The plain and unnoticed me is no more

88. Don't make me thrill you any more.

Sin told me to tell me a secret, so I thought I'd keep talking secretly in my ear, and I slipped away from me and stared at the door leading to the hallway.

When he asked what had happened to me, Sin pressed his index finger against my lip and held it down with his eyes.

Then he snuck to the front of the door, gently laid his hand on the door knob, and opened the door all at once.

"Hmm?

Then, from the other side of the door, Chiyo fell down in the pose of listening clearly.

Sin caught such a chiyo with one hand without expression and looked down.

"Ehehe, I thought it was time we finished eating, so I came to collect the dishes. But when I came to the door, it was quiet inside, so I wondered if this was a bad time to come in. I mean, yesterday, because I interrupted, Sin and Lana were... mogging."

Sin pressed his mouth and Chiyo couldn't say anything more. Behind Chiyo stood a scattered smile.

"I stopped. Hahahaha...? What did your brother do to the sick Lana?

Even though Taki was smiling, he was wrapped in some cold air. This type is scary when angry. Shin distracted himself from Taki and looked down at Chiyo with wrinkles between his eyebrows.

"... nothing? You saw something wrong, didn't you? Don't be ridiculous, you idiot!

I tried to make an excuse even though my cheeks were pinched with one hand and my mouth looked like a number three.

I hardly knew what it was saying.

"Fufufu, Chiyo, are you here to clean up the dishes? Yes, this is my pleasure."

I handed Chiyo the tray with the dishes I had finished using, and I took Sin's hand off to grab Chiyo's cheek without hesitation.

"Sin, Chiyo is a girl of her age. Don't treat me like this because I'm cute."

Oh, wow.

"Chiyo, you can't say that in public without confirming anything. What if Taki really cares?"

"Yes, I'm sorry"

"Taki doesn't really like Chiyo's remarks, right?

"Yeah, of course I know."

I smiled nicely, turned Chiyo to the right, pushed my back, left it in the hallway, and then closed the door and the pattern.

"Oh, oh, what should I do, Taki? Did you piss me off about Lana? I've bothered you so many times...."

Beyond the door, I heard a voice like this, so I slightly opened the door and showed them my face.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you, but I'm on my way to talking to Singh. So stay away from here until we get out of the room."

When I showed my face again, Chiyo smiled and replied cheerfully to me, then turned his pathetic gaze towards Tilali and Taki.

"Yes! I see. Taki, let's go."

Taki wanted to say something to me, but he smiled a little lonely and followed Chiyo.

"Ah... I'm going to ask you about the two of us, so I wonder if Taki should be with you...?

When I murmured, Sin pushed the door from behind and closed it patently.

"You two were together, right? There are things he hasn't told me yet. Well, let's sit down and have a cup of tea and talk slowly."

"That's right... Ah, sit down? I'm going to refill the tea now."

When I looked back, Sin still held his hand on the door, strangely in a wall-dong position.

Looking up, there was Sin's face right there. Sin also looked down at me, and without knowing what to do, I turned away from the awkwardness.

From yesterday, I feel very close to Sin. Gently staring at me like that makes my chest tickle. You're going to hear the sound of my heart.

Please, don't make me any more excited.

"... it's beautiful. Was your eyelashes the same color as your hair? I hope you stay the way you are, but I don't like it when people find out you're Elaine Norris. I'm looking for him, and I don't know how to help it."

Sin said that, took his hand off the door, turned it around his back to escort me to the table set.

I also felt like I had some sort of shoulder waterfall because I had a little expectation that something like yesterday might happen.

Sin put me in a seat and put tea in handy.

This room has a small kitchen where you can cook as easily as you like, but the hot water I just boiled to make the tea should have been warm a long time ago. However, Sin put the tea in the remaining hot water without re-heating the pot.

Yet the water rises steadily from the cup.

"Sin... isn't it just ice magic you can use? There are other people who can use these two kinds of magic, but I've never heard of ice wizards who can use fire. Who the hell are you?

Sin put the cup at the table and sat in front of me. The expression was calm, and it wasn't like we were going to tell our brothers secrets.

"I'm not anybody. Chef Singh was born in this country. Actually, my grandmother was a very powerful witch... He died before I was born, and I've never met him. Taki and I inherit that power."

An incredibly powerful witch... there's only one person I can think of. That person is a very mysterious existence... But if Singh was talking about him, if the world was alive, Singh and Taki might have been royalty.

Thinking about it, Singh took off the button on the shirt he was wearing and pulled out what was hanging from it.

"Ah! That's..."

I hurried to pick up the obsidian pendant that the priest gave me and put it on the table so that it looked like Singh.

"Hah? Why are you...!? This is Artemis Obsidian. Why do you even have that?

Sin was surprised to compare the obsidian I put on the table with my own obsidian in hand. The design of the pendant top was exactly the same, and the size of the stone was the bigger of Thin's, but from the way it was crafted, there was no doubt that it was made in the same place.

"My great-grandmother was a nobleman of Artemis. This seems to have been worn by my great-grandmother, but I had a priest from the church right there. He thanked me for saving the witch."

"No, but why did the priest..."

"The priest was from Artemis, and he gave it to my great-grandmother when he was evacuating. If you're in trouble, ask me to exchange it for money. But the priest took care of it. Through the priest, my great-grandmother's things came to me. It's a strange edge."

Sin listened to me and seemed so confused by unexpected things. After a while, he looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"Haha... I was going to surprise you, but I was surprised... I suppose the priest thought this was just an amulet. It appears to be a pass to enter the Temple of Artemis. It's the bottom of the water now, and even if you have it, it's really just an amulet."

Pass to enter the temple....? Was my great-grandmother spiritual? I heard that there was no magic, but I've never heard of spiritual power. Artemis was originally a country with many spiritual powers, and his great-grandmother may have served the temple as a witch.

That's why you had this, right? Or did you take care of the witch? I wonder if that one is more likely.

"Hey, is it true that your aunt was a witch with powerful spiritual power and magic, that she was a princess of Artemi...?

Sin nodded and answered.

"I would have been royal if Artemis hadn't sinked in the water. But we're here because the country is gone. If your grandmother hadn't left the country, you might not have existed in this world. It's complicated to think so."

"I see. But there are a lot of people like us. Homeland has been lost, but blood is inherited in this way. It's not all sad."

Sin and Taki were descendants of Artemisian witch princesses. I mean, he's an Artemis royal.

It's only natural that they inherited it because other nations wanted its power and there was a war going on, and that they hid both their spiritual power and their magic.

Now I live in secrecy as a people of this country, but is too much power regarded as the object of fear, or is it enclosed and used? I don't want to be treated like that in this country, but if I look at Sandra's example, I don't know where she's going to fall right now.

If anyone notices my goddess's powers, they'll have no choice but to leave this country and travel and live. I may not be able to, but I'd like you to come with Sin, Taki and Chiyo.

"Sin, thank you for talking to me. I'll keep your secret for the rest of your life. By the way, what was it about keeping a secret from Taki?

"I'm making him think I can only get ice out. Actually, I can do everything just like Grandma. Rather than magic, Taki had a long time to do nothing, right? I didn't want you to be inferior to me. Now I'm starting to regain my confidence thanks to you, and I'm going to tell him soon. So until then, don't tell me.

Singh laughed like a prank and gave me a clumsy wink.

If I can't, I wish I didn't.

Sin's wink almost meditated on both eyes, giving him a glimpse of a chaotic side that he had never seen before.
