Unmotivated Hero's Tale

Operational meetings

Kyle and the others arrived at the base of the resistance on the evening of the third day. Faces of the Resistance Heads of State were gathered in conference rooms in the base to determine future policies.

"Either way, as things stand, I think it's premature to challenge the fight in the face of the murky scene."

Of the four participating in that meeting, the only woman, the former magician of the court, Lerim, expresses, as a prudential theory, so much his own opinion.

"That's why you can't keep your hands around me. Their forces are expanding, and the foot of the mura scene is becoming more and more cheap. Things are getting tougher, I think."

While stroking his all-back redhead, it was Malfes, who was once the Kingsguard Commander, who spoke out his objections.

"That's true, but even if you hit something, what exactly are you going to do? If you have any belly plans, let me take a look at them.

When he heard Malfes speak, Bigsby, the oldest former foreign minister in the conference room, asked him that. Malfes opened his mouth with a bitter laugh at the self-derision as he moved his right palm flickering left and right.

"If that happens, it's already working."

To that remark by Malfes, the conference room comes silence. They have been meeting on this occasion, at a rate of one every ten days. Although short-term proposals and operations have been discussed many times and transferred to implementation, there has still been no effective direction in terms of the takeover of the King's capital, which is the ultimate aim, so as to grasp the clouds.

That's how Kyle, who felt stuck at this meeting, rarely utters a positive proposal.

"Either way, I think we have to move. Inside the Wang capital, the number of soldiers had increased before. It seems that some of the Lords of the region, who have previously been through independence, are about to begin to show their sincere condolences to the Murasene. Malfez is right, it will be the mountain of Sekiyama that will soon become poor if it stays this way."

Recently, Kyle interpreted the information he had examined in the Wang capital and expressed his own view. Then Bigsby bitterly complains about Kyle's actions, not their content.

"I understand the story. But what I always say... Kayla's information on the King's capital is invaluable, but no more, please don't imitate like this"

Bigsby exhaled in a deep sigh when he told him so in a tone that he would tell his distant grandson his age.

"So, but I'm the only one who can use that aisle. So the reconnaissance of the king's capital is in my service..."

Kyle was always a weaker voice than when he disagreed with Bigsby about whether there had been any change in mood.

"Like I always say, why don't you tell the others where the aisle is? The situation is the situation, though it is certainly a secret for generations of ancestors. I want you to go scouting for yourself."

"Exactly. Besides, this time I hear you let a total outsider use the example aisle. If so, it would no longer be a secret. We should let someone else do the reconnaissance in the future."

After a continuing sermon from both Bigsby and Lerim, Kyle turned down when his body was smaller and protested Lerim's opinion.

"That's... but I didn't have to stop then"

"Even so. If I come back from the local lord's persuasion, I hear he's bringing in people who don't know where the horsebones are, and he needs to be a little more aware."

Relim couldn't get her hair in between, and when she told Kyle that, suddenly Kyle raised her gaze and strengthened her tone.

"It's not a horsebone, that 's--"

Kyle, at a time when he raised his voice to protest Lerim's words and actions like he made fun of the Yui's, suddenly the conference room door was knocked so as to block their words and actions, and the voice of the guard sounded inside the conference room.

"Excuse me, Kayla was brought here the other day. What do you call Yui Istarz would like to enter the conference room..."

And it came to pass into the conference room, and all that was in the conference room looked at each other.

"Yui...... istartz, hey dad. Is it real?

Nor could Malfes, usually floating, accidentally hide his upset after hearing the name of an unexpected person.

"Oh, thank goodness for that. It's a rumored hero."

"Nah..."

Malfes receives Bigsby's affirmation and stiffens on the spot for a moment. And once he swallows his side, and closes his eyes, he is forced to rekindle his usual slight grin and prepare himself for the guests who would come into this room.

"Okay, let me through. I'd like to hear your opinion."

"Dear Kayla!

Having heard the name Yui Istarz, it should be noted that Relim raised his protest when he felt a refusal to invite others to this meeting of their own. But once Kyle shook his head left or right, he could leave her protest.

"That one is undisputed real. This meeting, which takes place every week, has also always made no progress with the repetition of the same opinions. Then you may also want to hear the opinions of those outside. Not to mention the person they call a hero. Now, please let me through."

As Kyle said so loudly to reach the guards outside, the entrance door was revealed and a slightly blue-faced, sloppy man was welcomed into the conference room.

"Hi. I'm Yui Istarz from Clarice. Thank you for your help this time."

