Tou no Madoushi

Episode 11: The Girl with the Dim Laugh

Lynn and Theo used to come to the cafeteria during work breaks as usual.

Renlil's cheapest dining room, Kitchen Gmorrier, is still crowded today.

Lynn and Theo try to find an empty seat, but it's hard to find.

Looks like I'm totally late for the lunch seating competition.

"Lynn! Theo! Over here."

I can hear you calling Lynn and Theo from the corner of the dining room.

There was a threesome there in a crimson robe.

A tall boy is waving at Lynn and Theo.

"Mr. Agle!

Lynn rushed toward the threesome. They had secured two empty seats in addition to their seats. He was taking a seat for Lynn and Theo. Since passing the exam, the two of them started dining with them, college students, and were adored.

Having passed the exam, Lynn and Theo had a little free time between April and college classes starting with nothing to do but work.

So Lynn decided to talk to a bunch of crimson robes she'd seen a lot in the dining room for a long time.

They often came down from the College District to the city of Renlil to dine in the dining room.

Lynn, who had been concerned about them for a long time, tried to talk to them thoughtfully.

"Um, college students, right? I've been attending college since April, too. Would you like to join us for dinner?"

They welcomed Lynn and Theo with pleasure and took care of all that and all. And he was bothering to take a seat for both of us today. So.

"Lynn. Sit over here. Theo, you're over there."

"Yes."

Of the three college students, Sheila, a slurring body-shaped girl with long dark hair, instructs Lynn to sit next to herself and Theo to sit in the opposite seat. Lynn and Theo honestly followed Sheila's instructions.

"But you guys are a big deal. I can't believe you passed that exam at once."

Graduate student of disappointed stature, Agulu says as impressed.

"No, it's no big deal."

Theo answered lovingly.

"Me and Sheila both failed the exam twice. It was about Elios who received it in one go. See?"

"I was just lucky."

College student with a calm atmosphere, Ellios smiles as troubled as he is told the story.

He was the leader of this group. Lynn was attracted to the serene atmosphere of his powerful but not insisting strongly on it.

"Nevertheless, it's going to be tough. College classes can't be a glimmer."

"Ellios is an honorary student at the academy," Agr told me to make tea again.

"That's right. I've never seen you struggle in a college class. It's up on a yearly basis. Unlike us," says Sheila, like she messed with it.

"Don't lift me too much. I know best that I haven't yet. There's a top up there. Theo and Lynn will know as soon as they come to the academy."

"Oh, yeah. The academy is full of amazing guys. Prepare yourselves."

Agulu had somewhere to change her opinion. It contrasts well with the calm Ellios around here.

Theo glanced at Lynn. Just saying get to the point quickly.

"Well, I looked into it, but in college, you pick your own classes."

"Oh, yeah. It's hard to see when you make a mistake in choosing a subject" An agle that jumps at anything when it comes to a new topic quickly ate up.

"Oh, my God, Sheila, you've had such a hard time taking an unfortunate class in your first year."

"Stop it. I don't even want to remember."

"Especially if you need to pay attention to a class that needs billing," Elios tells you to nail it.

"Billing? Do you have a class that gets extra money in addition to tuition?" Theo asks in surprise.

"Oh, there are many types of college classes. Some of them are not only annual tuition fees, but classes you can't take unless you charge extra. But this is the trouble. I've got a lot of poor quality classes for the price."

"Heh."

"It would be wise to leave the first year for classes at no extra charge anyway."

"There's a lot of terrible things about uncharged classes. Sheila, this is another unfortunate class in my second year..."

"That's enough."

Sheila slapped Agle on the shoulder.

"Better keep the basic magic class early," Ellios returned to the conversation.

"Oh, yeah. Basic magic is important."

"Basic magic? what is it"

"It's about the five most basic magic systems that govern modern magic. Light magic, mechanical magic, warcraft, metal magic, spiritual magic. Better keep classes on these early. Most of them are chargeless classes, and if these foundations are solid, other applied classes will progress in understanding. I guess the basic magic related classes you can take from the first year are about ring magic, fairy magic, metallurgical magic, mass magic."

(You've got a lot to think about.)

Lynn thought all she had to do was get into college, but she seemed to have to change her mind.

"Lynn, this is delicious. Eat more. Theo, you've had enough."

Sheila pulls the large plate of dishes away from Theo and leaves it to Lin's plate.

"Ah, yes. Thank you."

"Oh, Lynn. I have sauce on my mouth. I'll take it for you. Theo, you wipe yourself."

Sheila carefully wipes the leftovers on Lynn's mouth with her own handkerchief.

Lynn blushes but sweetens Sheila's generosity. I won't do anything to Theo.

Agr frowned at Sheila's blatant attitude.

"Sheila, are you being tough on Theo?

You could say it's sweet on Lynn.

Ellios added.

"Because Theo is not a cute thing. Compared to when it comes to Lynn's bullying."

Sheila pulls Lynn's head toward her chest and hugs her.

Lynn blushed feeling something soft pressed against her head.

Sheila was only a girl in her late teens but from Lynn's point of view she was an adult enough woman.

