Summoner of Marvel World

Chapter 117 A Simple Funeral

The familiar colorful lights flashed, and Adam appeared on the Rainbow Bridge less than 12 hours after leaving Asgard.

"It's over so soon?" Heimdall held a giant sword and looked at Adam. "Where's Baldr?"

"Didn't anything happen after I left?" Adam carefully observed Heimdall's expression.

"Did something happen?" Heimdall's heart tightened, and for some reason, an ominous premonition rose in his heart.

Heimdall used his special ability to cover the entire Asgard, but found nothing abnormal.

"If I'm not mistaken, we're going to hold a funeral." Adam patted Heimdall on the shoulder and walked towards the palace.

Adam's pace was unhurried, thinking about the reason while walking.

Although Odin is no longer young and his strength has declined, there is no one who can kill him silently.

After reaching the level of Odin, he is basically immune to all poisons, and some mysterious curse methods in the universe cannot work on it.

Adam really couldn't figure out how Odin died. Could it be that, as Baldr said, Odin was exhausted?

It's not impossible.

Marvel has countless universes, and there are countless single universes with Odin. Perhaps Odin in this universe is so fragile.

Adam thought about it carefully, and it made sense, after all, Thor, the god of thunder, was dead.

Maybe Odin really ran out of fuel, he didn't do anything when Thor died, maybe he really had nothing to do.

Even if Adam walked slowly, the road from the Rainbow Bridge to the palace was over.

Adam walked into the palace quickly, ignoring the guards' salutes, and walked directly through the palace to the bedroom behind the palace.

"You're here again, young man." Frigga said calmly, as if she wasn't surprised.

Adam ignored Frigga, walked past her, pushed open the door of the bedroom, and saw Odin lying on the bed.

Odin's face was pale, obviously no longer breathing.

"How long has he been dead?" Adam looked back at Frigg.

"It might have been a month ago, or it might have been two months ago." Frigga said calmly, "It might also be last night. I haven't opened this door for a long time."

"I don't believe that you and his relationship will ignore him. How long has he been dead?" Adam stared at Frigg. Although there was no expression on his face, there was doubt in his eyes. "What good will it do you to conceal the news of his death?"

"I just woke up a long time ago. He gave an order that no one is allowed to enter this room again." Frigga's tears flowed from her eyes and slid down her cheeks. "I'm just following the orders of the God King."

Adam took a deep breath, and after a moment of silence, he said to the guards on guard: "Call Kress and Kai over to collect Odin's body for the funeral."

Odin's death was not a trivial matter, but it is not a major event for Asgard now.

Chris organized the funeral,

Only Adam and Frigg attended the funeral, and Heimdall didn't even notify him.

The former god-king Odin received simple funerals one after another. It took no more than three hours from when Adam saw his body to when his funeral was completed and buried in the soil.

In the royal palace of Asgard, Adam sat on the throne, Chris and Kai knelt under the throne on one knee, all the guards around were expressionless, but there was a trace of fear in their eyes.

Adam's face was gloomy, and faint pressure radiated from his body. For the two of Chris Kai, this pressure was nothing, but for the surrounding guards, it was like standing in the crater of a volcano that was about to erupt. On the ground, a feeling of fear involuntarily arises from the bottom of my heart.

This is a kind of life instinct, which is the suppression of life level.

"Don't spread the news of Odin's death for now, as if he is still sleeping."

The index finger of Adam's right hand kept tapping on the armrest of the throne, and the clicking sound made one's hair stand on end in the quiet palace.

"Your Majesty, where is the Queen of God..." Chris lowered his head. "She insisted on guarding Odin's spirit, and asked the people to come and pay their respects to the god-king."

What Chris meant was very clear, he didn't know how to treat Frigg, the former queen of God.

"How about my sword?" Adam didn't answer Chris' question.

Chris said: "Basically, it has been remodeled. I found that most of the craftsmanship of this sword belongs to the dwarf kingdom, and the secrets contained in it are somewhat similar to the secrets of Asgard."

"Send it to me as soon as possible, about Frigga..." Adam paused, glanced at Kai beside Chris, and said, "I'll let Kai do it."

"As ordered."

After Chris gave Kai an inexplicable look, he turned and left the palace. He still had to complete the transformation of the sword for Adam.

"Your Majesty, Chris just gave me a look." Kai raised his head with a blank expression on his face. "But I don't understand what it means."

"He might want to invite you to take a shower with him sometime, and he might throw the soap on the floor." Adam rolled his eyes and said, "Go and keep an eye on Frigga, if she's just being honest with you Ding Shouling, just leave her alone and send her back to the palace after her vigil is over."

In the palace, Adam had already arranged a gorgeous room, which would be where Frigga lived for the rest of his life.

"Then what if she's dishonest?" Kai asked with a cute face, "If she still wants to announce Odin's death to the world, should I stop her?"

"Kill her directly, and then bury her well." Adam rubbed the space between his brows. "If you get to this point, kill everyone who knows."

"Oh." Kai nodded.

"How's Bamen Dunjia?" Adam finally felt a little relieved.

The stupid Kai was very loyal to Adam after he got the Bamen Dunjia. The system had even reminded Adam that he could sign a contract with Kai, but Adam was always busy (forgotten) and didn't take care of it.

"The fifth door of the Eight Dunjia is very easy, and the sixth door is not a big problem." Kai showed an excited expression on his face. "That tube of medicine is really useful, do you have any more?"

"That's a serum, you can't use it often." Adam shook his head. "Only the first time you use it, the effect is the greatest, and if you use it again, it will have no effect."

"Then...Your Majesty, you can find me some other serum. The potential contained in my body is definitely not enough for me to open the eight doors." Kai begged as a matter of course.

"Didn't Chris say that the potential is unlimited?"

"He knows shit!"

With a wry smile, Adam took out a piece of magic parchment and threw it to Kai, saying, "I will help you figure out a way, take this back, and write your name on it with your blood."

"Oh." Kai nodded, and then asked suspiciously, "Whose name?"

"Your! Or is it still mine?"
