The villain's side of the novel

64 The Royal party---4---The Queen

Zina, lost in deep thought over Fray's words, failed to notice that their conversation had attracted the attention of many people. As she snapped back to reality, she found herself surrounded by a small group of attendees eager to establish a good relationship with the Parada family.

"Hello, Mr. Parada. We apologize for the delayed welcome; we didn't realize you had arrived," one person said.

"Yes, Mr. Parada, we deeply regret the trouble caused by that wicked woman. We hope you can forgive the negligence of the Lionar Kingdom," another person added.

Fray calmly took a sip of his drink and replied, "It's alright, no harm done." In truth, Fray had intended to keep a low profile until the action began. However, it seemed that his plan was no longer feasible. Not only was he already surrounded by the initial group, but several other dignitaries were also eyeing him, waiting for an opportunity to approach and meet him. While most of the attendees despised Fray due to his recent actions in the Lionar Kingdom, there were still those interested in establishing ties with the influential Parada family. After all, the Parada family was one of the Six Ancient Families and possessed many powerful resources, including the highly popular organic fertilizer on the continent. As this was a friendly gathering, Fray didn't want to create a scene and had no choice but to engage in conversations with the guests for an extended period.

Meanwhile, Zina had been pushed back by the crowd, her expression growing stiff as she realized, "Oh no! I forgot to tell him what I wanted to say." Zina understood that it would be impossible to talk to Fray in front of all these people, and it would be challenging to separate him from the group now. After a moment of contemplation, she decided to navigate her way through the guests and disappeared into the crowd, wearing a complex expression on her face.

"What should we do now?" Aslan asked, observing the large group surrounding Fray.

"It seems we'll have to wait until he's alone," Luke replied softly. The matter they wished to discuss with Fray was too sensitive to be addressed in public. They knew it would be challenging to convince Fray to follow them to a quieter place, so it was best to wait until the crowd dispersed before approaching him.

"Alright, let's try to find Lisa while we wait. She mentioned attending this party," suggested Aslan.

"Agreed. Let's go," Luke responded.

(Aslan! So they followed me here. While it may not significantly affect my plans, it is a tad annoying.) Fray thought, his expression clouded with complexity. Although he had not completely moved on from his feelings for Aslan, Fray no longer allowed his emotions to interfere with his plans. He hoped he wouldn't have to encounter her at this point. However, Fray was no longer the naïve second-rate villain portrayed in the novel. He wouldn't allow his emotions to hinder his goals any longer.

Thus, the crowd continued to flock towards Fray, with even the head of the Kianel family approaching to express his gratitude for saving his son's life. He also expressed his desire to establish a friendly relationship with the Parada family. Despite their attempts, Fray, who had no interest in cultivating relationships with these individuals, responded coldly and arrogantly. This further fueled the guests' disdain for Fray, though none dared to openly display their animosity.

(These fools were once worshipped to such an extent that they become infuriated over minor slights.) Fray mused, calmly observing the hidden resentment in the guests' eyes. Taking another sip of his drink, he muttered under his breath,(This is precisely why I detest attending these types of gatherings.)

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the hall grew hushed as anticipation filled the air. The attendees eagerly awaited the entrance of the esteemed guest, Queen Fozya the Sixth, the revered monarch of the Lionar Kingdom. Suddenly, a commanding voice resonated through the room.

"Attention, please behold the entrance of Lionar Kingdom's Queen, Her Majesty Queen Fozya the Sixth."

All heads turned in unison as the grand double doors swung open, revealing a sight of sheer regality. Queen Fozya made her appearance, exuding an aura of grace and authority. Her golden locks cascaded down her shoulders, framing her captivating features. Draped in an elegant gown adorned with intricate patterns and embellishments, she commanded attention with her every step.

(One of the few warriors who have reached the Ninth Kingdom, Queen of Light, Fozya.) Fray's expression turned serious as he laid eyes upon the beautiful woman with blonde hair and a regal figure, clad in an exquisite, flowing gown. With confident strides, Queen Fozya made her entrance into the hall.

The guests erupted into a chorus of applause, their faces lighting up with admiration and respect. Whispers of admiration filled the room as they marveled at the Queen's beauty and presence. A sense of awe washed over the attendees, for they were in the presence of royalty.

With measured strides, Queen Fozya gracefully traversed the hall, her gaze radiating warmth and kindness. As she moved through the crowd, her path seemed to be paved with reverence and admiration. The attendees eagerly approached her, eager to express their appreciation and offer words of praise.

"Your Majesty, you are a vision of grace and elegance."

"We are honored by your presence, Your Majesty. Thank you for gracing us with your attendance."

"Welcome, Your Majesty. Thank you for your unwavering dedication to the Lionar Kingdom."

The Queen's smile never wavered as she acknowledged the compliments and greetings with humility and gratitude. Her voice carried a soothing timbre as she responded to each well-wisher, her words leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to engage in conversation.

The room came alive with a vibrant energy, basking in the radiance of Queen Fozya's presence. Guests vied for a chance to catch her attention, to exchange a few words or to receive a smile bestowed upon them. It was a momentous occasion, an opportunity to bask in the grace and wisdom of a remarkable ruler.

In the midst of this captivating scene, Fray remained in his corner, observing the spectacle with a mixture of curiosity and intrigue. His gaze lingered on the Queen, noting the air of authority that enveloped her. With a respectful tone and a calm demeanor, he greeted her as she finally approached him.

"Hello, Your Majesty," Fray offered his respectful salutations, acknowledging the powerful figure before him.
