“What did you find?”

Pu Yunmo did not understand what Chen Feng meant after hearing what he said.

“I tracked the elemental traces they left behind and found the team’s current location,” Chen Feng said calmly.

“Are…we going to avenge the French team?”

Park Yunmo scratched his head.

To him, this was a completely unnecessary step.

After all, they were under special circumstances right now. The most important thing they should do was to obtain enough [Barrow’s Souls] as soon as possible. They needed to survive first.

To his surprise, Chen Feng shook his head.

“We’ll look for them to retrieve the [Barrow’s Souls] that rightfully belong to us.”

“At the same time, we can…take revenge.”

Pu Yunmo immediately reacted to his words. He smacked his head and said, “That makes sense.”

Since the other party was able to wipe out an entire team from the [Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets], that meant that they were definitely not weak. Furthermore, they were ruthless in their attacks. They must have collected quite a number of [Barrow’s Souls].

Instead of wandering around like headless flies in the forest, it would be better for Chen Feng and the others to chase after them.

At the very least, they would be able to snatch the [Barrow’s Souls] that belonged to the team from the [Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets].

“You’re the captain. We’ll listen to you!”

Park Yunmo said seriously. Sakurai Longzi and Blake nodded as well.

Chen Feng nodded. The magical elements in his hands erupted, forming a complicated array that emitted a dazzling light in the air.

“Summon Spell!”

Soon after, a graceful figure slowly stepped out of the teleportation array.

It was Jana, the Fury of Storm.

The moment Jana appeared, all the members of the team felt a cool sensation surge through their bodies. Their bodies turned weightless and floated up in the air.

This was the passive skill of Jana, the Fury of Storm. Any teammate next to her would receive a speed boost.

Everyone chased after Chen Feng with mobility greatly increased.

“Based on the aura of the battle earlier, only a few minutes have passed since they left. They can’t have gone too far in such a short time.”

Pu Yunmo and Sakurai Longzi discussed softly along the way.

Meanwhile, Chen Feng, who was standing beside them, was completely focused on using his mental energy to track down the whereabouts of the team that had left just now.

“Stop!”

Chen Feng raised his hand. The four of them immediately stopped.

“What’s wrong?” Pu Yunmo asked curiously.

“We’ve fallen into a trap,” Chen Feng said with narrowed eyes.

“A trap?”

Before they could finish, their surroundings suddenly changed. All the trees disappeared. They were then replaced by a thin layer of white fog.

It looked like the fog that drifted over the Japanese ocean, but it was a little thinner.

“Be careful!” Chen Feng warned.

He sensed that it would not be easy to deal with the opponent this time around. It was no wonder that they were able to wipe out an entire team from the [Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets].

It would be a joke if he was not careful and ended up dying in such a person’s hands.

However, there was no response after Chen Feng finished speaking.

“Crap…”

Chen Feng’s brows furrowed as he seemed to realize something.

He slowly turned around and realized that there was no one behind him.

Pu Yunmo, Sakurai Longzi, and Blake were not there.

They were all gone!

“Is it because of this trap?”

Chen Feng released his mental energy and extended it into the fog. However, he discovered that his mental energy was blocked by the thin layer of fog.

“Even mental power cannot penetrate it?”

Just as Chen Feng tried looking for a solution, the sound of footsteps approached from afar.

Tap, tap, tap…

There was someone in the fog.

Chen Feng was not afraid. He quietly waited for his opponent to appear instead.

“Oh? Are you Chinese?”

A woman’s voice rang out from the fog.

Chen Feng looked forward with interest upon hearing this charming voice.

Evidently, this fog was created by this unknown team.

A woman in a red dress slowly walked out of the mist.

She had golden hair, fair skin, and a tall and slender figure.

“Yeah…she’s my type.”

Chen Feng smiled after seeing her.

Chen Feng preferred the mature woman in front of him as compared to Sakurai Longzi’s pure and seductive image as a girl-next-door, .

“A mature woman…is the best choice!”

“Aren’t you worried at all?” The woman’s gentle voice resonated in Chen Feng’s ears.

“Why should I panic when I see a beauty like you?” Chen Feng smiled.

He walked forward without a care, and he soon found himself a meter away from the woman. Their eyes met.

“We are alone in such a deserted place. Shouldn’t…you be the one panicking instead?”

Chen Feng raised his eyebrows slightly to reveal a teasing expression.

“You sure are brave.”

The woman stretched lazily. She did not hide her good figure at all. It exuded a sense of temptation.

However, Chen Feng clearly did not buy it.

After all, he had lived two lives. Even though he appeared to be in his twenties, his mental age was at least thirty-five.

Of course, he would not be so easily attracted to her.

Furthermore, although this woman was mature, charming, and exactly the type that Chen Feng liked, her attractiveness was still lacking compared to someone like Sakurai Longzi, who had a special talent.

“Did you guys kill the team from the [Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets]?”

They finally cut to the chase after the flirting session ended. Chen Feng asked her his question calmly.

“Guess, little brother.”

The woman smiled charmingly, but she had no intention of answering his question.

“Don’t call me that. I’m much older than you,” Chen Feng sneered and shook his head.

“I don’t believe you.”

The woman was sure about Chen Feng’s identity now. “So… you guys are from [Pavilion of Heavenly Secrets]. Are you here to take revenge for that team?”

“Haha, it was indeed you guys who killed them.”

Both of them were smiling, but the murderous intent in their hearts could not be hidden.

Just as the both of them were locked in a stalemate, a loud noise rang out from the fog. A giant bear roared.

The woman looked at Chen Feng with a smile and said teasingly, “Your companion seems to be in a battle.”

When Chen Feng heard the bear’s roar, he immediately understood that Blake must be engaged in battle with the other team.

“Are you…that confident? My teammates are very strong,” Chen Feng asked with a smile.

“Of course.” The woman said without a hint of worry. “Since we have the courage to set up a trap here to ambush you, we naturally have absolute confidence in winning.”

“Are you confident that you can go against me?”

Chen Feng asked suspiciously.

“That might…not apply to you.” The woman shook her head slightly. “We do not have absolute confidence in dealing with you because I can sense a dangerous aura from you. Therefore, we decided to kill your teammates before dealing with you.”

Chen Feng nodded after hearing what she said.

The other team seemed to be supported by a strong force since they were able to say such words so confidently.

That meant that Sakurai Longzi and the others could encounter danger at any time.

“I can’t continue doing this with you.” Chen Feng sighed.

“I was actually enjoying our time alone.”

The moment he said that, a faint golden light appeared under Chen Feng’s feet and he disappeared before the woman could react to everything that had happened.
