"Really, I'm sorry. I don't know. Come on."

Phoebea apologized once again with her head peeled down. How many times has this happened?

At first I saw Lekan, shaking and scared, but when I named him an adventurer who came with a request to serve, he suddenly pecked this time.

The request was to clean up the old man's garden called Phoebea because it collapsed and was dangerous.

I went to the scene wondering what the hell had happened, and I saw that the garden had collapsed.

I heard from Phoebea, and I know what's going on.

When building the outer walls of this town, a family of masons, who worked in the centre, originally lived here. The exterior walls were subsequently expanded or renovated, so large quantities of stone were stored here. Different types of stones were cut into squares and stacked.

After years of carrying out only the stones that were in demand, the remaining stones were piled up quite snobbishly. From here to there, I just meant to put it once, but I put more stones on top of it, and I was able to make a complicated and strange arrangement.

About twenty years ago, the family moved to another town. The dwelling part bought another family the right to live, but where the stone was located, there were no buyers.

Eventually, about a decade ago, Phoebea bought that sold land. Phoebea's daughter is getting married, and Phoebea sold off the house she lived in and made a bribe.

Her daughter dowried in a distant village, and Phoebea moved here to make vegetables almost in the clearing land where the stones were piled up. It was a boring life because there was a space in the depths where I could not even sleep, but I was not dissatisfied with Phoebea.

But last year, there was a small earthquake and the stone collapsed. All the vegetable fields were crushed, and the residential part almost collapsed. So now I'm having a hard time getting on the table, too.

Still, in the marginal clearance of the ground left behind, growing really just a few vegetables, the old Phoebea lives.

When I heard that this was the twelfth time I had made a request for service, Lekan gave up.

It's too tragic for me to come clean up twelve times. Couldn't you at least make the living and field parts a little wider?

Further to the story, it seems that the adventurers who have been here have cleared out small pieces of stone and debris and gone home to talk to the public with the old Phoebea.

"Large stones cannot be moved by human power." []/(exp, v5r) (uk) (uk) to make a scene/to make a scene/"

So how did the masonry carry the stone, but it served multiple monkey warcraft, and the wizard also seemed to be cooperating. That is something you cannot do without so much money.

When Lecan comes this time, Phoebea won't tell him to move any stones. Simply simmer out the unprecedented tea leaves made of handmade vanilla and sift them into a lecan.

Lecan, having finished his tea, looked around.

The grounds themselves are huge, so once you create space on the side of the Okinawa, or the outside wall, and carefully pile up stones there, you can take plenty of living space and fields. But I need time for that.

When taking this request, Ira said.

"Then, this is a good thing, but in the case of a request for service, it's fundamental to accomplish it in a day, and over time, the evaluation will be retrieved. But some clients deliberately delay their achievement certification and try to get them to do a lot of work. I don't think Phoebea is a sloppy person, but I suggest you just get the job done and get the coins for your accomplishments and go home."

Was that a word you knew about this situation in the field?

Lecan thought of the eleven adventurers who had come so far. I don't even know what kind of people came here, but I'm sure there are those who have learned remorse for leaving here without being able to do anything. Still, Phoebea may have been saved for trying to clean it up even slightly and for being the one to talk to even for just one day.

And also, I thought about the future of old Phoebea. As it is, we just have to get wet when it rains. Even if not, we should have been given a little more land to pick vegetables from. There is land. I have land that I bought my right to use with my own money. But the land is unusable.

"All right, let's get started"

"Oh. So, shall we do it?"

"You don't have to help. I'll do it."

Well, I'm sorry.

The old Phoebea tried to lower his back on the stone, but looked up as Lekan laid his hands on the stone in an unexpected position.

"Hey, hey, there you are. Don't move that. Yeah. If you move that, it's gonna be a big deal."

"Phoebea"

"Heh."

"Shut the fuck up."

Rekan put his hand on the giant stone, the top of the stack.

"Oh, oh. That's how it works..."

In front of the old Phoebea who tried to say there was no way to move, the stone moved easily. Lekan carried it away and set it aside.

Even if there are four strong men, they can't move one of these stones. Lekan's power is weak because he let him carry it alone.

"Phoebea"

"Heh, heh."

"To clear the stone on the wall, you need to move the stone on the wall first"

"Huh?"

"Today, even if I could, I'd best get rid of the stones on the wall. I'll do the rest tomorrow. If I can't do it by tomorrow, I'll do it the day after tomorrow. Until I can, I come every day."

At first it was Lecan, who was lightly carrying stones, but in time he got tired and his muscles started screaming. Still carried stones silently. At the same time as the sun went down, he left Phoebea's house. I could work in the dark, but my strength was more limited.

I thought of it and took a trip to the Adventurers Association. There was no sign of Ira, but another woman was at the counter, so the cleanup of the old Phoebea's house didn't end in a day, he reported.

I bought food at the stall, went back to the inn, paid for the inn, picked up the room, and had dinner. I also drank alcohol, washed my body with some water and slept well.

When I woke up the next morning, I ate the food I bought from the (storage) stall and headed to Phoebea's house.

Phoebea was surprised at Lecan's arrival much earlier. I've recommended tea over and over again, but turned it down and Lecan started carrying stones.

Yesterday's fatigue still persisted and the muscles in my body made a smudge and sound. At times like this, I envy the "rigidity" of the bow. With that ability and magic restorative medicine, all the work would be done in half a day. Even if not, with the awarded red treasure balls of "Health Recovery" and "Magic Recovery" exchanged with Princess Rubianafel, the task would have gone a little further. But Lecan doesn't have "rigidity". There is no red treasure ball now either. There is also no magic medicine to restore fatigue. So just shut up and bear the pain and carry the stone.

After noon there was plenty of room on the wall. Recan fed and ate from (storage) pretending to be like he had taken it out of his luggage bag. Two skewers were also presented to the old Phoebea.

That evening, the work progressed by about half.

The next day, my whole body had muscle aches since I woke up in the morning. Breakfast poured in with water. Walking to Phoebea's house was a pain.

I started working on it, but it wasn't very easy. Still, after noon, I could feel the fruits of the cleanup in sight.

"I'm sorry, but I have business today, so I'm going home now. I'll be back tomorrow."

"Ha. Really. Well, come on."

He turned his back to Phoebea, who bowed his head, and went back to the inn and took his room, and slept like a dead man.

Strangely enough, when I woke up the next morning, my muscle aches were healing a lot. I don't feel much weakness either.

The day's work went far. Large stones and small stones fit where they should fit in.

And by noon, it was all over. There was an amazingly wide ground there and a pile of stones built up so disappointingly that there was no need to worry about collapsing on the walls.

"Well, well, well, well"

An old Phoebea man is giving an inspiring voice. And I cried out.

After hearing that cry for a while, Lekan put his hand on Phoebea's back.

"Give me a coin to fulfill the request"

I bid farewell to old Phoebea, who asks me to definitely eat her meal, because I have business to attend to, and Lekan headed to the Adventurers Association.

"It took you four days."

Not to blame, not to praise, just quietly, Ira said.
