Unmotivated Hero's Tale

The curtain rises from the meeting.

For the Kingdom of Clarice, the first war in decades has been sparked and we are about to celebrate an early year.

The nearly collapsed state system was also beginning to show signs of calm, albeit little by little. But the scars deeply engraved by the war have not yet disappeared. And few were dissatisfied with the way that the scar was healed.

For example, in the Duke's residence of one of the four Grand Dukes, a group was worried about the future of this country and their current situation.

"Apparently the civil unrest on the Rhindle has also ushered in convergence. I hear the next king has entrenched himself in Prince Kayla."

Thames, the Under-Secretary of State for Strategic Affairs, who became the flag-wielder of this gathering, tells that to those who surround the round table with their eyes meditating.

"Hmm... well, I guess I should be happy for this country that the mura scene has been eliminated"

"No, it's not that simple."

In response to Phil's optimistic remarks, a youth nobleman sitting almost opposite him, Blau shook his neck sideways, causing him to try to deny what he had said.

"Hmm, is there a problem too?

He's deeply involved in this case.

With a bittersweet look on his face, and when Thames uttered that word, the young nobleman gave an astonishing look and asked Thames.

"Guy? Who are you talking about?

"Probably about Yui Istarz. Aren't you, Undersecretary?

Thames nods slowly as the magnificent man sitting in the back of the room at three o'clock said so.

"Exactly. As soon as he arrives as Rhindle's diplomatic ambassador."

"Is that the man..."

A man sitting in the direction of four o'clock exhales so in a sinister tone with a sigh.

"In just around forty days, it collapsed the Muracene system and brought the old Kings back to the mainstream of the country. If it's his arm, all I can say is it's brilliant."

When Thames uttered his utterly heartless praise, Emiliotz, Undersecretary of the Army Ministry, located in the eight o'clock direction, opened his heavy mouth.

"Yui Istarz. You're a hero of salvation... admittedly competent, but don't be a little too habitual"

"Oh. I thought it would be dangerous to keep them in the military hub, so I flew them to the cadet school... I didn't know this was going to happen. You still think he should have been kept out of sight?"

Thames is the man who toughly insisted on making Yui's left transition to cadet school and the head of Yui haters inside the military. A man named Yui, whom he sees, was just a man who might not be good at it.

"Never mind, Lord Thames. No one can imagine buying Aotea students from the cadet school and going into action like incorporating them into their faction. The decision to remove it from cadet school would be natural. Even if I had to drink his HR requests."

"Either way, it's all Rheinberg. We have the lead in military personnel, but it is still true that he is at the top of the army. As he and that man continue to consign..."

Thames is the man who was seen as the successor to Mepler, who was the former Minister of Military Affairs. He was younger than Rheinberg and was not satisfied with his current position as second in the military because he was seen to have won the birth competition with him in the Courtman incident.

And more than that, I had jeopardized the birth of a dazzling star that threatened his feet and the fact that that star was connected to Reinberg earlier than anyone else.

"But if that man has any credit for this Rhindle thing, he's finally second. At least we have to vacate the post of Undersecretary of the three Ministries of Military Affairs or Foreign Affairs."

"Stupid, that you're the Undersecretary? There's no reason to be allowed to appoint a commoner as Undersecretary."

Feel furious as soon as Emiliotz speaks out about Yui's post in a tired voice.

"So what do we do? If you're going to be second in rank, you can't let something so high play without a job."

"Hmm, I haven't decided yet on a promotion to second place. Besides, if he had merit in the Rhindle, he was talking about another country. Why don't you just give me the right medal and leave it to me?"

"But he's still young in his mid-twenties. I'll run out of medals I can give him anyway. Even if we do this, if we keep going, we'll have to move to second place and first place within a short distance, and things can happen."

In response to Phil's objections, Emiliotts talks about such a future in a bittersweet tone. Then, with an abominable look on his face, Phil opened his mouth to throw away.