"Uh, somehow that. I feel discriminated."

Theo makes it go away.

"Right, Sheila. It's not very popular with younger people."

Agr tuned in to Theo.

Sheila stares at Theo with her eyes narrowed as she explores.

"Theo, you're not cute to your younger ass. Because the other two can't delude me but my eyes. Your businesslike, clever nature is foreseeable. You have no respect for us."

"That's not true. I have a good respect for Sheila."

That's what Theo says and makes me smile. But the expression was invincible and invincible.

"What do you think? That's suspicious."

Lynn was heartbroken when she saw Sheila and Theo interacting. Because what Sheila said was a star. Lynn had unconditional respect for them just because she was older and a senior in the college, but Theo didn't mind that.

Theo hangs out with them only to hear which subjects and credits are important in the college and how they can progress in their favor.

Lynn knew about it because she heard Theo say "those guys are no big deal" every now and again in their absence.

"Ha, ha. You must be busy and reliable. He's not even in college yet, but he's a junior who looks down on us."

Agle makes you laugh lefty.

"Hum. Fair enough."

Sheila missed the suspicious gaze she was turning to Theo. Lynn is horny. Theo continues to eat with a steady attitude.

I'm being used by Theo.

Lynn didn't think so either.

But I thought that was all right.

Theo can hear about the unit, Lynn can be adorable to seniors, and he can make conveniences for his friends. The seniors don't seem to be admired by the younger ones either.

We're all happy.

So I thought that would be fine.

"It's time."

Ellios casts a spell and makes the watch appear.

They started the afternoon class.

All five got up.

"You guys are going to be at the college entrance ceremony, right?

"Yes, I'm going to go get my robe from the club."

"Right. Then we'll go together until we're on our way."

Lynn and Theo went with the threesome to the association, where they broke up. The three of them seemed to ride in another elevator.

"Lynn. Say goodbye for a while. I miss you."

Sheila embraces Lynn with regret.

She says Sheila cares about Lynn specially because she resembles her brother in her hometown.

Lynn also admired her with Lynn, so I hugged her back.

Sheila continued to stare at Lynn cut with a lonely face even after she left.

As usual, I did nothing in particular to Theo.

"Don't worry about it, Theo. Sheila really likes you, too."

Agle slaps Theo on the back and cheers him up.

"Huh? Oh, yes"

Theo didn't look particularly concerned with Theo either.

"Then we'll go. Lynn, Theo. See you at the academy next time."

Ellios tightens the place and the three of them walk away.

Lynn kept looking in the direction they walked away for a while until she couldn't see the three backs.

Theo looked back at Lynn when the three of them were out of sight and said:

"You know what? It's no big deal. They're the ones, right?

Lynn smiled vaguely like she was in trouble.

To be honest, I wasn't sure what the big deal was, but I just said, "Right."

Lynn and Theo receive a deep-red robe that is a testament to college students at church reception.

The two quickly weave their feathers from the top of their everyday clothes and try to fasten the gold clasp.

Despite wearing it for the first time, the robe fitted the two bodies perfectly.

Apparently, the magical powers are working.

Lynn felt somewhat closer to an adult just wearing this robe, a college uniform.

From now on, you are allowed to walk all over the tower wearing this robe.

He has finally taken the first step toward becoming a coveted magician.

Let's go to college.

Lynn and Theo get in the elevator differently than they always do. Unlike the cage-shaped ones I've been riding, they were box-shaped ones with all sides firmly surrounded by walls.

Hands over the magic board installed in the elevator and the back of your hand begins to glow. It was evidence that the elevator certified Lynn as a graduate student.

"Fiftieth floor, to the entrance to the college!

When Lynn cast the spell, the elevator moved up vigorously.

Lynn waited still to arrive on the fiftieth floor as she leaped her chest into the new life she was about to wait for.

"Damn. Why did the elevator bother building a staircase?"

After arriving on the fiftieth floor, Lynn and Theo were up the stairs leading to the entrance to the College.

I'm on my feet with Theo poisoning me.

In fact, the more I wanted to poison it, the longer the stairs were.

The entrance to the College is temple style and cannot be reached without climbing the long stairs.

The two walked up the stairs, letting their breath out.

Lynn turned to the end of the stairs.

At the end of the stairs awaits a large temple-style entrance and a stone statue of the archdeacon, Gaelias.

The statue of Gaelias, like that seen in the square, points a harsh look at the visitor.

Lynn somehow remembered Atrea.

"Theo, we're almost there. Good luck."

Lynn looked back at Theo and cheered him up where he said he would reach in a few moments.

"Oh. You finally made it this far, Mr. Dobrat?

Lynn was hacked by the voice of the girl who suddenly came down from above. If you look up there, there's someone in front of the statue of Gaelias.

(Atrea?)

Lynn stares at the girl in front of the statue thinking she's Atrea.

But there she was, a blonde girl with a silver clasp on the same deep red robe as Lin and the others.

He has a cold thin smile on his face.

(This kid... he's noble)

Lynn looked at the silver clasp and intuitively thought so.

"Well, you worked hard for the civilians. But from here on out, you're not as good as you've ever been."
