A letter was received requesting attendance at the town mayor's meeting along with the announcement that Takakus would be recognized as a town.

That's why I was visiting Katella City with Richay.

Enter an inn room with prepared courtesies and paperwork.

"It's been a long time since you've stayed at the inn with Richay."

"Maybe since the time of the Jianqiao family. It's been about ten years, and I don't think it's been a while since I've exaggerated."

It has a lifespan of a thousand years. Hey......

It is the first cultural shock in a long time.

Richay laughs at me like a prank.

"Was it so hard to wait to be alone?

"Takakus Town doesn't give us a chance to be alone."

"... honestly admittedly, I don't know how to return it."

Richay, with his illuminated face, puts out a set of his own clothes from his travel bag so that he can switch.

A silky, hand-touched dress made of bird eater spider yarn is a piece with a longer length and a neat line of apron shaped dress tailored to suit it. Anyway, I feel close to ethnic costumes around Bulgaria.

The apron-shaped dress features geometric patterns and plant embroidery, with eight decorations hanging together with hammers on the hem. The sleeves that reach to the wrist of the piece are clean white and the cuffs are narrow.

These clothes are considered to be as classy as those with wide hems and cuffs. Probably because it's a sign that you're not living a life stirred up by the wind.

Generally, I don't wear too good a courtesy for a town mayor's meeting.

Since the size of towns varies from the size of hairy villages like Takakus to the size of having a comparable population to the city, a little casuality is needed to prevent smaller towns of scale from constricting.

Richay slapped me on the shoulder as I was pulling out my own courtesy, too.

"I'll change in the next room."

"Oh, okay."

Drop off Richay disappearing into the next bedroom and I'll start dressing.

Clothes for men also look Bulgarian. Combination of shirt, waistband and trousers on jacket with embroidery on jacket.

The shirt with long sleeves is white. Dark-colored trousers have wide cuffs and hammer-like embellishments around the calves. Heavier than it looks because of the thickness of the fabric itself in addition to the hammer. The thick waistband was blue, with decorative strings and hammers on the ends.

"Eh, did the belt leave excess and drool over your hips?"

There must have been a lot of different ways to hang the tie tie in line, but this time make it a way to hang both ends on the right side overlapping the orthodox.

All you have to do is weave your jacket. This jacket, characterised by a calm texture of embroidery, does not have a fastening present. It didn't even have a decorative button.

The waist-length jacket has two cuts in the back to allow it to fall out behind even if stirred by the wind, so no hammer is necessary.

"I don't know what to do with the muffler"

I want to wear it in the mood. This is the muffler that Richay and Melmie made for me.

But it's not that cold out there.

I don't know what to do.

Troubled with the muffler in one hand, Richay came out of her bedroom after she finished dressing.

"I don't think you have to wear a muffler."

"I wonder"

I was wondering if it would suddenly get cold.

Still worried, Richay confiscated the muffler.

Richay wrestles a muffler in a travel bag by shaking the skirt part doubled with a piece and a dress.

"Richay looks good in those flickering clothes, too."

"I tailored it to suit you."

I think that would be awesome.

Richay's lustrous hair makes Golden Falls on her back. I think that's fine, but I feel like I should get my hair up this time.

It's a matter of my taste.

"There's no ribbon?

"I don't have it, but I'm not sure if I'll wear it..."

"All right, put it on."

Let's put it on now.

Ponytail Richay's blonde hair with a blue ribbon. Perfect. It is perfect such as a white noodle.

I can be proud of you wherever you put it out. Rather brag.

"Shall we go then?"

Go to the town mayor's meeting.

The venue for the town mayor's meeting was a public building used until the time when the city of Kattera was a town.

The city of Katella, which spans two layers: the lower cloud and the lower cloud, built a new public and private building on the lower cloud. As a result, this town-era public hall on the lower cloud level was rented out at town mayor's meetings and so on.

Though it is aging just because it was made in the town days, it is well cleaned. Nor does the equipment seem to be broken just because it is somewhat old.

