Red Dead Redemption Dawn

Chapter 210: to encourage

At the mine camp on the northwest side of Daxueshan, John did not go to the hall to bake a fire, but chatted with Pearson in the kitchen.

"You know, I have very rich fighting skills, but there is always someone in the gang who is responsible for the food, and I happen to be one of the logistics of the Navy. So, I can do this job by me." Pearson side Making dinner, bragging to John in the chair.

"It can be seen that before you gain weight, your combat effectiveness must be amazing." John catered to him a few words.

"Haha~ I know you have a good eye. I think we can have a good chat." Pearson said very happily.

John didn't answer him.

"You know, you should really try what I make, in fact, I do a lot of food practices. But you know, I'm in charge of a dozen or twenty gang members now. Wait for me to prepare their food. Finished, I don't mind roasting a deer leg for you often, that's the treatment of a non-commissioned officer." Pearson continued with a smile.

"Are you serious?" John said in surprise.

"Of course, the more I look at you, the more pleasing to the eye. Hehe." Pearson pointed a little, with an expression that I was very optimistic about you.

"Then it seems that I have a good meal tonight." John took a sip of water from the kettle.

Then he vaguely heard some sounds from the air.

But this sound is too far away, but it doesn't last long.

On the other side, Pearson had walked into the room where the food was stored, and then came out with a deer's hind legs.

"This size is just right, I'm sure you will be impressed by me after eating it." Pearson said cheerfully.

He didn't feel the sound coming from the air.

"Need my help?"

"No, take a good look at the pretty boy, let me tell you what cooking is." After speaking, Pearson began to wash the deer legs in clean water.

John, on the other hand, was cooking by the kitchen fire with his legs crossed.

Waiting for Pearson's Sergeant to grill.

After six o'clock in the evening, John used a knife to cut the last piece of meat on the deer's leg and praised Pearson's skills.

"Mr. Pearson, I apologize for my arrogance and opinions some time ago. You can go to open a restaurant, and I will pay for you to be the cook." John said seriously.

This roasted deer leg tastes really good, some close to the previous life's barbecue. With the aroma of wine, Pearson seems to have poured half a bottle of navy rum, combined with some vanilla leaves, to remove the sandalwood smell from the deer's legs.

Overall, the taste is really good, worthy of the level of non-commissioned officers.

"Hahaha~~ I knew this was your reaction before I started making it." Pearson looked very proud.

Then came the sound of hooves.

John put down the deer bone in his hand, and then walked out of the kitchen towards the outside of the camp. Only the sound of hooves was heard getting closer, and a shadow appeared in the field of vision.

John took out his gun and asked loudly at the person in sight.

"Who is the person in front?"

"It's me! Mr. Wick." The leader responded loudly.

John put away his gun when he heard the voice, and said to him, "Welcome back, Dutch."

Watching five horses appear in front of me, Bill, Micah, Lenny, Javier, Dutch. Five people appeared in front of John.

"Where's Arthur? I don't seem to have seen him?" John asked casually as he walked back.

"He's in the back, maybe with a trophy, hahaha." Dutch said to John as he drove his horse to the camp stables.

"I'm glad you were dutifully guarding the camp, Mr. Wake."

"I can still do what I promised." John said and returned to the living room.

The people in the living room were all chatting around their own small circles, roughly a group of women and a group of men, but most of the men were taciturn. The pastor was reading a Bible while the uncle sat smoking a pipe. Charles was tickling his arm, and Hosea was reading by the hearth.

John's arrival was greeted by Hosea, "I hear hooves?"

"Well, Dutch and the others are back, and their 'visit' went well." John responded after sitting next to Charles.

"He also brought back a lot of booty."

As soon as John's words fell, they were pushed away by Javier and Bill.

"Woohoo~ this ghost weather." Bill came over while complaining.

Gu "I heard that things went well, did you catch the Colm guy?" the uncle on the side asked with a pipe.

"He left before we attacked, Hosea, Dutch asked you to go to the room to discuss something with him." Javier said to Hosea, who was reading a book on the side.

"Yes." Hosea nodded, then put away the book and eyes, and then walked towards Dutch's room.

"Huh~ The weather starts to freeze at night." Javier rubbed his hands and stood in front of the furnace wall.

"I think Dutch is in a good mood. What did you get?" John handed out a cigarette to everyone present.

"The map, the map the train passed by and the explosives they prepared. It seems to be a train traveling alone." Javier said uncertainly, smoking a cigarette.

"It seems that Dutch really wants to intercept this train, does it also carry a lot of cash?" John joked.

"Maybe it's something else, I didn't pay much attention to it." Javier shook his head and said he didn't know.

"Well~ I should go out and stand guard, see you later." After he finished speaking, he walked out with a cigarette in his mouth.

"This guy is the detective who brought Marston back?" asked Bill on the side.

"Yes, that's him." Javier nodded.

"Looks like a little white face." Bill commented briefly, smoking the cigarette John gave him.

"You can't look at his face, Arthur said his marksmanship was better than Marston, second only to that idiot Micah," Javier said.

"Besides, he is very good at tracking. He can quickly capture a white-tailed deer with Jenny's small oil bottle. He only pulled the bow once, and the arrow is accurate and deadly, faster than Charles and Arthur, don't look at him. Young, this detective is not easy." Javier told Bill to put away his underestimation of John.

"Javier, I heard you speak ill of me, you are the fuel bottle." Jenny responded loudly on the other side.

"Okay, okay, I apologize, Ms. Jenny." Javier said cheerfully to Jenny on the other side of the room.

"Listen to what you said, wait, are you talking about the same guy who went out just now?" Bill naturally maintained a skeptical attitude, John's harmless appearance was very deceptive.

"Maybe you can play with him a few times, I bet you can't win against him, I'll pay ten dollars." Javier urged Bill, who didn't quite believe it.

Listening to Javier's instigation, Bill thought for a while and then asked Charles who was on the side, "Charles, are you and Arthur going out hunting faster than him and Jenny?"

Charles glanced at Bill. "Well, he was half an hour ahead of me and Arthur."

"Aren't you a very good hunter?" Bill asked again.

"Like Javier said, you can go to him a few times, maybe he was just lucky and met a group of white-tailed deer when he came down the mountain." Charles looked at Bill, and after thinking for a while, he encouraged him.

Bill may not be smart, but when two teammates around him start to encourage him to do something, even if he is not smart, he knows that it must be a pit. "Forget it, I'm not too interested, and he looks pretty good." After thinking about it, Bill gave up his plan to have a few hands with John.

"However, I think Micah can try him. Isn't Micah the number one face in the world all day long?"

Javier looked at Bill, as if he still brooded about the fact that Micah punched him today and he didn't fight back.

"You can try to arrange it, but honestly, it sounds like a good thing to have someone teach Micah a lesson." Javier nodded after thinking for a while.

And John, who was lucky enough to escape one disaster and was about to fall into another disaster, was smoking a cigarette under the eaves of the camp entrance, and he would be standing guard here tonight.

After a while, there was another sound of hooves and noise~www.NovelMTL.com~ and then Arthur appeared in front of John.

John saw a man tied behind his horse.

"Your booty?"

"Hahaha~ The Odrico gang member I met on the road, Dutch let me catch him." Arthur said happily. It seems that today's visit has put Arthur in a much better mood.

"I'm not a member of the Odrico gang anymore, I swear, I hate him," the bound kid immediately pleaded.

"Shut up, idiot." Arthur yelled at him.

Then he said to John, "I'm going first."

"Hmm." John nodded.

The blizzard seems to be a bit heavier than this morning.

John looked at the night on the snowy mountain and thought.
