Wizards Under Cthulhu

Vol 2 Chapter 14: Ordinary farm

Norman looked at Flake, and finally nodded.

Although Norman still doesn't know whether Flake's fate guidance is correct, he still chooses to believe it.

The two got out of the car following the crowd.

The sunny sky outside is just right, the sky blue is a bit unreal.

Looking around, there is an empty space in front of them, row after row of small houses.

Behind the hut is a green jungle.

Here, it should be the safety zone drawn out.

Norman thought, he saw many apprentices flying into the sky, observing the surroundings, and exclaiming at the same time.

Norman and Flake were curious, and they flew up one after another.

Standing on the ground, watching the sky is endless blue.

Norman found out when he was in the sky.

This blue is only confined to one area. Under the blue sky, there is a jungle, and in the middle of the jungle is a broad green farm.

There is a gray sky outside of the blue sky.

There is a sharp contrast between the brightness here and the gray surroundings.

This is the day of Crocker Farm.

Norman looked far, and could see the hard-working people on the farm. They should be an aborigines!

The two watched for a while before falling back to the ground.

"Let's go to the farm and see." Flake suggested.

   "Okay." Norman nodded.

The two of them took a step forward and hurried towards the direction of the farm.

There are not a few who make the same choice as them.

One thing that is recognized is that it is safe during the day, and of course it is also a good time to gather intelligence.

"Are there any hints for the fate guide?" Norman asked.

"Fate tells me that the answer lies in front of us!" Flake replied.

Hearing what he said, Norman looked around.

The secluded jungle looks very peaceful.

Bird calls from time to time, snakes, insects, rats and ants hiding in the weeds and trees evaded and fled because of the noise around them.

   It's really normal here.

Their speed is very fast, but within a few minutes, their vision widens.

The land in front of him has become level.

The green crops are growing just right.

Dozens of apprentice wizards were shuttled among them.

The people who were working at first saw them and acted nervously.

Two of them were surrounded by several apprentices and were questioning.

Norman and Flake glanced at each other, then leaned over.

Suddenly, Norman felt the fat orange in his hand tighten.

Looking down, Fat Tachibana's squinted eyes turned round.

"It's dangerous here!" Fat Orange's thought appeared in Norman's brain.

Fat Tachibana doesn’t speak, but he can express what he means.

Danger? How dangerous? Norman came to the spirit.

Now he, like everyone else, is at a loss.

If Fat Orange can detect anything, it’s best.

"Someone is following you!" Flake suddenly moved closer.

Norman did not wait for Fat Orange's reply when he heard Fleck's words.

His aftermath was swept away, there were many apprentices around, and I couldn't see who was following him.

The orange cat has narrowed his eyes and no longer pays attention to Norman.

Norman didn't get the answer, so he had to be more vigilant.

The aborigines who were working in the fields have been surrounded by groups.

Under the powerful charm of the apprentice of the Contract Summoning Department, the aboriginal people were caught all the words unknowingly.

What the aboriginal people said, they already know, there is no fresh information at all.

   "Ah!" A scream suddenly sounded.

Everyone looked for the sound and saw an aboriginal eyeball had come out of the eye socket, and blood was splashing.

The whole head seemed to be squeezed and became a little irregular.

The nose, mouth and ears also gurgled with blood.

An apprentice with a gloomy face, pale face and blue lips stood in front of the aborigines.

This apprentice is from the contract summoning system, and he walks the soul route.

The aborigines were apparently forced to search for their souls and read their brain memories.

Ordinary people couldn't withstand the powerful spiritual impact of the soul search at all, and they killed him in an instant.

just looked at the apprentice’s face and sullen eyes. Obviously, he didn’t get any good results.

"Xia Li! You killed Xia Li!" Aboriginal people dressed as farmers screamed in shock, and they turned and ran towards the farm, apparently preparing to call someone.

It's just that they didn't run two steps, they fell to the ground one after another, and there was no sound.

There are no less than a hundred third-level apprentices here, so it is naturally impossible for a few ordinary people to run away.

Norman secretly wrote down the faces of these people, preparing to see if they will really come back tomorrow.

The two followed the large group and walked towards the farm.

What happened here, the aborigines of the farm did not notice.

Both the screams and corpses were blocked by ordinary tricks.

The apprentices hope that these aborigines will find out.

That means that they are not ordinary people like the information introduced.

This way, you can follow this direction and find the secret of Crocker's farm.

It's a pity that apart from curiosity and vigilance, these aborigines have no extra emotions.

Norman and Fleck pricked up their ears, listening to the stereotypes of the contract summoners and the aborigines.

The apprentices of the Contract Summoning Department are naturally more attractive, and it is very easy to make people feel good. They also do this kind of intelligence gathering work.

After just half an hour, we talked.

All the apprentices of wizards, all the names and occupations of everyone here are matched, and even where they live is clear.

After the third-level wizard apprentice deliberately inquired, this farm has no secrets at all.

According to what they said ~www.readwn.com~ The farm owner's family went out early to visit relatives, leaving only the housekeeper and a few servants on the farm.

This housekeeper is a burly woman nearly 1.8 meters tall.

The brown hair is high, with a serious expression on his face.

In front of her, there were two apprentices from the Contract Summoning Department. They took turns asking the housekeeper.

The answer from the housekeeper is generally the same as the answer recorded in the data.

These information, apprentices have already kept in mind.

This time, no one forced the use of soul-searching, because everyone here has experienced soul-searching more than twice in the past ten years.

After this time, Norman, like everyone else, received no news.

Norman and Fleck began to wander around the farm.

is surrounded by farmland, vegetable plots and barns.

A few big dogs barked at them twice, then under Fat Orange's gaze, they whimpered and squabbled on the ground.

In fact, Norman and the others are almost as if they are in no one's land.

All those who wanted to stop them were hypnotized and gave way.

made a circle around the farm. Without finding anything, the Normans turned their target to the residence.

Of course, it's not just Norman who did this, all the wizard apprentices were doing it, and even better, it was just a matter of digging three feet.

The farmer’s residence is a small three-story wooden building.

On both sides of the small building, there are rooms where servants live.

Only the housekeeper is a single room, and the rest are two or more people in a room.

These fifty-six people are not all people from the farm. There are more than a dozen farmers from the surrounding area, but they are temporarily hired to help. They live in a simpler, more than a dozen people live in a large tiled room.
