn't get off the chocolate frog picture, he doesn't care about anything else.

At the same time, it is not ruled out that Dumbledore deliberately showed weakness to Voldemort through Fudge.

Jon turned his attention again to the fourth page of the newspaper.

...

The fourth edition is about Sirius Black, the Ministry of Magic's most wanted man.

The content is as follows: "According to Mr. Kingsley Shaker, the deputy director of the Auror Office, told this newspaper that the cruel and cunning wanted criminal Sirius Black appeared in Tibet and seemed to have reached some kind of agreement with the Tibetan Snowmen. ...Relevant officials from the Department of International Magical Cooperation are trying to contact the Ministry of Magic of China, requesting the help of the Ministry of Magic of China to extradite the wanted criminal..."

Jon couldn't help laughing... Finally, he turned his attention to the fifth edition:

The title of the fifth edition is equally attractive:

"The notorious boy Harry Potter. Is he a narcissist? A paranoid? A murderer?"
