A week had passed since Raphael, Dwayne, and Aliyah helped kidnap the Guardian academy chairman's daughter.

During the past seven days, none of the teams were assigned missions, instead, they were having to deal with numerous classes, and at the same time, they were preparing for the famous midterm test.

In Raphael and Devon's apartment, six students sat in the living room, with a few of them having a stern look on. There were also numerous books all over the room, and the six of them were skimming and scanning through each book, trying to assimilate any information that they could.

BANG!

Suddenly, Bane threw one of the books across the room, "Damn it! I can't do this any longer. It's driving me insane." Bane exclaimed.

Among the remaining five, it was only two that raised their heads when they heard Bane. And even then, they only stared at him for a couple of seconds before shifting their gaze back to the books.

Bane stood from the couch, "Don't you ever think about it. The teachers themselves spend weeks teaching us about this course, and yet, they expect us to gather all the information and lay it out for them in a single day, that isn't right." Bane said.

"I say we head straight to the student council office and complain about it. This is a violation and an atrocious act, and it's terrible that we aren't saying anything about it."

"So who is with me!" Bane had already opened the room door wide as he spoke.

There was, however, no response from the people he was speaking to, and instead, they all had their heads buried in the books they were reading. Bane had to stomp his feet heavily on the ground to get their attention.

"So, who is with me?" Bane asked his earlier question.

And this time around, he was greeted with an annoyed expression from Melinda and Becky.

"All this won't have been a problem for you if you started reading when class started. I read for about four to five hours daily, so I'm able to cover everything up, all I'm doing now is simply revising." Becky spoke.

Bane's eyebrows were pulled down when he heard Melinda, "Becky you're out, who else is with me on this?" Bane asked.

"I also agree with Becky. If you had been reading all this while, then you won't have any issue with these. It isn't all that hard, you know." Camille said.

"And you too," Bane shook his head, "You do know that we are being taught seventeen different courses, and we will be doing tests on all of them in just a single day."

Bane hadn't even heard their response when he slammed the door shut, "You have all been reading since the beginning of class. Why didn't anyone tell me about this?" Bane scratched his head.

"You also Aiden?" Bane paused, "I didn't have much expectation on Devon, but you, come on, you have to be joking."

Aiden shrugged his shoulder when he heard Bane, "It's honestly not as bad as you think. I enjoyed reading." A smile hung on Aiden's face, and for some reason, he was staring at Camille when he spoke.

"Like I'm going to believe you. The only reason you would pick a book in the first place is if you want to woo a girl." Bane hissed.

Melinda chuckled when she saw how Aiden had reacted to Bane's words. "You should also give it a shot, you might come to enjoy it a lot."

"I doubt that. I can't be the only one who doesn't like reading right. What about Elisa, how is she."

"Elisa is even more committed than any of us here." Becky replied, "We are in the sixth week, aren't we? What if I told you that Elisa is done with all the syllabus and topics the teachers would be taking us this year."

"Yes, Elisa is a monster when it becomes to studying," Melinda exclaimed.

Bane's lips curved into a smile when he heard Melinda and Becky, "That's very good. I guess I have to find a way to seat beside her tomorrow. This is an excellent piece of information, it's either Elisa or Devon tomorrow."

"Hmm"

"Speaking of Elisa," Bane shifted his gaze to the door which was a few meters away, and said, "Can someone tell me what the both of them have been doing in there all this while?*

Everyone's eyes whether it was Melinda, Becky, Aiden, Camille, Aiden, or Devon went to the door which was a few meters away when they heard Bane. They were all quiet, but as they stared at the door, their eyes gleamed.

"Anyone?"

While it might seem like Bane was talking to everyone in the living room when he spoke, his eyes were fixed on Melinda and Becky.

Melinda shook her head and shrugged her shoulder when she saw everyone staring at her. "How am I supposed to know what the both of them are doing in there," Melinda said.

"You saw when she walked in after she greeted you all, she went into the room immediately. She didn't tell me anything or Becky, did Elisa speak to you about it?" Melinda asked.

Becky removed the pen which was in her mouth, "No, she didn't tell me anything also." Becky responded.

