Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Chapter II.23: Tentative First Contract

Even Emilia got rid of the room, and Subaru's fourth week got off to a dark start.

After hurting Emilia with a heartless word the first morning, she was waiting face-to-face with Roswar, who returned to the Mansion.

His attitude didn't change like he ate people, but I felt uncomfortable being seen with a lot of worthy eyes. I don't know if that's for this time only, or if it was the same as last time, now Subaru.

The time spent exchanging words is short and its contents are not very memorable.

However, I feel like I have only received the word "treat" as a guest.

I hope I stay until I feel better, what a convenient thing to say.

That could have been said to be a wish or a fulfillment for Subaru, and even though it was already a matter of no concern.

If you swoop out of the mansion now, you will surely be killed for mouth sealing purposes. Even if it was determined that it was only luggage for the Roswar faction as it were, it was visible that a future awaited to be ground from afar.

BADEND to go and stay.

I feel like I saved the looming BADEND in a position where I can't avoid it. What an irrational setting to say it was an autosave.

With such evil, Subaru spent the day lazy squatting in one corner of the room. It would be the first day since I've come to another world that I've done nothing more.

Think of it, Subaru is now the 'nourished himself' you've been waiting for. Dinner is served without work, and no one complains about it even if it's stuck in the room.

While in different worlds, I am able to live a hikikomori similar to the original world. I can't wait for that, but my emotions for thirsty time are dust-free.

Neither could he choose the attractive option of slumbering, and Subaru spent his innocence holding his head without even being able to sleep on the guest bedside.

On his hands he grips the feather pen backwards, the tip of which is stained with blood that has been soaked and dried out many times. He loses his drowsiness, piercing the back of his hand whenever his eyelid is about to fall, forcing his consciousness into a state of awakening with pain.

Subaru's breath breathing with his mouth is rough and fast, even though he hasn't even made a busy move on the sleeping table. The heartbeat continues to strike quickly and briefly at uninterrupted tension, and the eyes constantly move around trapped in suspicious darkness to see if there is any abnormality in the room.

He has already died three times and his days at the Roswar residence are entering their fourth.

In Subaru's experience, there were three deaths as of the first day of the summons. For Subaru, who broke through that day in the fourth, the fourth death would mean an unknown realm.

- If you die here now, you may never come back next time.

I can't find a way to avoid death. Still, I didn't want to die.

But it's also painful and hard to live here. The only thing I could make Subaru that seemed like something could go wrong with my head was choosing a conclusion that I just thought something had gone wrong with my head.

That is, to doubt everything, to resist everything, to stick even raw.

We are already entering the afternoon of the second day of the fourth week, and the time we spent recklessly is too different from previous repetitions to be counted on, such as previous memories.

I don't know what's going to happen, and it's no wonder what's going to happen. And whatever happens, it's all only to the detriment of Subaru.

Subaru's heart, disappointed in reality, desperate for the situation and giving up on the future, has been broken.

Now, the remnants of it just continue to give rise to evil all the time.

I don't think of day as day, I don't think of night as night, even the passage of time becomes obscure, even the narrow space of consciousness and unconsciousness swings like a pneumonia.

Only the pain that pierces the back of my hand is clear, and I'm just a little happy that the feeling is vivid, deciding the wound over and over again. Decide. Decide.

"- It's been a long time."

Two, I looked up as if such a voice sounded abrupt and bounced.

At the tip of Subaru's gaze as hard as a beast, he grips the door knob and embarks himself on this one, a girl who hadn't even once faced each other around this time yet.

Beatrice's visit, that's the first of four repetitive worlds. And Subaru raises his guard all at once.

An anomaly that can only happen this time - because it is determined to lead to life-threatening consequences for Subaru as it is.

"... this time, it's you"

Low, crouched voice surprises me myself.

