The Basketball Court Swordsman

Chapter 139: : James' trouble

Halfway through the third quarter, the Heat lost a huge advantage of 13 points "unexplained".

In this half of the game, the Pacers hit 2 three-pointers and hit three counterattacks. Of course, there is also Anderson's impressive flying shot.

Everyone was criticizing Spoelstra, saying that his timeout was too late. However, people have overlooked the fact that the Pacers' state has reversed.

During the timeout, Henson did not change his strategy. Facts have proved that the Pacers' strategy is effective. The reason why they fell behind so much in the first half was because the shooting didn't work, not because of tactics.

Therefore, Henson put all changes in personnel changes. First, he replaced Danny Green with Leonard and Horford with Matthews.

Of course, this does not mean that Henson will use Matthews to play center, but remove an inside line, in exchange for the single inside lineup that the Pacers did best last season.

So after the game came back, the Pacers' lineup became Paul, George, Matthews, Leonard and Anderson, a standard one big and four small.

Spoelstra was dumbfounded. How did Henson know that he had to send a big and four kids?

On the Heat's side, Spoelstra simply won the poor performance of Joe Anthony during a timeout, using Bosh as the center, and James topped the fourth position. Shane Battier, the former Rockets player, was active in the third position.

Spoelstra wanted to use James' mobility to beat Horford, but he didn't expect that the Pacers also changed their strategy in time.

"Both sides have taken a big and four small lineups, and the rest of the third quarter will probably turn into a wonderful quick attack!"

In fact, Henson and Spoelstra are not in a good spirit. Henson only studied the Heat. He knew that the Filipinos had no inside lines available at this time and would simply make James top inside lines.

Thinking about other people's ideas and responding to them in advance has always been the strength of Henson, a mathematics student.

After James came on the field, for the second time in this game, he faced the reticent and expressionless Maize No. 2, Kawai Leonard, who was ranked 15th in 2011.

In the first half of the game, Leonard's defense against James has already left a deep impression on the "little emperor". This guy with terrifying arms, like branches and leaves entwining tree roots, always wraps himself up to death.

And what surprised James the most was that the first-year rookie didn't seem nervous to face him. He is always conscientious in completing tough defenses again and again, like a machine without emotions.

Compared to the height and wingspan, James feels that this psychological quality is more terrifying.

"The Heat are only one point ahead. They haven't scored since the start of the third quarter! Let's see if they can break the deadlock this time!"

The Heat are still dominated by James, and Chalmers even lost the job of dribbling halftime. But this time, James didn't break through with the ball himself, instead he handed the ball to his teammates, and then ran to the right side of the three-second zone by himself.

"LeBron wants to play back singles, he wants to play back singles like a real four!"

Kenny Smith raised his voice, and everyone knows how much James has improved in post singles this season. Moreover, James seems very willing to use this method to solve offensive problems.

Leonard still didn't have any expressions, and James was a little surprised by the huge power in him. A guy with a standard three-position figure can actually carry himself hard without losing the wind!

James received the basketball as he wished, and then he directly crushed it with his body and took two steps before turning around to make a layup!

However, when James turned around, he saw pitch black in front of him and no light in the basket!

Leonard was not pushed away by James' body, but instead used his long arms and big hands that he had been holding high to seal James' shot space!

"Fuvk!" James cursed secretly. Has this guy's arm been stretched?

James took back the basketball and made a few steps, but those big hands are always in front of James. Just as the confrontation became intense, the referee's whistle sounded and James thought he had a foul. However, the referee placed his arms flat, rolled alternately, and walked illegally!

"What!?" James spread his hands and yelled at the referee in disbelief.

It turns out that in Leonard's pressing, James's steps have been completely messy, and he doesn't know his steps.

"No blocks, no steals, not even takeoffs. But you must admit, Leonard gave a perfect defense!" Kenny Smith remembered the corn yellow No. 2, remembering the corn head. The "short power forward".

Leonard was still expressionless. He silently took the basketball from James' hand, retreated to the bottom line and prepared to serve, as if the dispute between James and the referee had nothing to do with him!