A few seconds after Becky spoke, Bane leaped from the couch, and he hurried straight to the door. Aiden also rushed to the door.

"This is completely wrong, you know." Though Melinda seemed to be against Bane and Aiden moving towards the door, her action said otherwise as she began walking towards the door.

"Sigh! What is really wrong with you people." Becky exclaimed, and just like Melinda, she also strolled over to the door.

The four of them placed their head on the door, trying as much as to get a bit of whatever it is that was going on in the room.

"Can any of you hear anything?" Bane couldn't help but ask, as even after standing in front of the door for a few minutes, he wasn't able to hear a single word from the other end.

"No, are you sure they…" Before Becky could finish her words, the door of the room was suddenly pushed open, and two figures appeared in front of Bane, Aiden, Melinda, and Becky.

Elisa folded her hands across her chest when she saw the people standing in front of the door. Raphael was standing behind Elisa, he was about to wear a white top when Elisa opened the door.

"Ah-Ahem… Has anyone seen my key?" Bane's voice suddenly rang out. Bane had only just spoken when Raphael pointed his hand at his shirt pocket.

Bane slowly shifted his gaze to his pocket, and as he saw the key hanging there, he flashed a rough smile at Raphael and Aliyah, before going back to the couch.

Meanwhile, Raphael kept a straight face, seemingly unbothered by their action. Raphael took a glance at the people in the living room, giving them a slight nod before walking into the kitchen.

The instant Raphael stepped into the kitchen, Melinda and Becky pulled Elisa closer to them quickly. "Elisa, I want full details of everything that happened in the room," Melinda spoke with a smile on her face.

"Yes, Elisa, tell us everything that happened inside the room. Did the both of you kiss and do other silly things." Becky asked.

While it was Becky and Melinda who were asking, Elisa could tell that everyone in the living room was interested in knowing what happened in the room. They all kept staring at her with great interest.

"Actually, nothing happened in there," Elisa said.

Melinda and Becky raised an eyebrow when they heard Elisa. "What do you mean nothing happened in there? The both of you were in there for a very long time, so how is it that nothing happened."

"Or is there something wrong with him?" Becky exclaimed.

Elisa shook her head, "I'm sure nothing is wrong with him. We talked a little, but that's all. He didn't even make a move, and neither did I." Elisa said, she was about to move forward when Melinda held her.

"This is really weird since most guys and even girls would have jumped at the opportunity to be with you in the same room with you alone." Melinda paused, "Anyway, why did you decide to come out all of a sudden?"

"That reminds me, there's someone at the door." Elisa hurried towards the door. She opened the door, and a man putting on delivery clothes was at the door.

Elisa then paid the man from her purse and collected the two bags which he was holding on to. "Thank you, and keep the change." With that said, and Elisa closed the door.

"What are you doing, Elisa?" Melinda asked.

"Oh, Raphael was about to order food for everyone, but I told him not to, that I will be cooking," Elisa replied as she walked into the kitchen.

Melinda and Becky's mouths opened slightly when they heard Elisa, and before either one of them could speak, Elisa had already passed by them and walked into the kitchen.

A few seconds after Elisa walked into the kitchen, Raphael stepped out of it.

"Raphael, if you don't mind, what's your power rank at the moment?" As Bane and Aiden appeared in front of Raphael, Bane asked a question that had been on his mind lately.

Raphael glanced at his wristwatch before saying, "I actually have no idea, I stopped checking it weeks ago." Raphael responded.

"What about now? Can you check it, I'm curious about something." Aiden said.

Raphael's eyes squinted. However, he still triple-tapped the wristwatch. "Hmm, not bad," Raphael mumbled when he saw the figures that were on the screen.

Bane and Aiden stared into the screen and when they saw figures, the both of them glanced at one another, before quietly moving back to their seat.

The living room was surprisingly very quiet as everyone was wondering what made Bane and Aiden react that way. They couldn't help but be curious about what Bane and Aiden had seen.

"What the hell!! How come you're already very close to A-rank?" Suddenly Bane exclaimed.

"What?" Melinda's eyes twitched when she heard Bane, "How is this possible?!" Melinda immediately dashed towards Raphael, and as she saw the numbers which were on the wristwatch, her body shook.