Enter the conference room upstairs with Richay.

Several mayors of towns and their seemingly proximate people had already taken their seats and were bickering. He's going to be over seven hundred from five hundred down there.

One of my clients, the mayor of Cateo Township, looks at me and stands up.

"Oh, Amane, it's been a while"

"Long time no see"

Shake hands, and the mayor of Cateo recommends you to sit next to him. Richay sat in the side chair behind me.

Mayor Kateo looks at me from the top of my head to my toes and nods.

"You look great. Most importantly, youthfulness is good. The town mayor's meeting was like an old congregation, so I feel fresh."

"- Mr. Cateo, that's the younger one, isn't it?

A bearded man, about five hundred years old, sitting across from me surrounded by a long desk, grins and pinches his mouth.

From the plate placed on my desk, I knew I was the representative of Hedgeway Town.

A small town on the north side of the world tree, Hedgeway is the founder of the Coyote Breeding Fund.

Mayor Hedgeway looks at me and laughs at me.

"Mayor Takakus, it's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard the story, but you're certainly young. I've heard a lot about him."

"No, I'm still a young man, and it's an honor to be present at the venue where our predecessors gather like this. Let me study."

"Right. I'm glad you could stand up as a senior, but that's distressing. I suggested at this meeting that we put tariffs on the ram birds in Tacax town. I'm sorry."

I didn't think you'd come from the other side to talk to me.

The mayor of Hedgeway scratched his head in a bad way to see if he read anything from my expression.

"I knew it. My uncle would be in trouble if he could stand up with such an adultless suggestion."

"No, because I take industrial protection for granted"

"It's helpful to have an understanding. Instead, let me give you two jade coins in return for the road work."

"Jade coin, is it?

Construction costs are expected to cost roughly seven pieces of balls. Some places are a little cliff-like due to the bulge of branches, which makes them a little more expensive.

You can say that two jade coins are enough in return.

The mayor of Hedgeway puts both elbows on his desk.

"We also intend to properly understand the importance of the town of Tacax. I have no intention of inhibiting its development. However, it cannot be overlooked that the volume of coyote meat sold falls. That's why I'm in favor of building roads between the town of Tacax and the city of Katella. I wonder if other towns are similar."

At some point some of the representatives of the other towns who had arrived would sit down, nodding at the words of the hedgeway mayor.

Mayor Kateo made sure his seat was filled and got up.

"Now let's start the town mayor's meeting. Mayor Hedgeway, talk about tariffs."

"Aye. Mayor Takakus, please stand. We should talk about it together."

As the mayor of Hedgeway urges me, I stand up, too.

Mayor Hedgway looks around at the mayors surrounding his desk and opens his mouth.

"As notified in advance, he wants to hang tariffs on rum birds in the town of Tacax. This tariff is determined by each town on its own initiative and you don't have to hang it. However, in the case of hanging, it is assumed that the Mayor of Takakus will continue to cooperate free of charge in the business he talks about."

The mayor of Hedgeway gave me the story after he created the soil to take the story so that there would be no unilaterally detrimental towns.

I take back the story of the mayor of Hedgeway.

"We notified you in advance of this, but it was a matter of how steep it was, so we took the time to coordinate with the city of Kattella, and I'm sure some of you haven't received any contact. Let me start from scratch."

After the prefix, I will announce my plan to lay a wide road between the town of Tacax and the city of Kattera with two coyote cars long enough.

The plan also has the consent of the city of Katella.

When I finished talking about the outline of the plan, the oldest looking mayor on this occasion put his arms together.

"It was an easy story to understand. But, Mr. Takakus, don't be shy. It's a lot at times like this. Look, Mr. Hedgeway there, you've been building up road construction skills. Shouldn't we be offering technology for free? If tariffs are to be imposed on rum birds in the village of Tacax on a constant basis in the future, that should be how much in return. Two jade pieces? It won't be the end of the story."

I'm sure I'd appreciate it if I could get a technical offer.