I kept my mouth shut for more than two days, and even my thirst, which only passed through my rough breath, stood. There was more hostility in there than I was going to get in, and the girl who was going to take that malice head-on,

"It's only been a day or two, how can it rot so far? Humans are hard and stupid creatures."

"I'm not going to go along with your high theory. - What are you doing here?"

Beatrice laughs at Subaru's ugliness with her nose. She frowned uncomfortably at the way Subaru said that she had forgotten Oblate,

"Oh, and that little girl told me to come and see her face."

"With the pack... Emilia?

"Something's wrong with you since you woke up, so I suspect Betty did something to you when she first woke up. I don't know if that's rude."

Emilia, who should have been hurt by the heartless word of Subaru, nevertheless took into account Subaru's heart. She wondered if Beatrice, whose cause of Subaru's modulation had been in contact just before, was distant, and appealed directly to Beatrice.

Beatrice, who somehow can't get out strong on the pack, seems to have had the support of a pack of wasting sweets on her daughter, and thus reluctantly turned to Subaru.

Emilia's care - it left only a few warmth in Subaru's desolate heart. But there is also a great deal of misunderstanding in that concern.

The cause of Subaru's leopard weirdness is irrelevant to Beatrice, and all this is no longer a problem to solve where whoever did what to me.

"Okay. That's enough. Now that I know your story, I need you to disappear. You came to apologize. That's enough."

"I wonder why Betty has to apologize. First, we have to start by correcting it, or we can't go home."

Beatrice waves and chases Beatrice to Subaru, who tries to get rid of her at all costs. Then she stepped further into the room, moving to drag the hem of her long skirt,

"- Hmm?"

Then, I wrinkled my nose and stopped my leg.

Its side, adorable if silent, turns its neck and sniffs around as if when a dog traces something with a smell.

Eventually she glanced at Subaru with her unpleasantness in her eyes,

"Not only has the surface gotten spicy, but it's getting a lot darker."

"- What?"

"I think we're talking about the smell. It's the worst scent on my nose. Wouldn't it be wise not to see those twins for a while?"

Beatrice pinches his nose, waves and appeals to the stench.

I don't even realize her tricks like that, and it's memories that fall under the keyword 'stink' that Subaru makes me think.

Odor, that's for sure someone by the end of the third week...

"What stinks from me?

Face up, Subaru asks with the color of his emotions in his voice for the first time.

Beatrice raised one eyebrow to ask and put her arms together,

"It smells like a witch. I think my nose might bend."

I whine the keyword 'witch' and a corner of my head starts to nod at my sieve.

I remember that word. I should have seen those words recently. It's

"Shiatsu Seriously"

"I wonder what could possibly be in the world today other than being called a witch"

Subaru unexpectedly embarks on Beatrice's story like he made a fool of himself. Reach for her,

"How do you feel that smell from me?

"Come on? Did the witch see you, or make you his enemy? Either way, you get special treatment from a witch. You're a pain in the ass."

"It's not so frightening to treat someone who doesn't know their face or their name."

Beatrice shrugging her shoulders darkly shows that even more topics are uncomfortable. Subaru clutches his mouth to that stubborn attitude of rejection and begins to dive into the sea of thought as he organizes the fragmented information of today.

Witch. Shizuku is a world celebrity who is hated, feared, and remains in a gaga where everyone even repels giving a name.

Only in the part told to a story that is not even storytelling does the knowledge that Subaru is gaining about its existence exist.

Naturally, if I don't remember meeting him, I don't remember what had the only contact.

It was an unreasonable story even though I hadn't even experienced it, such as the fact that the leftover incense of the witch was stained.

- Lem, too, I do think he said that to Subaru.

If one end of her excessive intent to kill was also in it, Subaru would have bought a grudge with a fact he could not even remember. Because all sins are wrongful, the bad luck of Subaru, who is killed every once in a while, would be one of the best in the world.

