The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 67 The chosen path

The addition of John undoubtedly relieved a lot of pressure. Kingsley could free up his legs to cast more advanced spells, and Xing Ze no longer had to huddle behind the sculpture and wait for death.

"Hey, Charlie, did I smile so happily when my mother died?" John strode forward without any fear of the oncoming legs and magic.

His wand flew rapidly, magic being unleashed one after another, but casting spells so frequently would seriously damage the wand's lifespan.

"J——" Charlie growled.

Taking advantage of that opportunity, Kingsley completed a high-level magic spell and hit Charlie unceremoniously. The sharp ice pick pierced Charlie's body, but it still had no big effect.

The thick tentacles hit Kingsley, and Charlie laughed even more crazily, "Haha, hahahaha, come on, mortals, become a part of his ascension path."

The ice pick was squeezed out of the body, and more tentacle legs emerged. John blocked a magic, and his wand turned into powder under the load. A tentacle leg swept over and slapped him hard on the altar.

"Damn it!" He cursed, and saw another tentacle leg hitting him. Xing Ze jumped out from behind the statue, blocked the blow with all his strength, then grabbed John and used Apparition, followed closely. The incoming hint shattered the sculpture.

"Should his head be weak?" said John Xing, who escaped.

"Hell, does it have to be so difficult?" John stood up, "Let's see if we can hold him for a while."

After that, he took out a new wand from his arms and entered the battle again.

Xing Ze took out a cigar from the ring and found the opportunity to rush towards Charlie. Even if he was in a blind spot, those tentacle legs could still sense the danger. They turned their attack and turned towards Xing Ze. (っ◔◡◔)っ

John quickly cast a magic blade and cut off part of it. He poured magic into the wand and threw the wand at the remaining tentacles. Then he took out another one like a magic trick.

The previous wand exploded with a bang, and the magic was enough to break many tentacles. Kingsley's armor protection was just in time, and Charlie's black magic was right to cause damage to John.

"Stop resisting fearlessly. We will all become sacrifices to the King of the East. Accept your fate, mortal!" Charlie roared, and without any obstruction, Xing Ze approached him as quickly as possible.

A scarlet tentacle came out of Charlie's mouth and quickly wrapped around Xing Ze's leg. A huge force came and Xing Ze was dragged into the air.

John and Kingsley wanted to use their legs to save them, but unexpectedly, dozens of ghouls poured out of the passage and rushed towards them as if they were not begging for their lives.

Xing Ze was hit hard to the ground, and the pain in his back almost made him lose his breath. Charlie's wand flashed green light.

"Really, I could have done a lot, messenger of God." He whispered, "Hangzhi, I chose the wrong path."

"He thought... I was the one who chose the wrong path." Xing Ze laughed, and the blue beak turned into a black cat and jumped away from Charlie's body. The cigar was wrapped into Charlie's neck by its twisted legs.

"No!" Charlie opened his eyes wide and pointed the wand at Xing Ze by mistake, and a red light missed the green light directed at Xing Ze.

The exploding cigar blasted a hole in Charlie's neck, and he was unable to maintain the killing curse. Tonks' disarming spell knocked the wand out of Charlie's leg.

Xing Ze ignored the pain in his back and jumped up from the ground. The blue beak attached to his leg and turned into a sharp blade.

"Haha, hahaha, just reject the King of the East!"

The leg lifted and the knife fell, Charlie's head hung in the sky, and the blue beak penetrated Charlie's body.

The corpse twitched a few times and fell to the ground. Xing Ze took a few steps back and let out a long breath.

Although there were a large number of ghouls, they still couldn't deny John and Kingsley's fault. They cleaned up the group of miscellaneous fish as quickly as possible, only to find that Xing Ze had already killed Charlie.

"Good job, boy." John smiled and took out the wine bottle from his arms.

Kingsley cast a complicated look. He looked at the body on the ground and said, "He won't get up again, will he?"

"What the hell did I mean by that?" John put the wine bottle to his mouth again.

"They knocked him down three times, but each time he got back up, and each time he got more spiney. I also saw the changes in his body."

Forced to evolve? Xing Ze speculated in his heart that the impending death accelerated the pollution outside Charlie's body, causing him to develop that terrible mutation.

Obviously, Charlie's left half and right half seem to be two living entities, like the blending of two worlds, the combination of dream and reality.

I wonder if Kingsley's worries are unnecessary. Blue Beak is constantly absorbing those twisted things. In addition to magic power, it seems to like to devour dream things.

As soon as John raised his leg, the wand shot out a ray of light, and Charlie's head instantly shattered. He took a sip of wine and said, "He thinks he can't."

What exactly caused the initial mutation? Xing Ze turned his attention to the altar, and the starry sky on the dome quietly dispersed, leaving only the broken statue.

Xing Ze and John walked into a cafe, and Tonks made an appointment to meet them there.

The mess in the Colosseum and the Underground Room was left to be solved by Scrimgeour. At this point, it was only a matter of time before the Ministry of Magic intervened.

Scrimgeour mercifully let them go and agreed to share information. Kingsley needed to direct the work at the scene, so Tonks became their contact person.

"He really has no idea. After seeing that kind of scene, I'm sure I have such a good appetite." John looked at Xing Ze in disbelief as he wolfed down the food.

"Is it time to eat now? He's hungry too." Xing Ze raised his head and said. He asked for a maple syrup pancake and a caramel pudding. He now desperately needs sugar to replenish his energy intake.

Although Blue Beak absorbed Charlie's dream objects, it mostly used them in its own body.

"So, John of Thousand Staffs?" Xing Ze tried to change the subject.

John swung his legs and said impatiently: "Can't even pancakes and pudding stop my mouth, boy?"

"How many wands do I have?"

"That's a secret." John replied with some pride, "Secrets should be kept in the heart."

When Tonks arrived, Xing Ze had just finished finishing his third serving of pancakes. The girl's appearance changed a bit. Her hair was no longer so gorgeous, but turned into an ordinary dark brown.

After walking away, she asked for a latte and then went straight to the point, "He said it first?"

"He doesn't mind." John poured some wine into his black coffee.

"Please wait a while, Coco," Tonks reminded.

"Thank Merlin." John praised, "He needs time to rest and recuperate now."

"Go ahead, Tonks, even if you want to go into details, they are not short of time." Xing Ze also agreed.

"Sage and Alvin, those two missing Aurors, do we know about them?"

John nodded, "They are also pursuing this matter?"

Tonks looked confused and asked in confusion: "Why? Director Scrimgeour did not seek help from the Department of Mysteries."

"It's thought," John took a sip of coffee, "that the missing Auror could allow them to find the fragment."

"Fragment? The fragment that brought the plague?"

"No."

"It seems they thought of working together." Tonks smiled helplessly, "I don't know why things have become so complicated. If their goals are originally the same, why didn't they cooperate from the beginning?"

"No politics then, kid," John replied.
