The plain and unnoticed me is no more

42. Places of peace and security

Father instructed the soldier who accompanied the blind man to stand before Sandra. Sandra looked at his ugly, melted face with injuries, staring at him and displaying an expression of disgust.

"It's creepy... to fix this... I don't even know what to do. Frederick, help me."

"It's okay, Sandra, you can do it! All you have to do is show it to everyone. Put your hands on the man's eyes and remember that he is cured."

Encouraged by Fredrick, Sandra hated putting her hands on the man's eyes. Then he meditated and thought he had stopped moving for a while, and jumped back and forth.

"What, just now...? Something came out of my hand."

Almost at the same time as Sandra said, the blind soldier slowly opened his eyes.

"I can see... I can see! Wow! It's really healed. Thank you, Madonna! Yes, I can see it. Oh, good to be alive. Now you can see my child's face again...!

What? This is definitely healing magic. I thought you said this woman had no magic, but what's going on? Is this the power of the Virgin? The book says magic is a different power, but it's not really magic. It has healed beautifully only where I touched it with my hands.

The soldier's eyes were healed and the sore part of the shape Sandra was touching was healed.

Father and those gathered here, seeing this, exclaimed, and his uncle looked at Sandra and the soldiers with a stunned expression.

"Oh, isn't it a miracle of the Virgin? This is tough. Let everyone know the Virgin is awake. Frederick, take the Virgin home today. I'm sure you're tired of using unfamiliar force."

Based on your father's reaction, you've forgotten about Lana now. I'll talk to you again tomorrow. I wanted you to scold Frederick for his foolishness and punish him severely, but now that you've seen the miracle of the Virgin who waited, there's no point in saying anything.

Fredrick suddenly laughed when his father took the ministers out of the room with excitement.

"Ha ha ha, Sandra, you were still a saint. I believed it from the beginning. I won't let anyone talk to me anymore."

"Frederick, if you do what you say, you're good. I'm glad. I just didn't know how to use it, so I might have been able to use it for a while. I still can't believe it. Maybe I'll try again. I'll try to make that face more beautiful."

Sandra put her hand on the face of a soldier kneeling down to worship herself and did not move again for a while. But even though I've been doing this for longer than before, there was no indication that the sores on the soldier's face would ever heal.

"That's funny. Did you run out of power?

"Stop today. It was the first time I used my powers. You must be tired."

"Really? I'm totally fine, but it's weird."

Even with all the magic in her body, she's flat rather than falling down. Are you really a saint after all? Doesn't seem to be doing any damage to your body.

"Hey, don't you really feel a burden on your body?

When I spoke, Sandra looked at me with a jittery expression.

"Frederick, who is this guy?

"My wrong brother, Wilfred. One of those who had doubts about you being a saint."

"Hmm, you're a prince. Now you know I'm real, right? But those eyes still seem to doubt me. I thought you were a lovely person, but it's terrible to doubt me."

Doesn't this woman know the difference in status if she doesn't speak the language?

"Isn't that the curative magic you just showed me? At that level, I can do it, as can Hubert, who's there. That's why I don't think it's the power of the Virgin."

I wondered if Sandra had changed the air that was smoothly wrapping around her, but she glanced at me with a tight expression that made me want to ask if it was the face of a weak woman.

"Everyone knows I don't have magic! I showed you a miracle right in front of you, and whoever says that has to be punished! Let's go, Frederick."

"Sandra is right. Is it so regrettable that you're still accusing yourself of such a ruse? Come on, Evan, Aaron. Hubert, I don't need you around me. You traitor, don't follow me anymore."

Frederick stared at me and Hubert, gently embraced Sandra's shoulders as a comfort, and took his closest friends out between the eyes.

And I suffered from an unexplained illness.

I thought I had been poisoned before I realized it. I had Liam attend school on my behalf until I recovered, and tried to detoxify it in the meantime, but none of the antidotes worked and I couldn't move for a while.

I was alert to the meal served at the royal palace and did not eat anything. As I mouthed the water and food from the Sumitomo Pavilion that Liam had asked me to bring, I was about to recover from the poison naturally.

The inn with the general named Lana has become a must-have place for me to live in the royal palace, where I have to be careful every day with wonder and peace of mind.

After all, the closer you get to the inn, the clearer the air gets.

"Your Highness, are you going out again alone?

"Oh, Villem, take that jacket back to the royal palace."

Wearing my usual cape and a hood, I get off the carriage in front of the market and walk towards the fairy lodging pavilion. The market was always busy and vibrant, and I liked the atmosphere in the area.

Should I buy something for the General or a handmade souvenir?

Speaking of which, there were flowers at the counter. Something that suits the image of the maid general... no, even if you suddenly give me flowers, it might just bother you.

Girls love sweets...?

Some people, like Lana, prefer to play with their bodies more than sweets.

"Fufu"

I opened the door to the inn to pick out some baked goods lined up in the stall, buy some for the employees who worked there, and change the feeling of sinking at the Duke of Norris' house.

"Ah, welcome home, Fred."

The General distinguishes Liam from me in a hood. I don't even know who the castle is. Why?

"I bought this because it looks delicious. Let's eat together."

"Well, thank you. I was just about to take a break after lunchtime. Would you like to join us for tea, Miss Fred?

This is a good place for this inn to be careless.

"Ah, here we go. I was thirsty."

"Fufu, please go to the counter. Chiyo, Fred gave me some sweets. Let's take a break together."

"Yes, Lana, I'm in charge of tea today. Please sit down and wait. Ah, welcome home, Fred."

Yeah, that's good. This atmosphere.

I was right to stop by here. Heals the mind.

My little love should be sealed already.

If she hadn't remembered, it might have been nothing but a nuisance if I showed up. Let's think about what I can do for Lana, who lives happily somewhere in this country.

Fred, this is the tea that Chiyo made, but please.

"Hey, Lana, what does that mean?

I guess these two don't think I'm the first prince in this country as much as dew.

"... it's fine, it's delicious."

I drank a little dark and tender green tea and ate a bite of baked confectionery to neutralize it. The general and Chiyo laughed at the tea as too thick and reached out to the confectionery.

Damn, the deeply covered hood is in the way. I want to see not only the pleasant voice, but also the expression of both of them.

I think the chef in the kitchen is staring at me, but, well, that's ignored.
