The plain and unnoticed me is no more

11. Something that came out of a dream

As my break approached, Sin came back holding the basin whimpering with the snacks and dishes. I'm kind of in a good mood today, with a very gentle smile. I wish I could always do that, but the girls in the shop are usually always at the top of the Buddha, so they stay away.

"Owner, thank you for this, it was really delicious. Would you mind telling me how to make this porridge? Looks like he liked the octopus and ate a lot of it unusual. Besides, it was kind of... no, it was quite a delicate dish. Could it have contained any special ingredients?

Sin came back to the kitchen and listened to the porridge recipe. I don't use any special ingredients. It's made with vegetable skins and daikon leaves that don't go out to customers. Indeed, it may be more nutritious. However, in order not to waste food in civilian households, we eat without peeling off the skin, so the ingredients used this time are not anything else.

"Besides, I didn't put anything so unusual in it that it was simmered with bonito stock... but was it so delicious? Hmm, so I spelled" be healthy "so that the taxi would be healthy, so that it would work? What a joke.... eh? No, don't be such a real face, it's embarrassing."

Singh stared at me with his face. I thought I was just kidding, but I think I slightly fell asleep. I joked about it because it was an unusual compliment, but I quickly regretted that I didn't say anything strange.

But apparently, I didn't fall asleep. When he put the basin in the washroom, he brightened his eyes and approached me.

"That's it....! Can you use your magic? I mean, he ate something unusual. I saw it in front of me, but it was still an incredible sight. Besides, I was able to fall asleep, and I walked the star with my own feet and showed it! This is only healing magic, right?!

"Hey... close...!

Sin, who spoke with excitement, stopped at me to stand back and looked up like he was sitting on the workbench. The distance between me and my face was quite close.

"Sin, get away from Lana!

Chiyo took a break and came back inside the counter. I casually peeked into the kitchen and it looked like Singh was attacking me hiding on the shelf. He rushed into the kitchen angrily and pushed Sin back.

"Lana, are you okay? What the hell are you doing at work already? Surely Lana is attractive. But you can't force yourself into something like this!

"No, no, you're mistaken."

Sin raised his hands and stepped back to begin his excuses. Chiyo stared at me like that, and he was smaller than me, and protected me in the royal family. The figure was so cute that I was driven by the urge to hold my head from behind, but Chiyo was seriously trying to protect me, so I patiently endured it.

"Actually, the owner told me that he could use magic, and I was just a little excited to get too close. I didn't swear I was attacked."

"Yes, Chiyo. I wasn't attacked. I'm just excited that Singh really took my joke. Sin, that was a joke. I have no magic."

"I don't think so. If it wasn't healing magic, I wouldn't be able to explain."

I exhaled lightly and began to explain the magic of healing. If you ask me why I know such a thing, it will be troublesome, but if I don't explain it here, I will remain mistaken forever.

"How well does Singh know about healing magic? That is by no means a panacea. First of all, it must be touched directly where it wants to be cured, and the surgeon is very physically depleted. It's not like you can cook."

"So, how do you explain what happened to him? Just because you don't realize it, it's magical. Even civilians are here sometimes, aren't they? Well, if you find them, they'll be used by the country, so we'll all keep quiet. In general, there may be different kinds of healing magic. Maybe yours will heal from the inside through food."

"I've never heard of it...."

Thin doesn't seem to want to pull. It is a type of person who believes more in what he or she sees than in what he or she has heard. If you show me something like that in front of you, there is a danger of being fooled by Colo. That looks a little like Evan. I'll show you that this is devoid of magic, but there's no way to solve the misunderstanding. Trouble is, it's almost impossible to prove that there's nothing left. I am told that I am not doing anything deliberately and I can see that it ends.

Chiyo listened to Sin's argument with me, and calmed down to come up with an accurate answer.

"You know, Sin. I don't think Lana can use magic. If he had that kind of convenience, I'm sure he'd always be willing to use it."

It seems that Chiyo was stunned by the boulders. There are no wizards in her native country, Japan. There is no magic and it is only natural.

Only a few people in this country can use magic. Many of them were concentrated on nobility and royalty, and it was thought that civilians were almost never born with magic. However, in Sin's talk earlier, it was discovered that the civilian population also had magic and lived behind closed doors.

"Lana, it's time for a shift. Please go for a break."

"Yeah, well, good to see you later. Sin, as Chiyo just said. If I had that kind of power, wouldn't I be opening a clinic instead of an inn?

Sin did not object to this. Though still a few months old, I and Singh have been working together until late every day, so we understand each other quite well.

Having left Chiyo on the spot and had a nice lunch in the employee's lounge, I decided to go see Taki.

When I entered the room, I heard Suu Su and a gentle breath of sleep, and I found Taki sleeping well.

He seems to be sleeping well. Thin is just exaggerating, he must have eaten a little more than usual, right? Though it may be a big change if it is thin, you said yourself that the environment has changed and your health has improved.

I looked into the face of a sleeping duck.

"Eh... that? Are you crazy? You look much better than in the morning."

The taxi sleeping in the bed in front of my eyes changed this morning and the redness appeared on my cheeks. Although there should have been only bones and skin, the tension returned to my skin and it seemed to have a little flesh.

"Er, is meat so sudden? Or is it just swelling?

Taki woke up because I was talking to myself.

"Nh... nh? Goddess?"

"Eh...? You were dreaming something. I'm sorry I woke you up."

"Oh, it's a real Lana. No, don't worry, I've had enough sleep. Still, I was surprised to see the goddess in my dreams standing there. I'm sure your face is the same as that goddess. No, maybe it was you. It's the same voice."

Taki stared me in the face. Even if they say it resembles a goddess in a dream, it's a bit full of words.

"Did the goddess who came out of your dream resemble me?

"Hmm... the monsters that nest in my body were exterminated with dazzling light. I said it was all right now, and then it disappeared with the light. Perhaps you are the incarnation of the Goddess."

Now the incarnation of the goddess. I know I'm not such a big person, but I'm ashamed of myself. I honestly don't know if this is a real or a joke for Taki. All I heard was that I couldn't stand the shame, so I changed the subject.

"Hey, Taki. Is it true what Singh said? I heard you flattened the porridge I made for lunch.

"Ah! Oh, that was really delicious. Thank you, you made it for me, didn't you? Actually, I ate up to my brother's share, and I'm sorry. It's so itchy, the moment you swallow it, it's soaking into your body, and your body is pouring out of strength. If I keep eating this for a few days, I feel like I can go back to my original body."

Taki, that porridge doesn't have that kind of effect. I don't know what's going on, but he seems to be a little close to being healthy for the time being. What Sin said was not wrong. He's still weak, but he's alive like someone else he saw in the morning. Being able to fall asleep may have made the environment here pleasant to him.

"Lana, when I get better, can you let me work here? I've been taking care of you so far, so I need your help. I don't think so.

Taki, where did you learn such a rough feeling? If you're older than me and begged to be so cute, you have enough employees, but it's hard to say no.

"Yeah, that's fine. I think it's good to have a goal. Let's do our best to regain our health."

On this day, Taki rested in my room until the last order time in the cafeteria, and the eggs, filled with small earthenware pots that he had made for dinner, flattened the yu with pelori and walked back in line with Sin.

Taki, who came with Singh, who came to work the next day, was still unusual, but in just one night she was no longer like a bone and skin mummy.
