Despite greatly disagreeing with the order, the soldiers still carried out Dante's instructions further, showing the training and indoctrination of the Vaenam kingdom's philosophy.

For the Vaenam Kingdom, real soldiers didn't ask questions, they just follow orders.

Within seconds, the barrels were loaded and hurled into the swarm of undead

Suddenly a flaming arrow could be seen falling from the sky and landing right onto the exploded into a giant ball of fire!

But instead of joy at seeing this sight, the soldiers felt an uncontrollable terror.

As soldiers, they knew the devastating effects of Fire Dragon oil better than anyone else and now this deadly substance would be used against them!

The soldiers could only watch on in despair as the sea of fire kept expanding, about to overwhelm them

'Has… Has the dragon son abandoned us? Has he sacrificed us?'

These were thoughts running through the minds of all the soldiers as they saw the oncoming sea of fire

But just before the soldiers were hit, a deafening roar exploded in the air, breaking them free from their depressing thoughts

"ROAR!"

The devastating roar of a Red Dragon shook the battlefield as a crimson halo spread out, covering everything in Dante's sight.

As soon as the soldiers were coated in this halo, they suddenly felt the heat reduce greatly.

Before, if the flames were like being cooked in an oven, it was now the f more like being placed in a desert.

It was still hot, just not life-threatingly so

This  was the cause of the new developments and, more importantly, the effects that came with it

This ability not only increased the damage of his fire type artillery but also enabled his soldiers to fight in seas of fire, allowing them to capitalise on the increased damage of the artillery and protecting them from preventing friendly fire.

The soldiers were also obviously able to feel these changes .

The power to wade through fire unharmed? What kind of crazy blessing was this!

They had heard about the ridiculous abilities of the Dragon Son, but this was just too hard to  accept!

But not everyone was left stunned by this development.

They were still on the battlefield, distraction could not be tolerated.

In fact, someone even sought to capitalise on this

"See! The Dragon Son has not forgotten us, instead he has blessed us!"

"Glory to the Dragon Son! Glory to the Vaenam Kingdom!"

Yes! This was the truth.

They were not forgotten; they were instead blessed!

With the Dragon Son on their side, how could they lose!

It didn't take long before similar ideas spread through the ranks of soldiers

Eventually the entire army had joined in on the cry

"Glory to the Dragon Son! Glory to the Vaenam Kingdom!"

The morale of the soldiers was unbelievable.

With this belief, the soldiers cut down the opposing undead like madmen.

In their eyes, there was no chance they could lose.

With the magical abilities of the dragon son, Victory wasn't a possibility for these soldiers. It was a fact!

The soldiers were greatly empowered by morale and if you looked carefully, you would find that the first person to speak out and start this movement was no general.

Instead, it was none other than Klent!

On the battlefield away from the away from the sea of fire

The ferocious soldiers were not the only ones empowered by this recent development

This ability was something that also applied to Rebecca and, seeing as she was someone who primarily fought with the fire attribute, the benefits were devastating.

Rebecca's flaming spear crashed down from the sky like heavenly punishment, smashing into the Bone Giant sending it flying into the ground.

And Rebecca didn't stop there.

Seeing the Bone Giant fall, Rebecca didn't stop, but instead pushed on even harder.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Blow after blow rained down upon the Bone Giant, creating a storm as dust and fragments of earth were sent flying into the sky.

Eventually, when the storm settled, all that one could see was a pile of crushed Bones and figure floating metres overhead, holding a gigantic Bone skull as trophy

"This is the fate of all the enemies of the Vaenam Kingdom." Roared Rebecca

"Utter destruction!"

Dante's forces were seemingly unstoppable, destroying anything in their path and after seeing the defeat of their powerful Bone Giant, some of the bandits were even starting to lose faith in their ability to win.

Of course, the corpse master would never allow for this situation to continue

"Hehehe!"

The corpse master's crooked laughter could be heard ringing out across the battlefield

"You people from the Hidden Dragon Academy sure do know how to impress!"

But I hope you didn't think it was over yet!"

Suddenly, the ground near the rear of the formation began to rumble as 3 more gigantic Bone Giants appeared, both radiating Martial adept level aura .

As soon as Rebecca saw this, her expression collapsed .

Although it might not look like it, Rebecca had struggled greatly to defeat that Bone Giant, pushing her mind and body to near its limits.

But even if you ignored this, it wouldn't change the fact that Rebecca was working on a time limit!

The strain that operating the formation was putting on her mind and body was unimaginable. Rebecca, more than anyone, knew that she couldn't carry this on for long.

Fortunately, it wasn't just Rebecca that was aware of these facts. Dante, who had been sat on the sidelines all this time, could clearly see things were heading south.

With such a realisation, it was impossible for him to remain watching.

Suddenly Dante's figure flew by, smashing straight into an attacking Bone Giant sending hurtling across the planes.
