At noon the day after the three promised to look into Azwell, Reyce finally arrived in the Semi Room after a lengthy regular lecture in the Army Department and a halfway break from lunch.

"It's late, Reis!

From the beginning of the lunch break, Emily, who had been waiting all along in the Semi Room, stared at him as Reis came in late.

"Oh, I'm sorry. After class was delayed, the purchasing was crowded and the wings lined up so much to buy one loaf of bread. So, have you guys eaten yet?

"Pretty much. You're just too late. Aren't you starting to look a little like Dr. Yui lately?

To Emily's point, Reyce laughs unexpectedly. Since his assignment, Yui has been late for most lectures, so the designation of a late hero, not a rescue hero, was already quietly spreading among students.

"I don't want to resemble you there...... because Dr. Yui is Roos"

"… well we don't have time, let's move on to our original purpose"

Emily thought she couldn't help talking about Yui's late habits any more, and after a breath, she cut to the point.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Then start with Emily."

"Okay. I'm talking about Professor Azwell, but lately his very existence has not been known, but until a while ago, he was known to his students as a ghost professor."

"Professor Ghost?

Hearing an unheard call, Reyce asked Emily back as she wrinkled between her eyebrows.

"Yeah, it's Professor Azwell's name. He used to coach students very occasionally, and that's what they called him because he rarely showed up. Most recently, it seems that students are not coaching at all, so they are even stuck in their rooms and doing research. Plus, I don't think there's any other budget meetings."

"Well, Professor Hikikomori looks better."

When Reis simmered so much with a half laugh, Anna shook her doubts with a bare gesture that seemed uninterested in such a call.

"I don't care what you call it... you're just so drawn to it, and you're still not necked. Isn't that a little weird?

When Anna raises that question, I do think so, and Emily unexpectedly agrees.

"It's weird indeed. Does that mean you're doing research that's worth it?

"When it comes to research, it's not like it's actually ready for use in the military. The story I've been hearing seems to be looking into the formation of this world and how it interacts with magic, so called basic research. But would something like that help? I don't know how plain it is, but I'd like more researchers to do research like Burn or Dokan."

"... haven't you been muscular to your head lately?

"I don't know, 'cause I've been slapped lately...'" Emily rubbed her head and gave her an unpleasant look as she thrust into Reis. Seeing that look, Anna opened her mouth just to say it was her turn next as she sighed in fright.

"Then I'm next. My listening, Professor Azwell is like a man in his fifties, always in white, sleeping in a lab. And here's what I was wondering, actually, until about seven years ago, there was a Semi student at Professor Azwell's. But from one day on, it was like there was a sudden loss of Semi students, and then no one had a godchild."

"What, wait a minute... he's suddenly gone?

Emily was surprised at Anna's story, which was somewhere similar to this one, and she stepped out and listened back unexpectedly.

"Yes, there used to be Semi Raw, but he suddenly disappeared. Something resembles this one, doesn't it?

"Sure, that's suspicious..."

Emily suspects that the story of the disappearance of Semi Raw seven years ago and this kidnapping could lead to a connection, and thinks on the spot.

"So, what do we do now? Professor Azwell was out in public a long time ago, so if we were to go and hear more about it, we'd have to go to the old stock teacher who's been here a long time, right? But he looks like someone who doesn't originally have quite the contact with others, and who should I ask..."

Anna was troubled by the next hand, and as the end of the story grew weaker, she stood up on the spot like Reis flashed.

"That's right! Dr. Yui used to be a student here. Why don't you ask Dr. Yui?

"Don't be silly. If we do that, we won't know what we're investigating. Besides, if Professor Azwell asked me why I had my eyes on you, what would you say?

When Emily didn't let me out lightly, I gently sat in the chair, holding my head when I put my elbows on my desk, as if the momentum I got up was a lie.

"That's... right. If so, you can't even Dr. Lute or Master Alex..."

"Of course I do. We didn't start an investigation to solve this case ourselves without relying on those people... well, this is the time and it's a frontal breakthrough! Let's go directly to Professor Azwell."

Neither Anna nor Reis could hide their surprise at Emily's sudden suggestion not to.

"Yeah! Are you serious?

"I mean it. So, can you come up with any other way?

Reis, when Emily told him so, couldn't come up with an alternative proposal and slipped his gaze softly.

"No, I don't..."

"Then you'll have to go. When you're in trouble, act first. That's all you got."

"Ha, fine. Let's hang out. I can't think of any other good ideas. And just in case Professor Azwell was up to something, maybe the three of us would be safe."

While Anna was frightened, when she agreed with Emily's suggestion, Emily had a full grin and rose out of her chair.

"Then hurry up, goodness. Let's get on our way!

The three left the Semi room and headed outside the separate building of the school building. There was a room there where people usually didn't stop by, and rumors were it was Azwell's Semi Room.

The three took some time to reach the outskirts of the school building, where there was an unpopular dim room on their right, and all three were convinced that the rumored room was this one.

"Right here... so what?

When Reis, who was walking in the lead, looked back and asked him so with a slight lack of confidence, Emily answered Reis, as she was frightened.

"Whatever you say, just tell me to talk to you normally."

"Yes, but I don't know what to cut out..."

Emily made harsh pointers to Reis these days when she sent a frightened gaze against Reis, whose tone grew weaker and weaker.

"Something tells me you've been laced lately and have a middle-aged phobia? If it was before, you wouldn't mind that, you'd be riding in grandiose, wouldn't you?

"Don't call me middle-aged phobia. The masters are only in their twenties. I mean, if I find out what you're talking about middle-aged... Ugh..."

When Rais suddenly held his head to see something about his unhappy future, he began to tremble. The other two, with a frightened look, opened their mouths when Emily was ready.

"In the meantime, Reis won't be used, so I'll go. I told you so."

When Emily said that, she knocked on that classroom door three times and raised her voice toward the room.

"Excuse me, is Professor Azwell here?

After a few silences, when the three of them confirm that nothing returns, they look at each other.

"You haven't replied..."

"I knew we'd go home, I'm sure he's away today. Why don't we just go back out there?"

"No, the other way around. If you're away, this is your chance!

Emily, asserting so with a strong feeling, laid her hands on the door of the room and opened it as it was.

"Oh, hey Emily, wait!

In a hurry, Reis speaks to Emily, but Emily ignores that voice and enters the room. And more than a dozen seconds later, when he came out of the entrance door again, he called on the two of them.

"Come in. There's nobody in there."

When Anna and Reyce looked at each other, they decided that they had no choice but to look around carefully before stepping into the room.

"What the hell. Wow, hiccup."

The moment I stepped into the room, books and paperwork were overflowing throughout the room, and it was precisely in a situation where there was no foot trail.

"Really. Is it really this room that Professor Azwell uses? As far as this goes, it's just a warehouse where books and paperwork are kept, which I don't think is very much the room people use..."

Anna moves forward one foot at a time toward the center of the room with the book at her feet one at a time. However, if one step, the pile of books next to him collapsed, and if two steps were taken, the bundle of documents in front of him seemed to be scattered, and when they noticed, in the sea of books and documents in the room, they were unable to move.

The three of them think there's nothing they can do about it as it is, and they clean up a pile of books and paperwork that they have no choice but to scatter on the edge one by one. Sudden anger echoed on the spot as the entrance door was suddenly opened at a time not long after the start of the work.
