Why don't you build a village on top of the world tree

Episode XVI: The Journey to Aquas · Yoinsley

After two nights and three days at Jicha's house, I finally decided to leave for Aquas Town in Kanes.

"Now use your crotch knife before you come."

"Stop shaking the bottom story till we break up!

You're ruining it.

Laughing Ji-chan drops me off, and I leave my hometown of Lemuk Village.

I'm just relaxed, but thanks to the slow flow of time, I'm a little glad everyone remembered me.

With my hair pulled back but looking forward, I go straight to the east skyscraper, Joynesley.

The town of Haratra, the city of Salatin and the road to finally arriving.

Winter is also in full swing and the snow is starting to fall slightly.

Around Takakus Town, is it time to start smoking ram bird cushions?

The drop in temperature has also been accompanied by a decrease in the incidence of demonic worms, which are safe and easy to walk. It would be just the right time to make a journey because the snow isn't quite enough yet either.

I can't earn travel expenses instead, but I don't worry because I originally have enough funds out there. The funds themselves are doubling thanks to the sale of the Devil Bug material we hunted along the way.

I am enjoying the strange phenomenon of increasing funds even though I am traveling.

From now on, I'm going to look down on you. I can't hunt snowworms because I don't have any gear.

The white painted bridge in Haratra town, seen in the snow, and the glasses bridge erected by Mr. Friengs were beautiful objects.

Both are still good bridges because they blend into the seasonal landscape and yet they don't completely lose their presence.

That's how I crossed Salatin 'City, and I arrived in Nostalgia Joynesley.

It is as immense as ever.

A number of aerial corridors and groups of buildings that extend to high, high, cloud-no-layers. Even the fictitious library was alive, of course.

I'll take a trip to the lender where I kept my office.

Outside it was cleaned and a pot of Takowka plants was placed by the window.

I guess someone lives there.

This is how people's livelihoods shift and go to the fictitious library, while hissing.

I'm not even pre-appointing, so there's no false librarian greeting. There's nothing to talk about in the first place even if you're greeted.

"Excuse me. I'm here to dedicate, do you have a minute?

Catch one of the clerks at the reception and give him two history books of Richay's work.

The young scribe who received the book looked at the author's name and made his eyes squeeze, then he looked at me.

"... are you from Sister Lee's family?

"Richay would be working for me in our office."

Calling Lishay Sister Lee is about a kid from the Yoinsley orphanage.

So, this scribe...

"Maybe, Micam? I became a clerk apprentice with Richay's introduction."

"That's right. Could it be Mr. Amane?

"Yeah, it's Mr. Amane."

Micam nodded as she was convinced when she pointed and answered about herself.

"So you brought me my sister Lee's new book. Do you always get the gratuities?

"They want me to donate to the orphanage as usual. This is the letter."

When I gave him the letter that Richay gave me, Micam read the letter all the time before putting it on top of two history books.

"Please wait a moment. I'll make an assessment."

"How long will it take?

"I think we'll be done by lunch. Because a scribe who is good at fast reading is on duty today."

"Okay. Well, I'm just hanging around."

"I'm afraid so."

When I tried to leave the reception counter, Micam called.

"Oh, you know, how's sister Lee?

"I'm fine. I'm not with you today though. Didn't you get the letter?

"It's arrived, because the dean won't tell me what it is. I hear you're fine..."

"Okay. I'll tell Richay to send a letter to Micam next time."

"Thank you"

While Micam keeps my head down, I go around the library for the first time in a long time.

Unlike an underground library, it is not maze shaped. It's the same here with wing light wing lamps everywhere, but it's easy to walk thanks to not being in it.

There seems to be a slight increase in book holdings compared to when I was interested in takakus.

In the section with architectural and bridge materials, I was embarrassed to find a thin book about me... a thin book of materials.

I've thought about books that are naturally thin. Let's not think about whether Jicha poisoned you or Teten.

Now, the thin dossier book in question was a summary of people who had qualified as a Bridger in the past at double-digit ages, including me and Kanes.

Yesterday, many young people are overflowing with action, but here is a summary of who the successful and powerful are and what achievements they have made. and so on.

There are seven of them all listed, including me and Kanes. I hear it's the first time Kanes and I have a double-digit age Bridger qualifier in our generation.

So Joynesley and Beautellarm are starting to argue over surrogate rivals.

The contents at the heart are quite interesting.

Seven people's architecture, design personalities and features are compared in detail. It describes the effect of overlooking and multilaterally crossing bridges based on the context in which the bridges were to be crossed and the situation of the villages and towns listed on the two connected branches.

Design-focused Kanes was credited with beginning to gain convenience as he was grasping the flow of people and things at the end of the line with the application of his design skills.

In contrast, it says that in addition to the original economical and rational design, I began to gain the ability to design on my own, adding playfulness.

At any rate, the field of view has been fixed by the design of the building itself, and there is still room for development regarding the combination with the surrounding area.

"If you ask me, I'll have to convince you."

Yaba Bridge, Takakus Town Church, Duet Bridge, etc. are quite appreciated buildings on their own, but when asked if they are in harmony with their surroundings, they have to lean their necks.

Although it was not uncomfortable for a single, distinctive building to be built with Deng until now because it was not yet densely packed with buildings, if the town of Tacax is to develop and the buildings become dense, it must also be well thought out and designed to work with the surroundings.

"I wonder if you have any good material."

Review some materials related to urban design, roll around and choose the objects you like.

With the three selected books in his hand, he calls out to the male scribe with the Tsung Tsung head, who was organizing the bookcase.

"Excuse me, I'd like a copy."

"Oh, yes. Which book is it?

"Give me these three books"

The male clerk turns around and frowns at the three books he receives from me.

"Three books from the urban planning system......"