Scratching his head, with a bitter laugh and Yui talking like that, Bigsby, who knew he existed, only nodded one thing and didn't change his expression one thing. But he and two other people besides Kyle gazed at Kyle to surprise and confirm the gap between the person in front of them and the heroic statue being spoken of in rumors.

But Kyle smiled when he saw Yui, who was not even looking at such a gaze and was in better shape until he could walk.

"Please sit down, Mr. Yui. There are extra seats there."

Kyle said so, pointing to the empty seat next to Malfest, Yui nodded one thing and slowly lowered his back to that seat.

"Are you really that Yui Istarz?

In response to Yui, who had sat next to him, Malfes asked him so to confirm, with a surprised look on his face.

"Ha, sounds like rumors are getting ahead of us wherever we've been lately. When I look at the real thing, there's a lot you don't believe, but unfortunately, I'm Yui Istarz. Did I disappoint you?

"No, excuse me for this. If Bigsby's father or Kayla says so, you must be the real deal. This is getting interesting."

With that said, Malfes has a favorable grin against Yui. Seeing the sight, Kayla nodded one satisfactorily and raised her voice to resume the meeting.

"Well, we're on our way, but the agenda is what we're going to do. What does Yui think?

"Well, it's hard to say because I haven't listened to you guys before, but if you're willing to fight, you'd better hurry."

In response to Yui's statement, when Lerim, who was cautiously arguing, opens his eyes, he bites abruptly, just saying he doesn't want outsiders to say what he likes.

"Why is that? It's just reckless to rush into the mullah scene with insufficient preparation. Or will you clean up the soldiers of the king's capital by yourself, just like you did with the empire?

"Ha, you can't do that. Unfortunately, I can't speak such grand language because I've just been transported with a painful look in my eyes"

Yui grins vaguely as she takes over the momentum. Then Bigsby, who had remained silent since Yui was invited indoors, opens his mouth.

"Then why should you rush?"

"That's because it's time for the time limit to come"

Briefly, when Yui says so, Bigsby gets the look of a question mark and asks Yui for an explanation.

"Time limit? What is it?"

It's the king's life.

"Become..."

Once again, when Yui mentioned the light answer, those who were in the conference room accidentally complained about the contents. And after a slight suspension of thought, Lerim stuffed him towards Yui, with anger.

"What the hell are you talking about? I have no idea what that means. It is true that His Majesty is falling ill, but how do you know His Majesty's condition?"

On that sword screen, Yui stuck his hands forward and appealed to her to calm down as he was brought to the chair to get some distance.

"No, I've never met His Majesty the King, so I don't know the medical condition."

"Then why are you saying that? I wonder if I can magically predict the future."

Lerim, who doesn't like other people very much, told Yui so sarcastically, Yui scratched his head like he was weak.

"Ha, I can barely use magic, so I don't have any magic to predict the future. All I can do is anticipate the future, guided by circumstantial evidence."

"Forecasting the future…? Mr. Yui, can you tell us why you came to that conclusion?

In response to Yui with a bitter laugh, Kyle asked to present the basis for his prediction.

"It's not such a big deal. But two years after the fall of His Majesty the King… If His Majesty the King had been assassinated two years ago, was Murasene able to grasp the Rhindle immediately?

"Assassination, my lord!

To Yui's story of careless assumptions, Relim stood up from the chair and stared at him unexpectedly. It was Malfes sitting next to Yui who controlled that one-touch situation.

"Relax, Lerim. It's only a hypothetical story. You don't even need to make such a blind eye. Let me answer your question. [M] I don't know if I could grasp the mura scene, but honestly, I wouldn't have. I think it was over when sovereignty was transferred to the First Prince. If we interfered until then, if we were still dealing with the Murassen, all the local lords would have flipped the flag at once, and he would have been eliminated from the throne of power."

Yui nodded loudly once with a grin at Malfez's more intelligent answer than he looked.

"Exactly. So as of two years ago, His Majesty the King still needed to be alive. But now? Is the presence of His Majesty the King necessary for the present muracious scene, which has steadily consolidated its foundations, using the position of Prime Minister?

Upon Yui's renewed inquiry, understanding what he intended, what was on the spot gave him a look. And as Kyle clouded his expression, he opened his mouth to Yui.

"Mr. Yui... I mean, when it's time for your majesty to be killed, that's what you want to say."

"That sort of thing. If you are going to flip an anti-flag on the Murasene, you should do so during His Majesty's fate. Because His Majesty is destined, some local lords have not determined the colour of the flag, and others are cooperating with you."

Bigsby slowly rebelled Yui's story in his head, slowly moving his heavy lips with a bitter look on his face.

"So you shouldn't assume that the status quo will last forever... Phew, your lord is right. We think His Majesty may have turned a blind eye to the possibility of that loss of life."

