Mysteries of the Earthsea

Chapter 39: Vampire join

Waiting for the Narwhal to return to Coral Island again, it was already a month later.

Getting new clues from the ground, Charles couldn't wait to go to the chaotic city of Sodom, but the crew couldn't hold it anymore.

Giant butterflies, gods, vampires, the experience of this journey is full of exhaustion on everyone's face.

Charles did not embarrass them. He knew that everyone was not an iron man. The crew needed rest, and the Narwhal also needed it.

The temporarily pressed turbine was overwhelmed, and coupled with the damage to the hull of the sound wave, the Narwhal needed overhaul.

Standing on the boat, Charles touched the edge of the boat heartily, and said in a low voice, "Thanks for your hard work, companion."

"Mr. Charles, your voyage seems a bit unsuccessful. Are there any dangers? Why is the damage so great?"

It was Wood who sold it to Charles Ship.

Wood was surprised at this time. He didn't expect that he would still see the ship one day. He thought that the ship would have sunk long ago.

He suddenly had a hunch that the young man in front of him might really have a chance to become the governor of the island.

"How much does it cost?" Charles didn't have the time to chat with others.

Wood quickly handed over the bill. "Replacement of turbines, plus heavy armor plates. Repair costs total 1.21 million echoes."

signed his name on the bill, and Charles estimated his remaining funds in his heart.

The previous 1.6 million echoes deducted the maintenance cost and removed the crew’s salary. Now there is only 150,000.

It seems quite a lot, but for the funds of an exploration ship, this is a dangerous value. If there is no income for the next route, then the entire Narwhal will not operate.

The next time he planned to go to Sodom on the route, he was destined to be unpaid, which made him very embarrassed.

Charles walked outside the shipyard while thinking.

As soon as he came out, he saw Audrick with sunglasses standing by the roadside, as if waiting for him. "What are you doing here?"

"Mr. Charles, is there still a shortage of people on your boat? Please allow me to be your crew." A somewhat excited Audrick lowered his head toward the footsteps in front of him.

"Sorry, my crew is full." After Charles resolutely refused, he passed by him and walked towards the distant dock.

is not to discriminate against him as a vampire, but it is impossible to have a blind man on any ship. What can a blind man who can paint come to the ship to paint portraits for the crew?

Before he could take a few steps, an anxious Audrick rushed forward with a groping. "Captain Charles, I am not a cumbersome, I have been promoted, I have new abilities."

The black cloak covered the blind vampire and wriggled constantly. After just two seconds, a black bat flew up and down Charles.

"Captain Charles, I am already a baron. I already have the ability to transform. When I become a bat, I can see without my eyes."

Looking at the bat that was half the size of his arm, Charles shook his head. He flipped his right hand, and the revolver appeared in his hand instantly.

With a "pop", the bat fell to the ground and turned back into a blind vampire. He covered his injured left shoulder with a painful expression.

"If you want to survive, you should be your painter."

Listening to the sound of footsteps drifting away, Audrick hesitated for two seconds and suddenly shouted: "Captain! Are you not going to Sodom to find sunshine? I went there 40 years ago, I can lead the way!!"

"Without your help, I have a way."

With anxiety on his face, Audrick quickly said again: "Mr. Charles! I can be your powerful combat power. Although I am blind, I am a vampire after all. My combat power is only higher than your crew. !!!"

After a long time, Charles’s voice rang in his ear, "Aren’t you afraid of the sun? Why follow me?"

A wry smile appeared on Audrick's face. "Speaking of which, you may not believe it. The salary of your crew for one mission is something I can't earn for several years. I am envious. I don't want to have too much extravagance. I just want to have a job and live a stable life. Just go down."

Looking at the vampire in front of him, Charles had a strange expression. He was the first time he saw such a miserable vampire.

"Captain Charles? Are you still there?"

"You count as the sailor of the Narwhal."

   "Thank you, Captain!!!"

Through eight years on August 3

I and my crew arrived safely on Coral Island three days ago.

The blind vampire joined my team. His character is a bit weak and I am not very satisfied, but it shouldn't be a problem to be a sailor. His ability to transform into a bat can be used as a watcher at critical moments.

Vampires have powerful healing powers. The last batch of sailors are all dead. I need to find something that is not easy to die.

Next, I plan to go to Sodom to find the kind of sunlight that can be put in a box. If it is really sunlight, there must be a way to the surface.

"Crack." The door was pushed open.

Charles, who was writing his diary, turned his head and saw Lily with droopy ears walking in with the mice.

"Where have you been?" Charles asked. UU Reading www.uukānshu.com

The frustrated Lily crawled along the bed sheet to the pillow, and succumbed to it. "I won't tell you..."

Charles shook his head and put the diary together and stood up. "I'll go out and take good care of the house."

The head of the mouse buried in the soft pillow stood up. "Mr. Charles, where are you going?"

"Today Saturday, all the captains should come to the Explorers Association to gather. I'll see if there is any news."

"Sounds very interesting! Take me to play!"

"Look at the house well." The indifferent Charles opened the door and walked out.

Seeing that the door was closed mercilessly, Lily thumped the pillow in anger. "Mr. Charles, what annoying!"

After a few hard punches, she leaned her body onto the pillow. "Hmph, don't take me to my sleep. I will annoy you when you sleep at night."

A little bit of time passed, and Lily dazedly was startled by a knock on the door.

Lily looked a little flustered when she looked at the door of the room that was knocking loudly. "Who? Who! No one inside!"

With a "click", the door lock was forcibly broken, and a terrifying tentacle monster appeared at the door.

Seeing the twisted tentacles and huge angry eyes, Lily screamed in fright, and the brown rats immediately surrounded her, showing their fangs at the intruder.

The ferocious tentacle monster saw the screaming mouse, and its body changed rapidly. An adult woman with a **** body appeared in the room.

Lily stared at the beautiful woman in front of her. She knew the woman, who was drawn by a blind painter.

"It turned out that a mouse scared me. I just heard a woman's voice. I thought Gao Zhiming was stealing food behind my back."
