Chapter 737 Hal, Seaside City

When the Sinestro Legion fled in embarrassment and the leader Sinestro was imprisoned on OA planet again, on the distant earth, another man who should have been great but was unknown because of various distances was sitting on a ruined wall daze.

Hal Jordan, Yellow Lantern, former Seaside resident.

He stared blankly at the rapidly rebuilding city, feeling a great sense of strangeness.

This was no longer his seaside town, no longer his city.

Back then, Mongol and the mechanical superman destroyed the seaside city, and eight million residents became innocent victims. Hal survived by luck, and was possessed by the parallax monster that came from the depths of the universe, killing the mechanical superman in one fell swoop.

Even though this city has been rebuilding rapidly, even though a large number of residents are pouring in here every day, this completely strange city has nothing to do with Hal anymore.

"Fortunately, at least I have Carol..."

Hal sat on a precarious abandoned building, staring blankly at the seaside city full of construction sites.

At least his lover Carol also survived, or transformed into a superhuman with super serum.

But some things are lost forever after all.

Hal rubbed the yellow light ring on his finger, the power of fear lingered in his heart, silent crying was sounding, singing a low-pitched symphony.

He took the ring Donnie gave him and became a Lantern.

Although this result is not very good, it is the best choice in the worst situation.

Hal watched the city silently, without saying a word.

The night wind blows, and the little lights are lit up, like candles in the wind, as if they will go out at any time. Compared with the metropolis with a population of 8 million in the past, the current seaside city is far worse.

Everything has changed.

Puff!

In the dim night, arcs flickered and moved rapidly. Hal didn't even need to look to know that the cliff was being torn by a few speedsters from the city next door.

The Flash, Reverse Flash, and Smoke Screen, the three of them are always like this, tearing up every now and then, and their speed is astonishing, thousands of times the speed of sound at every turn, and they can easily kill from one end of the earth to the other.

Although in Hal's eyes, the mere thousands of times the speed of sound is no different from slag, when he moves in space, he surpasses the speed of light every minute.

"It's time to go back."

Hal hesitated again and again, stroking the ring on his finger, the yellow luster pierced people's hearts, and the halo of fear kept jumping, but he still didn't do anything in the end.

He conceived a crazy plan to rebuild Seaside City with all-powerful emotional energy, as he had once done.

Using the yellow light ring, following his own memory, he crazily built fear buildings and streets...

But he still didn't do it.

Carol is still alive, and he is still waiting for him on Cybertron. He has lost too much, and he doesn't want to lose Carol again.

The yellow light beam rose, and Hal looked back at Seaside City for the last time, sighed silently, and flew lonely into space, to the star Cybertron.

There is his home.

Numerous planets flew by, Hal crossed countless galaxies, intersected with countless planets, and returned to Cybertron from Earth in less than half a day.

The first thing he did when he returned was to find Donnie.

"I've already thought it through." Hal lowered his head and said in a low voice.

"I've been waiting for you, Hal. I'm glad you made this decision. You didn't disappoint me."

Downey patted Hal on the shoulder and smiled: "Although I brought you out of the earth, I also respect your decision. Time will prove that your choice is correct."

Hal nodded silently.

Neither of them said what the specific "choice" was, but they were tacit to each other.

Hal is faced with two choices, either desperate to stay in Seaside City again, or continue to be a resident of Cybertron with Carol.

Maybe even Hal didn't realize it.

What a difference he made in this decision.

In the original book, Hal returned to the earth after getting the green light ring. He lost everything, so he was so crazy that he wanted to use the green light ring to rebuild the seaside city. Snatch more green light rings, and even snatch the central light furnace.

He also went on a killing spree against the rest of the Green Lantern Corps, killing many of them.

The thorn in the seaside city was planted from the moment it was destroyed. Although Downey can easily bring down the mad Hal, there are some things that only matter in the result.

Hal's choice to return to Cybertron is undoubtedly the best choice, and it is also the result Downey hopes to see.

"I'm very relieved, son, go and say hello to your Uncle Hal, he will protect you from now on."

Donnie slapped Duzun on the back of the head, in the gesture of a father slapping his son, ordering Duzun to say hello to Hal.

"What? Don't try to humiliate me! Don't think that you can do whatever you want just because you are my father!"

Duzun flew into a rage, flung the red cloak behind him viciously, and straightened his back proudly.

Hal frowned, and glanced at Du Zun: "Aren't you Clark?"

Clark would never be full of bad words, let alone be so irritable. As for his father... Hal automatically ignored it.

"I'm the only one! It's a great anti-matter superpower! Compared with me, the superman of your main universe is a piece of rubbish!" The only one sneered and said arrogantly.

boom!

boom!

Donnie kept his composure, and kicked Duzun flying with a kick. With such great force, Duzun flew out like a cannonball, easily smashed through the floors of the building, and flew to the outside world.

"Children are not well-educated. You are laughing at me." Downey smiled.

Hal: "..."

It seems that he was reminiscing about the past days on the earth, and something extraordinary happened, it was amazing.

"There is one thing you need to do, Hal, I need more troops, the Yellow Lantern Corps alone is not enough." Downey said.

"What do you need me to do, just tell me."

"Get more rings and form more Lantern Ring Corps. You are a genius, born with super sensitivity to the emotional spectrum, and there is absolutely no need to limit your future to a single yellow light ring."

Downey said something and handed the latest plan to Hal.

Hal quickly browsed through it, showing a surprised expression: "Spectrum War? A civil war among the seven legions?"

"If we don't do it, we will be preempted by others. The best way is to take the lead and find a way to occupy more." Downey said lightly.