"I don't have a choice. I don't even want to think about the possibility of my men or my godchildren losing their lives."

Following Bigsby's story, Yui felt so comforted as he shook his head as he floated into his brain the appearance of the people involved in him.

"... Well, I'm thinking that much, don't you have any ideas?

"Ha, I was about to be offered and wondered how I'd cut it out, but that would help if you could ask me that. Well, you can think of it as an outside opinion and listen to me."

In Malfez's peeking gaze, Yui began to speak of his own proposed operation when he prefaced so.

"It will take some preparation to do the way I think. As a first step, Kyle, in your real name, will you send a message to local lords everywhere urging them to decide?"

"... you still noticed"

"The main reason I tried to use a pseudonym is because I spoke a similar name, but other than that, I had actions and conversations that were unlikely to be in your shoes."

"When I first named him, I thought I'd done it, so I'm going to do it through carefully afterwards... well, it's good that it's past. What more sentences should I write than that?

Kyle gave a student like expression pointing out a mistake to the teacher for a moment, but quickly switched his expression to something serious.

"Whatever. That's all you need, as long as it's a text that eventually encourages armed beeping"

"But where I sent such a sentence, few would actually stand up. Your attempt to confront the Muraseen with your local lords on your side is nothing more than an aerospace theory on the machine being interpreted. Besides, if there were a snitch among the lords, our counter-attack operations would be lightly exposed, so I wonder what such a cheap way would be?

Yui scratched his head twice as weak in his objection, which contained the thorns of Relim.

"That's all right. This operation must rather make the mura scene realize that there is such a move. So the presence of insiders is rather convenient."

"Can you explain what that means?"

To Yui's story, which had no purpose, Bigsby asked for an explanation, wrinkling between his eyebrows.

"Yeah, the purpose of sending this letter is one thing. It's about spreading mullah scene alert to the region. Muracene herself, still does not contain all of the local lords, and there are numerous lords who are against him. Even if they didn't decide, Muracene would have to break the central soldier into regions in order to restrain them. If some local lord in the mood actually raised a soldier or showed a defiant attitude to some applause, that would be a lifetime, but I don't dare expect that much."

As Yui lightly explained the intent of the operation, Bigsby's expression gradually began to float the color of understanding, and he nodded heavily once.

"Hmm, you mean making the center thin? Sure, that's not a bad way. But our numbers are still significantly smaller than the manipulative Royal Army of the Murasene. I don't think that's a bad idea."

"Yeah, if you get bumped from the front, you won't have a single pile of soldiers as much as you've had some reduction. So, as a second stage, we will destroy government buildings, etc. in the city, causing noise. We have led soldiers from the King's City into the royal palace for as long as we have the resistance."

When Yui cut the words there, Malfes exhaled loudly once and spoke the question, as he confirmed towards Yui.

"... I get the story. Use the example passage for this purpose. Even when we had to, we were considering going backwards through the aisle with Kayla's permission. Even if it did work, there are numerous guards stationed inside the Royal Palace, including Kingsguards. What I say about the former Kingsguard Captain, they are not like the Gorotsuki people that Murashen has gathered recently. Even if your strategy of dispersing enemies worked, what would you do with them?

"Well, as I said, that's where the last difficulty comes in. So I want to render them as powerless as I can...... Now I ask you, who were the Kingsguard commanders, which side would the troops say Kingsguard take if His Majesty and the Chancellor were in conflict?

In response to the question, Malfes opened his mouth after pondering his chin beard slightly.

"Well... I don't know. It is true that the Kingsguard was originally under the direct command of His Majesty the King and that there are far more admirers of His Majesty than other troops. I just don't know if there's anyone to stick with the murky scene if the murky scene is this wide... haha, are you willing to put the prince forward and put the Kingsguard on your side? Sure, he's weaker than His Majesty, but the guy who follows me here, he could be in there. I see, it's a somewhat risky proposal, but is that also possible?"

He was a malfest who answered with considerable confidence, but the man sitting next to him shook his head left and right lightly, denying his predictions.

"No, I won't take that uncertain way. Let me now explain a specific draft operation. Well, before I do, I'd like to ask you one thing."

In Yui's sudden inquiry, the three men on the spot gave a strange look, but Bigsby, an elderly man, urged Yui to go ahead.

"What is it? Say it."

"Thank you. Then let me ask you sweetly in your words, can you tell me the exact location and date of the fall of His Majesty the King two years ago?

Scratching their heads, the three of them looked at each other unexpectedly, with a surprising look on their faces, in response to Yui's question, which had nothing to do with the flow of the conversation.