Hedgeway operates the Coyote breeding business jointly with the surrounding villages.

In the rearing of coyotes, which will mainly take the form of grazing, there is a need to travel extensively in order to feed the leaves of the world trees, as well as extensive road maintenance to prevent falls.

The road network contributes to the development of the dyeing, spinning and textile industries that use coyote hair and the establishment of a division of labour between villages and towns, so much so that it drives the increase in the number of traders connecting those villages and towns and the circulation of currency, creating an economy centered on hedgeways.

Hence, the town of Hedgeway has excellent road construction know-how.

Mayor Hedgeway scratched his head in a bitter laugh.

"We said we wanted to hang tariffs, so should we do that much? Mayor Takakus, let's get ready to provide technology. Do you mind?

"Yes, please"

Three other towns besides the town of Hedgeway declared that they would impose tariffs on lamb birds, with rates of taxation ranging from 10% to 20%.

In addition, funding for road maintenance between the towns of Tacax and Kattera totalled eight jade coins, with additional technical contributions from the town of Hedgeway.

I am not dissatisfied. It would rather be as much as I gained.

As the story came together and I breathed a sigh of relief, the mayor of Hedgeway turned to the water.

"They say Tacax Town is becoming more popular with varietally improved rum birds, but are we going to export them there too?

"No, I'm going to be offering it to tourists just inside the town of Tacax for a while now. It's just been done and breeding."

"I was thinking about buying a souvenir by Takakus Town because I'm talking about a delicacy that's not comparable to previous lamb birds, can't you?

"Because I haven't even sold it as a souvenir yet"

"Right. Then let's wait for the next meeting."

Afterwards, plans for interaction between towns and so on will be discussed.

The first town mayor's meeting ended without delay for me, especially since no major concerns existed.

Leaving the public hall, I enter a restaurant near the inn with Richay.

Richay asks for a dish involving pasta and lamb bird meat in a cream made of coyote milk and butter, a vegetable similar to horseradish.

"If it's a Kattera city, you'll get ingredients from nearby towns and villages, so you can cook something like this."

"Tacax Town doesn't get coyote milk."

It could be a little more different if the road between Kattera city and me could be developed.

Originally, the villages of Tacax and Kattella were on separate branches, but the third branch hitting the midpoint of the duet bridge crossed at the time of the merger with the village of Kidato will be the shortest route to Kattella.

The journey that has so far taken two days may also be shortened to a day's walk.

"I'll take this dish, please."

Pasta with egg yolks, cream and cheese. Sounds like the original of this restaurant.

It was an old nostalgic carbonara, no matter what you think it was carried. Really, it's delicious.

Delicious on a level I've never tasted in my previous life. Smoked lamb bird meat used instead of bacon is particularly delicious. Is the boulder a city called Katella, which has a training school for heat management officers?

Richay also eats cream pasta looking delicious.

"I'm glad you made it through the meeting."

"I thought the mayor's meeting was more of a slaughter, so it was a surprise."

"There's some pre-adjustment, so they don't get into much of a fight. Mayor Kateo's wife was talking."

Shortly before the meeting began, he heard a lot from his wife, the secretary of the Mayor of Cateo, who was sitting next to him.

"I'm just the secretary of the historic town of Cateo, and I got a lot of information about the meeting."

"Right. We're newcomers and we're searching for something. Thanks for the info."

We will be attending in the future, and if an emerging village fails, there should be reception talks.

I need to get used to it from now on so I can coordinate my opinions successfully.

"... it's already a town"

"It hasn't been ten years. It didn't take long."

Richay squeaks as he wraps the pasta around the fork.

"Aquas has become a town too, hasn't it?

"It has a population of 600. Kanes must have been promoted to deal with the refugee outbreak."

"I can't get ahead of you."

"Right. Looks like they're chasing us."

The next goal is promotion to the city.

Well, that's, uh, think about it.

"There's gonna be a festival to celebrate your promotion to town."

I reached for my post-meal herbal tea as I made up my mind to plan it quickly when I left.
