A twenty-two-year-old man was sitting in the cafeteria, drinking coffee. Reading a science book in hand in Chinese characters, it was currently Yun Ren's lunchtime.

He was currently drinking coffee in the main base of Cloud Sect's cafeteria.

Aside from him, there were also a bunch of humans within the same age range as him who had occupied the cafeteria to spend their lunchtime. All of them were wearing iconic white lab coats and even more than half of them had worn eyeglasses.

But while Yun Ren was reading the science book, he noticed that there were suddenly two four-year-old children that appeared in front of him, sitting on the chair in front of him.

For the first time in his life, Yun Ren was left doubting his life.

'Was the zombie virus developed to this point that even children could now causally use teleportation? Didn't the boss say that the zombie virus was just recently developed and it was still being cultivated?'

'How come even two children could withstand the zombie virus without turning into a zombie and even using supernatural powers? With the current stage of the zombie virus, this is impossible to happen. Or did the boss lie to me?'

Several questions flooded Yun Ren's mind as he started to make an explanation for the situation in front of him.

"You hear that Lynn? It seems that the zombie virus was developed this early. The zombie virus was developed even before the start of the apocalypse."

The four-year-old boy with ebony black hair and crimson red eyes talked to the girl beside him, commenting on his discovery.

"I hear that, Alister. But if the zombie virus was developed this early, then it could only mean that the zombie apocalypse fourteen years from now has been perfected by the Cloud Sect. No wonder this Yun Ren guy had used advanced technology which was the nemesis of the zombie virus."

The four-year-old girl with golden blonde hair and crimson red eyes nodded her head and gave her comment as well, ignoring Yun Ren in front of her.

With how powerful Alister was, it wasn't a problem for him to infiltrate the Cloud Sect with Lynn and appear in front of Yun Ren.

Not to mention, with how cautious he was, he wouldn't risk Lynn's safety by going into the tiger's den with him. But that wasn't a problem as he had managed to raise Lynn's power level to SS-rank Initial Stage by transferring a few of his zombie virus and viral energy to her.

And due to Lynn's request, she didn't want to become a human awakener as she was used to being a zombie in all the previous timelines. In other words, just like the previous timelines, Lynn was also a zombie girl in this timeline and she was even a Zombie Emperor.

If not for the risk of his evolution rank's regression, Alister would have continued transferring his power to Lynn. But the limit he could do was to give Lynn an SS-rank power as any more than that would regress his evolution rank to SS-rank Peak Stage.

However, S-rank was already enough to guarantee one's safety in this world, let alone SS-rank. Due to that, Alister and Lynn dared to appear in front of Yun Ren, making Yun Ren doubt his life.

When Yun Ren eavesdropped on the conversation between Alister and Lynn, he was frightened to realize that Alister and Lynn were too anomalous!

'Apocalypse? The zombie apocalypse will start fourteen years from now? Does this mean from what that kid said, the zombie virus will only be perfected fourteen years from now?'

'Technology against the zombie virus? Even the current Cloud Sect doesn't have it yet since the zombie virus has only been recently developed. And from how that kid spoke highly of me, I seem to be the one who developed that technology and obtained the ownership of Cloud Sect.'

When Yun Ren thought of that, he found out that his future wasn't that bad.

As for why he didn't doubt Alister and Lynn's words despite the two of them being children, it was when he noticed that not only did those two appear in front of him without his knowledge, but even his colleagues who had passed by near him didn't see the two children nor heard their words.

There might also be the possibility that those two children were ghosts who had a grudge against him so only he could see them, but Yun Ren didn't believe in the existence of ghosts.

After all, he was a firm believer in science!

Although he can't explain how those two children traveled to this timeline from the future, but Yun Ren still knew that he might not be able to explain it, but the future could explain it!

As for the supernatural powers displayed to him by these two children, it could only be explained by the zombie virus!

Yun Ren believed that there was nothing that science couldn't explain! If there was, then it could only be explained by science in the future!

When Alister read Yun Ren's mind and discovered that Yun Ren got the gist of their identity, Alister couldn't help but compliment, "As expected of the mastermind of the zombie virus! Although from what it looks, you aren't the one who discovered or developed it, but you seemed to be the one who perfected it."

"Tell me, how does it feel knowing that you have fulfilled your life's greatest goal in the future? After all, Lynn and I can be considered your indirect perfection creation as the two of us have used the perfected version of the zombie virus to become the strongest."

Posed to Alister's question, Yun Ren knew that his life was at the hands of Alister.

As someone intelligent, Yun Ren had already discovered that Alister wasn't lying to him. And comparing it to the reaction of his colleagues who had ignored his conversation with Alister, Yun Ren who was currently powerless knew that he couldn't resist.

"Sigh… What did my future self do to you that you even went back in time to take your revenge against me?"