James looked at the emotionless face, feeling angry and didn't know who to throw fire at. How could this guy look like the "Stone Buddha" in San Antonio! ?

The Heat's first offense after returning from a suspension, an offense led by James himself, once again ended in failure!

The Pacers' offense is obviously much smoother. Anderson is covering for his teammates everywhere. The four players who can shoot and can make the Heat can't catch the defensive focus.

The basketball was eventually passed to Matthews by Paul. Matthews didn't perform much in each game, but he played a role as long as he played.

This undrafted pick up and down, pierced the heart of the Heat with a three-pointer!

"Go ahead by 2 points! The Indiana Pacers took the lead for the first time in this game! This is also the third quarter of the game. The Pacers made the third three-pointer. It seems that their feel has completely recovered."

After the game, the Heat fell into a hard fight on the offensive end. No matter which point it is, there is no way to get a chance to score easily.

Paul strangled Chalmers easily, and George used his height to force James Jones not to make a move. Battier was entangled by the tough Matthews at a loss, and Bosh lost the brilliance that a giant should have in front of the energetic birdman.

LeBron James, who the Heat relied on the most, was repeatedly guarded by the first-year rookie named Leonard!

"LeBron James continued to sit in the low post. Leonard suddenly went forward and intercepted the pass that Chalmers slinged to LeBron! His judgment and arm length were enough for him to intercept this pass!"

"James beat Leonard, the ball dropped, Leonard stabbed the basketball, he dived and jumped the ball, wonderful, the Pacers won the ball again!"

"LeBron broke through for a layup, and Leonard followed... blocked, blocked! Leonard blocked James' layup. This is the second time James has suffered a block today. The magical rookie, the magical Mr. Silent. He made LeBron suffer today, and he will undoubtedly make LeBron remember his name well!"

Throughout the third quarter, James and the Heat's offense was so embarrassed. Gradually, the Heat's morale was low, and the Pacers became more and more courageous.

In the last 1.8 seconds of the third quarter, Paul hurriedly shot two steps beyond the three-point line, but the basketball was magically caught again!

The buzzer hit a three-pointer, and the entire American Airlines Center instantly became lifeless! Because after this three-pointer hit, it means that the Heat will enter the fourth quarter with a 10-point disadvantage!

"From a 13-point lead to a 10-point lead, the Pacers only spent one game time! Coach Henson’s substitution was a magical stroke. He seemed to be able to foresee the future and came up with a large and four small lineups in advance. Stop the Heat. And LeBron, he ran into a difficult opponent!"

Following Kenny Smith’s explanation, the T.NT live photographer gave Leonard a close-up of his face.

In the third quarter, Leonard entangled James with only 5 points and 1 of 8 shots! Once James can't open, the Heat will lose the ability to kill the game.

I believe Popovich must be very distressed now, if it weren't for Henson's deception, this defensive monster should belong to San Antonio!

In the fourth quarter, the exhausted Heat seemed to have been unable to make waves. After making some adjustments, James increased the number of outside shots, but the shooting rate is still not optimistic.

As for the Pacers, Paul completely controls the pace of the game. Whether it was a quick counterattack or a positional attack, the Pacers played vigorously.

As soon as the fourth quarter came up, the Pacers hit a wave of 9-2. George's three-pointer hit the bottom and rebounded, mainly due to Frazier's magical guidance.

With today’s example, Henson is extremely convinced that Leonard and Jimmy Butler’s shots must be practiced without a problem!

A shooting coach who treats shooting as scientific research and art has exceeded Henson's expectations.

Although in the middle of the fourth game, James Jones and Chalmers' three-pointers made the Heat slightly stabilized. But helpless, their performance came too late.

The Pacers then responded with a 7-0 response, completely ruining the suspense of the game. In the last minute, the Heat trailed by 15 points. Spoelstra replaced all the main players in advance and proclaimed his surrender!

"It's over, the game is over! An incredible reversal, haha, Coach Henson is still magical!"

Kenny Smith was dancing with excitement, not because he was on the Pacers' side, but because this reversal of the game was really exciting. And beside him, there was Barkley with a blank face.

Sir "Flying Pig" was thinking about everything at this time, why is it so difficult to squat in front of Henson?
