Chapter 36: Defense against the Dark Arts

Tuesday.

Kewen routinely went to the edge of the cliff early in the morning to review the'Three Fighting Technique', and then went back to the auditorium to wait for the meal.

This morning, I will have two consecutive ‘Defense Against the Dark Arts’ lessons. This course will consist of one big lesson in one week.

The professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class is a middle-aged man with a roof, named David Cross, who is a new professor this year.

The professor appeared to be very professional. After the class, he carried a suitcase in each of his left and right hands. After entering the classroom, he didn't talk much. First, he opened the suitcase in his right hand and placed it on the innermost side of the classroom.

In addition, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom is a rectangular room with a large space, 20 meters long and 15 meters wide.

Professor David Cross took out the contents of the box, then assembled it, and finally it became a device that looked like a baseball transmitter.

With proper arrangement, Professor David walked slowly to the middle of the classroom and said to all the students: “Before the lecture, I need to remind everyone that the main purpose of my course is to teach you how to defend against dark magic and how to use it when you are in danger. The curse is not to teach you black magic or evil curses."

Looking around all the students, Professor David went on to say: "I don't want any fool in the future to try to get me to teach him some evil spells."

The bad tone made the students of the two colleges of Gryffindor and Slytherin dare not breathe.

I am very satisfied with the effect I have caused. Professor David nodded and continued: "Then first, who can answer my most commonly used defensive spell?"

All the students seemed to be frightened by the professor's previous attitude, and no one raised their hands for a while.

Professor David saw this, his expression was ugly, his eyes squinted slightly, and he said in a deep voice, "Answer my question! Doesn't anyone know such simple common sense?"

"If so! Then I will express my disappointment to you, and I will deduct 20 points from each of you two colleges."

Professor David just finished speaking, and students from the two colleges raised their hands.

"Say it!" Professor David pointed to a Slytherin student.

   "Professor, it's an obstacle curse."

"Yeah." Professor David said with a straight face and nasalized that he was correct, and then asked, "Who else knows the other answers?"

The students who knew raised their hands again.

"Sell it!" Professor David pointed to a Gryffindor sitting in the front row of Cowen.

   "And the armor curse, professor."

"Hmm." Professor David pronounced it through his nose again.

did not mean to give points to the students who answered correctly, Professor David stepped to the baseball transmitter-like mechanism.

Standing still and turning around, Professor David said, "Listen well, now I will teach you the spells of obstacle spells."

Raising his voice, Professor David read: "Impedimenta, do you remember? Impedimenta! What are you waiting for? Read with me! Impedimenta!"

   "Impedimenta." The jagged readings sounded.

Professor David asked everyone to read it five times, and then he said: "Remember the movement of the wand, to swing it forward, no matter which direction it is from, just swing it forward and point the tip of the wand in the direction of the source of danger. Remember it!"

   "Remember..." The answer sounded.

"Get up, come down and line up!" Professor David commanded.

The students got up one after another, came to the open space and divided them into two columns according to the college.

"Next I will use this magic prop to launch hollow rubber **** at you." Professor David said while patting the machine next to him: "What you have to do is use the obstacle spell I gave you to block Gumballs, don't let them fall on you, understand?"

"understood……"

"Gryffindor is here first!" Professor David pointed his wand at the student at the front of the column: "Are you ready?"

"Quasily, I'm ready for the professor."

The student at the front of the column was Benedict Shaq. At this time, he was so nervous that he swallowed his saliva, and the wand that was across his chest trembled slightly.

Professor David ignored Benedic’s nervousness, and after saying ‘I’m going’, he immediately pressed the button on the top of the machine next to him.

With a ‘swish’, a red rubber ball flew out of the cylinder in front of the machine in an instant.

   "The obstacle is heavy..."

  嘭!

There was an empty muffled noise, and before Benedict could finish the spell, the rubber ball had hit his chest.

At the same time, Benedict also smoothly read the last pronunciation, but because he was hit, the wand in his hand did not move, and the whole person was stunned.

"It's so slow to recite, do you think you are reciting poetry!" Professor David reprimanded dissatisfiedly: "Snip your mouth! While chanting the spell, wave the wand for me! Don't wave the wand after finishing the spell!"

"Yes, yes professor..." Benedict responded cautiously.

"Do it again!" Professor David said, "Get ready!"

The words are over, start the machine again.

"There are many obstacles!" Benedict chanted the spell faster this time, and at the same time remembered what the professor said, waving the spell ahead of time.

  嘭!

There was an empty sound again, but unfortunately, even though Benedict successfully released the spell, he still took a step slower and let the red rubber ball hit his chest again~www.NovelMTL.com~You give me a practice! "Professor David said with a straight face: "Now I have to remind you that you are still so slow to react!" Do you want me to remind you when you are fighting against people or dangerous magical creatures in the future! Go and practice your spell casting speed! Next step forward! "

As Benedict walked to the side with a mournful face, Kewenyun stepped forward lightly, his wand-holding arm hanging casually beside him.

"Are you ready?" Professor David reminded Kewen as usual.

Seeing Kewen nodded, Professor David pressed the button again to start the machine.

  嘭!

A red rubber ball rushed out of the cylinder in front of the machine and shot at Corvin.

   "There are many obstacles."

The voice is neither light nor heavy, and the speed of speech is fast. The wand in Cowen's hand is only slightly lifted, and the tip of the wand is pointed at the direction of the rubber ball.

  嘭!

An invisible barrier instantly blocked the rubber ball, causing the ball to bounce back quickly, hit the ground halfway, and rolled back to Professor David's feet.

Professor David was taken aback for a moment, but instantly put away his expression, nodded slowly and said, "Yes, but now is not the time for you to show off. You should just follow the way I said, and slam the wand forward."

"May I ask why, Professor?" Kewen asked.

"Because what you will face in the future is not something like a ball." Although Professor David has a bad attitude, he still answers the question dutifully: "No one knows how many dangerous attacks you will face in the future, so you shake The movement of the wand is to make your defensive emotions stronger in your heart. The stronger the emotions in your heart, the higher the defensive effect of the spell."

"Understood, thank you professor." Kewen nodded suddenly and said thanks...
