Harry Potter and the Old Ones

Chapter 293 Beauxbatons’ Entrance

"It's almost six o'clock," Ron said, looking at his watch and looking down the driveway to the front door. "How do you think they're going to get here? By train?"

"I think not," said Hermione.

"Then how are they coming? Broomsticks?" Harry looked up. "It's almost six o'clock," Ron looked at his watch and looked at the driveway leading to the front door and said, "How do you think they will come? By train?"

"I think not," said Hermione.

"How come? A broomstick?" Harry guessed, looking up at the starry sky.

"I don't think... from that far away..."

"Portkey?" Ron guessed, "Or they can apparate. Maybe in their place, people under the age of seventeen are also allowed to apparate?"

"Apparition is not allowed in the grounds of Hogwarts. How many times do I have to tell you?" Hermione said impatiently.

"I remember that Beauxbatons should have flown here, and Durmstrang should have swam here," Tiera said.

They excitedly scanned the darkening field, but saw no movement.

Everything was silent, peaceful, and no different than usual.

At this moment, Dumbledore, who was standing in the back row with other teachers, shouted——

"Ah! If I'm not mistaken, the Beauxbatons representative has already arrived!"

"Where?" Many students asked eagerly, looking in different directions.

"There!" shouted a sharp-eyed sixth grader, pointing over the Forbidden Forest.

A huge thing, much bigger than a broomstick - or a hundred broomsticks - was flying rapidly across the dark blue sky towards the castle, getting bigger and bigger.

"It's a dragon!" screamed a first-year student, so excited that he didn't know what to do.

"Don't be silly...it's a house flying!" said Dennis Creevey, Colin Creevey's brother.

Dennis's guess is closer——

As the dark behemoth passed through the treetops of the Forbidden Forest, illuminated by the lights from the castle windows, they saw a huge powder-blue carriage flying toward them.

It was as big as a house, and it was pulled through the air by twelve winged horses, all of them silver-maned horses, each as big as an elephant.

The carriage flew lower and was landing at an extremely fast speed. The students standing in the first three rows hurriedly backed away, and then——

There was an earth-shattering loud noise, which scared Neville to jump back and stepped on the foot of a fifth-year Slytherin classmate——

I saw those horse hooves hitting the ground with a thud, each one as big as a vegetable plate.

In the blink of an eye, the carriage also landed on the ground, vibrating on the huge wheels. At the same time, the golden horses shook their huge heads and their big fiery red eyes turned.

There is a coat of arms printed on the door of the carriage——

It consists of two golden crossed wands, with three stars emerging from each.

The door opened, and a boy in a light blue robe jumped out of the carriage, bent down, groped for something on the floor of the carriage, and then opened a golden spiral staircase.

He jumped back respectfully, and then a shiny black high-heeled shoe stretched out from the carriage——

This shoe is as big as a child's sled——

A woman appeared shortly behind, the size of which no Hogwarts student had ever seen before.

In this way, it is self-evident why the carriage and those silver-maned horses are so big.

Several people gasped in shock.

This woman has reached the bottom of the steps slowly and gracefully now, and is turning around to look at the waiting crowd with wide eyes——

This made her seem even more ridiculously large.

When she walked into the light that spilled from the foyer, everyone found that she had a very handsome olive face, a pair of black and large watery eyes, and a very pointed nose.

Her hair was slicked back and pulled into a shiny bun at the base of her neck.

She was wrapped in a black wrought garment from head to toe, and many gorgeous opals shone around her neck and on her thick fingers.

Dumbledore started to applaud, and his classmates also clapped. Many of them stood on tiptoes, trying to get a better look at this woman.

Her face relaxed into an elegant smile, and she stretched out a gleaming hand and walked towards Dumbledore.

Although Dumbledore was also tall, he barely bent down when he kissed the hand.

"Dear Mrs. Maxim," Dumbledore said happily, "Welcome to Hogwarts."

"Mr. Dumbledore," Mrs. Maxime said in a low voice, "I hope everything is well with you."

"Very well, thank you," said Dumbledore.

"My student." Mrs. Maxim said, waving behind her casually with a huge hand, "I also brought an old friend of yours here this time, I hope you don't mind."

About forty or fifty male and female students had gotten off the carriage and were standing behind Madame Maxime. Judging from their appearance, most of them are between seventeen and nineteen years old, but there are also a few children between twelve and sixteen years old, all of them are trembling slightly——

This was not surprising, as their robes seemed to be made of fine silk, and none of them were wearing cloaks.

Several students had their heads wrapped with scarves or turban certificates. They all stood in the huge shadow cast by Madame Maxime, looking up at Hogwarts with a wary look on their faces.

At the end of the group of students, a slender figure walked out of the carriage——

The figure was wearing a pale white dress, and the body seemed to be made of metal, making a "crunching" friction sound when walking.

The most peculiar thing is that the figure's head is a round crystal ball. In the crystal ball is reflected an old zombie-like face, and a pale white wig is symbolically placed on the crystal ball.

The wig didn't seem to be well fixed on the smooth crystal ball, and the figure had to reach out from time to time to push the wig up to prevent it from falling off.

"Flame!" Dumbledore shouted happily, opening his arms and hugging the skinny figure, "Why didn't you say you were coming?"

"Flame!" Hermione, who was standing next to Tiera, whispered to Tiera, "Is that Nico Flamel?"

"I just made it up on the spur of the moment." Nicoléme said with a creak, "After hugging Dumbledore, I looked into the crowd behind him——"

"Aha!" Nico Flamel exclaimed, and the eyes in the crystal ball glanced behind Dumbledore——

"Tiera!" Nicoléme waved his hand and said, "Long time no see Tiera! I came to see you compare -"

"Ahem!" Dumbledore coughed heavily, then quietly stretched out his foot and kicked Nick Flamel hard——

"Ah——!" The metal body supporting the crystal ball collapsed instantly and turned into metal rods——

The crystal ball instantly fell to the ground, bouncing and rolling to Tiera's feet——

"Grandpa Lemay..." Tiera picked up the crystal ball and asked, "Did you finally die and put your soul in the crystal ball?"

"Oh, no, it's not." Nick Flamel in the crystal ball pushed back, gradually revealing other parts of his body and his experimental table——

"To be honest, I missed you a little after you left." Nicoléme said, "So I made an impromptu decision to come and see you, and take a look at the Triwizard Tournament that happens once in hundreds of years. Really, the last time I saw this game was on my 330th birthday."

"Then can I stay in your alchemy hut for a while in the future?" Tiera asked innocently, "I also miss Master Flamel——"

"Get lost," Nick Flamel said with a fake smile.