Subaru leaks a long exhale into tiredness when he finds out that there is nothing he can do about it. you saw it and stepped on that there was no further progress in the story, Beatrice stroked that long hair big with her hands,

"If there's nothing else, you're already going. I'll let you know that Betty's here to see you."

"Wait a minute."

My back trying to 'cross the door' with my hands on the door knob, and I speak to it to stop the movement. to Beatrice, who looks back at this one with only her neck,

"You think it's bad for me, don't you?

And Subaru threw the question wilfully.

To some extent, I followed my heart complaining that it was better than nothing, although it was a means that might be a bet.

to Beatrice with an unpleasant face, Subaru tapped the sheet gently and again,

"You think it's bad for me. Answer with Jesus or Dar."

"I don't think so."

"I can tell the pack."

"Gu... You might even think about it."

Turning to Subaru with each body, Beatrice arms up and turns away great.

I looked at that little body of hers from top to bottom, and then remembered the time I had had with her so far - Subaru's troubled statement, his decision.

"If you'll forgive me, just do me one favor."

It's

"One night...... no, not until the morning after tomorrow. Will you protect me?"

To plead with a girl who only seemed younger than herself was too shameless a choice.

Beatrice was often silent on Subaru's wishes,

"It's an ambiguous story. I wonder if that's why they're after us."

Returns an extremely natural question.

Beatrice started walking around the room, keeping a white eye on Subaru,

"In the first place, I'm sorry to be brought into this mansion. I wonder if this mansion is a must for Betty."

"... I'm not willing to do anything about it. I just want to pay for the firepowder."

"That's a lot of good intentions for other people's habits."

"Only this time, I don't have a word to give back."

Beatrice sighs at Subaru, who leans down.

As it was for a while, silent time flowed indoors.

As he leaned down, Subaru thought there would be a sound of the door closing in time. The sound of Beatrice trumpeting her plea and returning to her forbidden library.

When you hear it, it's when even a slightly connected drop of Subaru's hope crushes.

to Subaru, who was filled with such a renunciation,

"Give me your hand."

Beatrice, who walked over beside the bedroom, had his little hand pointed this way.

Subaru is taken aback by surprise. When she took such an exasperation of Subaru's right hand, she looked at its scratchy back and glanced at her face,

"Disgusting. I can't believe you even have a self-harm habit."

"That word is Roswar's identity, isn't it?... I'm just a little over-leaked in my youth."

"I don't know what that means, but I just know it's not going to save me."

Exhaling, Beatrice lets his palms face up to hide Subaru's right hand wound and superimposes his own little palms on that palm.

nature, holding hands as fingers and fingers intertwined as they were invited,

"- Hear your wish. In the name of Beatrice, the contract is hereby made."

Strictly, Subaru lost his word in the figure of Beatrice, who tells him so.

And the overwhelming heat coming from the intertwined palms. It conveys its palms and goes to the whole body of Subaru, slamming it into the sieve into the body that had lost its vitality.

When he looked forward confused by the reaction of his body, which gets hot on the fence, Beatrice glanced at Subaru with a frivolous eye that even said he was heartfelt unwilling,

"Even tentatively, a contract is a contract. It's bound according to the ritual. That's absolute. I don't know about you. Please, let me ask you something."

You can thank me, and at the end of the day, Beatrice sees Subaru with her gaze from the top, even though it's from the bottom.

In response to that gaze, Subaru turned away from his face in an attempt to indulge in a wave of unclear emotions.

Blowing passions, unspoken sensations.

Not knowing how to handle a sole stretched out of an unexpected place, Subaru glanced at the heat of the palm that had been gripped,

"Seriously.... the toddler almost made me cry"

"You're not talking about toddlers or anything. - And if I tell you, I'll never forgive you."

"Too desperate. Seriously, there's a ghost on it."

Sincerely turned to a gaze of hostility only, Subaru responds with a bitter smile.

It was the fourth week, the first time around it, a small but definite laugh.
