Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 2 Diagon Alley

In a blink of an eye came the eve of school.

The sun shines through the curtains evenly on the bed.

Ulysses opened his eyes, got up lazily under the quilt, went to the window and opened the curtains, letting the sun run through the room.

He likes sunshine.

After living for more than a month, the Lestrange Mansion has been completely renewed. It is no longer the lifeless appearance before, but it is full of vitality.

Ulysses squinted his eyes with satisfaction, feeling the light of the sun jumping on his cheeks, and the good mood of the day began.

After a simple wash and lunch, Ulysses got into the fireplace in the living room.

"Diagon Alley."

He raised a piece of dust, and after yelling in his mouth, the flame in the fireplace suddenly turned green and swallowed him in.

School is about to start, he needs to buy some necessary supplies, and by the way, visit the famous Diagon Alley in the British magic circle.

The next moment, his figure appeared on a noisy street.

There are almost all kinds of strange shops on this street. The dazzling sunlight cast on a stack of pots outside the nearest store. There is a sign hanging above the pot-a large pot made of copper, brass, tin plated, and silver. The models are complete, automatic stirring, and foldable.

Not far away was a pet store, and a low and soft whine came from inside from time to time. In the corner of Ulysses' eyes, a stone statue was blowing colorful bubbles into the sky. The bubbles were blowing in the wind, and the landing point was a not-small shop window with a weird broom in it.

Ulysses walked forward, and robe shops, bookstores, bars, etc. entered his sight. There were also baskets of bat spleens and eel eyeballs in the window, piled with spell books, quill pens, rolls of parchment and strange silverware.

"A good dragon liver! Only fourteen cicels an ounce!"

"Fresh joke toys are out! Go into the store and take a look. If you can't buy it, you can't buy it at a loss. You can't be fooled.

"Today, all the clothes in our store are 20% off!"

Perhaps because of the approaching school, there are many wizards on the cobblestone streets, and the crowds coming and going make this originally wide street seem a bit crowded.

A large flow of people means a lot of business, so there are shouts from time to time in the shops that are crookedly erected on both sides.

At the end of the street, there is a snow-white building towering high above the surrounding shops. On the shiny bronze gate, is a string of large characters-Gringa.

As the largest economic mobility center in the UK, there is an endless stream of people in front of Gringotts. But Ulysses had no plans to go in. Before coming to England, he put most of the property of the French Lestrange family in his pocket.

Ulysses avoided the crowd. He didn't like the crowded feeling.

As a transfer student, you have to buy textbooks first.

Lihen Bookstore is located near Mrs. Morkin's robe shop. As the largest and most comprehensive bookstore in Diagon Alley, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had many students here to buy textbooks before the school started.

Today, however, there seems to be more people. A large banner was pulled out in front of the window upstairs:

Jidro Lockhart’s autobiography "I Know Magic" for sale today at 12:30-16:30 this afternoon

Ulysses smiled subtly and walked into the bookstore.

The shelves here are full of books, even reaching the ceiling. The books inside are also in all kinds of weird shapes, such as huge leather books like paving slabs, small silver books like stamps, and books full of strange symbols that automatically turn pages that seem to be tempting people to read.

Ulysses took out the envelope, followed the book list on it, and strolled around the bookstore.

Except for Lockhart's book. Not to mention the expensive books, all of them are plagiarized works. What's more outrageous is that Lockhart actually used those books as teaching materials, which made Ulysses doubt whether his face was thicker than the city walls.

When the time comes, find someone to borrow a copy of the curse to deal with the class. Ulysses has money and is not sick, so Garon will not be wasted on this.

After buying the textbooks needed for the third grade, Ulysses picked a few more magic books he was interested in, and after payment, he walked out of the Lihen Bookstore leisurely.

The books he bought will be sent to the school from the bookstore.

"We can meet him in person! I mean, he wrote almost all the books on the list!"

Ulysses walked through the crowd without a trace, but heard a slightly abrupt shout.

His gaze followed the sound source, a little girl with brown fluffy hair stood among a group of people, holding a copy of "Break with a Female Ghost" in her hand, and happily said to two boys who were similar to her age. .

The two boys, one with messy hair, wore broken glasses with tape, and there was a looming scar on his forehead that only appeared slightly when his hair was flicked.

The other, with red hair like flames and freckles all over his face, looked like a turkey.

Is this the Gryffindor trio?

Ulysses squinted thoughtfully, then left the place silently.

He turned into the robe shop next door.

Mrs. Morkin was a short, squat, middle-aged witch, dressed in a purple robe, with a nice smile on her face.

After seeing Ulysses, her eyes brightened.

The fourteen-year-old Ulysses is close to 1.7 meters tall. With that handsome face, it is perfect to be a hanger.

"Are you also a Hogwarts student? I don't seem to have seen you before."

Mrs. Morkin stepped forward, looked at him twice, and asked with a smile.

"Yes, starting this year."

Ulysses didn't say it carefully, and said vaguely.

"If you have been to my shop, I will definitely be impressed, boy."

Mrs. Morkin didn't care. After asking about the robes that Ulysses needed, Mrs. Morkin enthusiastically tailored and refined for him herself, and enthusiastically asked him to try them on the spot.

Ulysses had some Didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. After he couldn't avoid it, he could only take off his own robe and put on the black robe that Mrs. Morkin took out.

The design of the robe is extremely simple. The texture is excellent, with a silky smooth feeling. The cuffs are embroidered with a layer of gold, and there is a looming crow on the back of the robe.

After the opening of the school, the coat of arms of the robe will appear on the chest, and there will be no other decorations other than that.

Mrs. Morkin looked up and down, her eyes filled with satisfaction. For her, the happiest thing is to put a good robe on the right person.

"Thank you very much, ma'am."

Ulysses took a picture in the mirror, with the same satisfaction in his heart, and saluted Mrs. Morkin.

Mrs. Morkin smiled and was about to speak when a shout came from the store door:

"Someone is fighting!"