"You think he's a minister from the common people?... ridiculous"

"But in the unlikely event that he becomes a minister or something, bad practices will remain in this country. And there are fewer and fewer posts that we have to take over for our sons."

The zero o'clock direction in this round table, or the man in the deepest part of the room, speaks so in a tone as if to grieve. Then those who were on the spot shut up as if to contemplate.

It was the youngest aristocratic man in position in the six o'clock direction who broke the silent air that covered such a room.

"Then I have one idea, can you listen to me?

"What is it? Let's listen."

Thames tells the young man to go ahead and encourage him to. Then, after smiling slightly, everyone on this scene ran unexpectedly.

"If you want to prevent precedents from being broken, that's easy. Just make him a nobleman."

The moment the man said so, Feel stood up from the chair furiously, staring at him.

"You idiot, you are! Can you make him a nobleman?

"Easy, Feel. It won't be too late to disagree... and tell us what's in it for us by making him a nobleman."

Thames tells him so in a low, heavy voice as to calm the stirring feelings of others.

"Yeah, of course. The advantage is that making him a nobleman is in itself a compliment to him, so you don't have to proceed with the ranking either. And in case he gets promoted in the future, it means he won't have to be tarnished by the tradition that nobility alone, albeit in name, can be more than a undersecretary."

"... just the name."

Another aristocratic man who was on the spot opens his mouth like a cup of tea. Then the young nobleman laughs bitterly.

"I don't think we can do that. Because if you keep holding hands like this, they will continue to take the lead. Besides, the biggest advantage is that we can get him out of this king's capital."

"... what the hell is that supposed to mean?

That's what Emiliotz just asks when he doesn't know why. Then the young man slowly began to explain.

"In short, you just have to appoint him as a nobleman and a local lord. Do you think you can run your own territory while in King's Capital?

"... I see we know what your lord is after."

"Um, so you're taking away time to work in his army."

When Thames and Emiliotz opened their mouths one after the other, the young nobleman nodded loudly once to his satisfaction.

"Exactly. His leap back to King's Capital in the first place is only because he spends all his time for his birth and sells his charm to Elise and Reinberg, without any duty of nobility. It is impossible for a nobleman like you to work or anything but for the sake of such a birth. In other words, taking away from him the time to work in the King's capital is the best way to do it."

"Sure, it's an interesting suggestion, but what if his territorial management is on track enough to reflect even without him? I'm talking about that guy, and I can't deal with him using some strange method or handover."

When a man of one nobility utters a slight concern, the young nobleman shakes his head to the left and right to deny the opinion.

"Yeah, I was thinking about that possibility, too. So I'm thinking maybe we should take the story in the direction of letting Lemuriak rule over him."

"Lemuriak said!

As soon as I hear the notorious place names of southwest Clarice, a voice of surprise rises from the few on the spot.

"Yes, there is nothing his land can do about it, no matter how he takes incredible steps. There's nothing a man can do about the problems rooted in that land. If this goes well, I think he'll be a complete corpse."

"Lemuriak...... the abandoned earth? I see, if it's his land, it can certainly be done with him. But when it comes to Lemuriak as a whole, it's just too big. At least not the baron or the Viscount."

"You should make it count. It doesn't mean I'm omnipotent with him. If the time comes, just give me a reason that I'm not satisfied with the territorial management, and I can return the countenance. If this measure works, it will solve the case of this grace award, which seems to be one stone and two birds, but what?

When the young nobleman turns his gaze to the Lord of this Hall, who sits in the direction of zero o'clock, he asks him so. The old man then nodded deeply with his eyes closed and affirmed his suggestion.

"Fine, let's work from the eagle to the House of Lords. So, everyone, is that all right?

In that inquiry of the old man, those present on the spot will show their consents one after the other. Thus one meeting at the Blau family, one of the four Grand Dukes, moved on to the next agenda.
