Never Judge

Chapter 120 - 120

After changing out of his disguise, Cedric joined Adrianna and Veronica at the cafe with Camilla in tow.

"Won't people find this suspicious?" Adrianna asked as Cedric took his seat.

"Right. Camilla you should sit too. So that we just look like office mates having coffee after a tiring event." Cedric said, pointing at the seat next to him.

"Sir, there are rumors again." Camilla said, handing Cedric a phone.

"Oh shoot." Cedric said lifting his left hand.

"You forgot to take off your wedding ring. You even used your left hand to hold the mic." Adrianna told him.

"I bet women are now claiming to be the young Mrs. Reyes." Veronica teased.

"Shouldn't you be going home with your brother?" Cedric hissed at Veronica. He didn't want another issue about his marriage.

"Don't drive Veronica away." Adrianna warned.

"I can get around on my own. Plus I'm mad at men right now." Veronica said as she went back to work.

"I don't think he did anything wrong this time Veronica. He's just as trapped in this arrangement as you." Cedric told Veronica in a calm voice.

"What do you plan on doing about the marriage issue?" Adrianna asked her husband in an attempt to change the topic.

"Do I have to do something about it?" Cedric asked Adrianna.

"What if some random woman claims to be your wife?" Adrianna asked.

"And who would she be trying to sway? Those that matter know the truth. They have met you and you have met them. I don't see the point." Cedric said.

"Really, just that?" Adrianna said, clearly unhappy with Cedric's answer.

"What do you want me to do? Release a statement saying that you're the Reyes Heir's wife?" Cedric said in a hushed tone. "That's the complete opposite of what you want."

"Figure it out." Adrianna said as she returned to focus on her work.

"I'm going back to the office." Cedric said as he stood up and stomped away.

"You know he is right." Veronica said without looking up. "It's pointless to say anything since we all know who you are."

Adrianna ignored Veronica's advice and continued to work quietly.

A group of noisy girls soon came into the cafe, this annoyed Veronica, who was trying to focus on her work.

"What's so interesting anyway that they need to talk so loudly?" Veronica grumbled.

"I didn't even notice the ring! Did you see what it looked like?" One of the girls asked her friend.

"I have some photos. Maybe we can look at them." Another girl giggled.

Adrianna normally didn't listen to other people's conversations, but the girls were talking so loudly that she couldn't help it.

"Oh my. It is there!" One of the girls said with a gasp.

"Who do you think it is?" Another girl asked.

"I heard he had an eight year love." Veronica said, unable to hold it in.

"An eight year love?" One of the girls slowly said.

"Yeah. He's so head over heels with that woman that he would do anything for her." Veronica said as she continued to work. At Veronica's words Adrianna began to blush.

"Wow, the young Mrs. Reyes must be truly amazing." A girl exclaimed.

"Maybe they were childhood sweethearts?" Someone asked.

"Hey wait. Aren't you Veronica? The famous designer? Aren't you friends with Ayanna Reyes?" One of the girls finally managed to recognize Veronica.

"Maybe we should leave, they've recognized you." Adrianna said as she began to close her laptop.

"Yup. That's me." Veronica said as she began to pack up her things.

"So you've met her?" The girl asked.

"Yup." Veronica said. "Adri, did you call your ride?" Veronica asked.

Adrianna just nodded. Despite everything she had been involved in the past in a rumor with the Reyes Heir. Of course that rumor was true, she was after all young Mrs. Reyes, and it was only appropriate for her husband to love her.

"And aren't you Adrianna Hernandez-Reyes? Isn't your husband the Reyes Heir's assistant? Wasn't there rumors that the Reyes Heir actually liked you?" The girl asked in a barrage of questions. Adrianna didn't know how to answer them, denying the last one would make it a lie.

When the other patrons at the cafe heard this they began to flock asking questions.

Luckily Mia was nearby and she managed to arrange for the bodyguards to escort Adrianna and Veronica out of the cafe and safely to Adrianna's car.

"Adri, look at what some sites are posting!" Veronica said as she showed Adrianna her phone.

Women everywhere claim to the the young Mrs. Reyes

According to a young woman from an illustrious family, she and the Reyes Heir were married over the Christmas holidays. However, she isn't the only one. Since an event earlier today fans spotted the mysterious Reyes Heir wearing a wedding ring, however no confirmation yet from the Reyes Group.

There was another post, but this time it was from a gossip forum.

Spotted! V confirms that the Reyes Heir is married to his long time lover.

Question? Why was V with a married Miss A at Elisia Malls?

It was a forum talking about how Veronica confirmed that the Reyes Heir was married and how she was seen hanging out in the same mall with Adrianna, who in the past was linked to the Reyes Heir.

Suddenly a notification popped up in Veronica's phone.

Press Conference of the Reyes Group: LIVE NOW

Adrianna tapped it and watched with Veronica.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the press, Mr. Emilio Reyes and his wife Mrs. Priscilla Reyes is with us now. Please allow them to finish their statements before asking any questions." The host said as the voices in the background quieted down.

From what Adrianna could make out, the press conference was being held outside of R Tower. She slowly saw her in-laws come up to the microphone. Emilio Reyes III did not look his age, he actually looked younger than he actually was. He had a bright smile on and yet you could feel that this man could end your life with a word. Next to him was her mother in law, Adrianna knew how sweet and gentle the elder Mrs. Reyes was. In front of such a crowd however, she looked every bit the business woman she actually was.