Seeing my face, the male scribe, who barely went back and forth from the top of his head to his toes, slowly starts to speak in a tone that tells him.

"You're not even three kegs old yet, are you? I don't think we should be in a hurry to have more downloading experience before we get into the village."

"Uh."

I didn't think they'd do it here.

However, I realized that I was still inexperienced after being pointed out the weaknesses in architectural design even though it was over paper. This damned thing comes to my mind...

A male clerk puts his hand on my shoulder and continues with a gentle, whispering voice.

"Sure, when you're young, people say your ability to act is a weapon. The old folks will act in case a young man like you fails without stopping for unscrupulous behavior. However, the act of entertaining the village involves too many people, even if it is sweet to the generosity of the elderly. You are so calm that you hear my words directly from the front and think about them, so if you hear and learn from people, you will surely not be far away and your dreams will come true. You should first calmly think about what you can and cannot do when you are interested in the village right now and consult with the experienced adults in your surrounding life on it. Of course, I'll talk to you."

"- Mr. Amane, your assessment is complete."

Micam, with a glimpse of her face from between the bookshelves, looks at me and the male clerk and snaps her neck.

"Senior, is something wrong with Mr. Amane?

"... Amane,?

The male clerk, who looked at me with a gibberish, shifted his gaze to the three books he received from me, and then checked the author's name of the two history books Micam has, one cohon and one cough.

"Apparently, I haven't had enough life experience yet. I don't know what to say when these things happen."

"No, it was a story that would help"

"It just sounds disgusting... By the way, do you remember me?

The male clerk asks me and puts me in the neck.

You forgot about me and gave me some advice.

"You're the clerk who was soliciting Richay for a fictitious librarian apprenticeship at the exit of the venue for the architect qualification exam, right?

"No, you remember it a lot more clearly."

"I still don't remember much because I don't have enough experience in my life, so I thought I'd try to remember as much as I could once."

"Thanks for the advice"

Make up, or rearrange, or cross the vague handshakes of meaning to charade the faultlessness and disrespect of both sides.

"Are those two books of assessment? Looks like Mr. Richay's the same."

I've been reading history books since I found time.

"Sometimes I know because I have an order for a copy of the material. Still, thank you for the dedication to the orphanage, right?

"He says it's a good idea because the property of knowledge is still in his head."

"It's like Mr. Richay's rhetoric."

The male clerk laughed quietly and promised me a copy of the three books he had received from me.

"I think it will take a while because there are quite a few illustrations. Takakus, do you want me to send you to town?

"Yes, so please"

Probably has reached my head next summer.

"Then I'll do it."

"Aren't you going to see the librarian?

"I haven't sent a request for a visit, and I don't have a particular case."

I'm not close enough to make a personal relationship.

Leaving the False Library, I head to the Yoinsley Orphanage with that leg.

Richay and I took good care of each other when we were in Yoinsley, and they introduced us to our work. It is outrageous not to say hello.

People's edges are priceless.

When I asked about the orphanage, I heard the same noise from the children.

Speak up to one of the boys who was kicking each other in the orphanage yard with a soft ball made of water mixed with the liquefied yarn of a bird eater spider.

"Is Dean Orphan here now?

"... brother, who?

That's right.

It was more than a decade ago when I left Joynesley to wake up Takakus, and the only person in the orphanage who remembered me would be the elderly.

Your brother feels a little rusty. Not enough for homesickness to recur.

Don't go to Aquas, let's go home now.

"It's Amane, the mayor of Takakus. I'm here to say hello to Dean Orphan."

"You're at the church, aren't you?

"Thanks"

"You're welcome."

A fifteen or six year old girl from somewhere turned to me and raised one hand when she turned her foot to Jonesley Church next to the orphanage.

"Halo Roth!

"Halo Roth!

Ha! I reacted.

The girl's expression became much brighter.

"After all, it's my brother Ama!

I didn't expect to find out in this way. When did Hallorose become a method of identification? Take it into a spy movie or something.

The girl who follows me to church apparently cried when I rebuilt the orphanage.

"Thank you for your help with that verse"

The girl gently lowers her head.

"So, how did Brother Ama end up in an orphanage?

"I thought I'd say hello to the Dean because he wanted to go through. Because I've taken care of a lot of things."

I also smoke souvenir sinks.

Faced with the church, the bishop, who was also the dean, was cleaning the chapel.

The bishop, who noticed the footsteps and raised his face, opened his eyes as if surprised to see me.

"This is you, Amane. Welcome."

"Hi, I wanted to go through nearby, so I asked to say hi. Has the orphanage had any problems since then?

Ask while handing over the smoked meat from the souvenir sink.

The bishop put a candle against the wall and received a souvenir from me.

"Yeah, the kids are still fine. It doesn't always change how busy your face is when it changes. You've got fewer kids running around the orphanage, but you've got more kids playing in the garden instead. Unlike before, I didn't have to go to a nearby park, so my younger kids wouldn't be left behind."

"Really? You're right."

"Oh, absolutely."

Bishop and two laughs.

The girl who came with me wasn't able to follow the story because she was only a child at the time.

As far as the bishops are concerned, the orphanage hallway, which the kids were vulnerable to because of running around, is also going to last long if it's this new building I built with my design.

"I'm rushed early to come, but I'm going now, aren't I? Because I have business in Aquas, south."

"Really? Now I hope we can talk slowly."

"Yeah, I'll see you soon."

I said goodbye to the bishop and the girl, and I left the church.

I also showed my face to Mermie's home, a wooden cage shop, but the manager and the following craftsmen said they were away on a bridge job.

Give Mermie's adoptive mother only the smoked sink to spare her time early.

This concludes my business at Yoinsley.

Shall we go straight for Aquas after that?
