"Tryndall. You busy at the moment?" Sending a message to the other person he planned to inform about the group of five, Valyr took in a deep breath as he waited for Tryndall to reply back. Doing a couple warm-ups to make sure that his body wouldn't feel sore by the time he got home, a new wave of spiders soon appeared through the opened gates, prompting him to use [Analysis] on them to see if them ascending to Rank 2 significantly increased the difficulty.

Ding!

Unsurprisingly, one of the spiders now posed a significant threat to Valyr, considering that the gap in their agility was now easily surmountable as long as they relied on their numbers. Nevertheless, rather than feeling fear from the situation, Valyr instead grinned as he activated [Offense Aura] and [Defense Aura] as his body was filled to the brim with excitement, finally using some of the offensive skills he owned in his repertoire.

"[True Blood Drive]."

Whoosh!

As a jet of blood vapor shot out of the dull end of the spear, Valyr swiftly closed the gap between him and the spiders, catching the latter unaware as he swept out once more with his spear.

"[Robust Arms]."

Bang!

With his strength momentarily improved thanks to the skill, the force behind the sweep was enough to send the spiders flying, all of them crashing into the pit walls as Valyr made his way to one of the spiders.

Ding!

Activating [Strong Pierce], Valyr swiftly thrust his spear out as the force behind it was enough to make the spider's head explode. At the same time, a notification sound resounded in his mind as he made his way to the four remaining spiders, prompting him to take a brief look into it as he knew the notification came from Tryndall.

"Not really. What seems to be the matter?" Feeling a slight grin creep up on his face as he read through the message, Valyr hastened his pace a slight bit, dealing with three of the four remaining spiders with a stab to the head, a [Strong Pierce], and then a [Descending Fang] respectively.

Pondering over how he was going to segue into talking about the group of five, he then took care of the last remaining spider with a [Tyrannous Bite], making its head disappear in front of the staff watching him fight as they all witnessed a headless spider eventually fall limp to the ground.

With shock written all over their faces, wondering as to what skill Valyr might have used at the very end to render the last spider dead, the latter decided to take a break for now, deciding to get the conversation with Tryndall over with before proceeding to continue grinding for XP. Though conversing with Arcenne through the chat function while fighting wasn't really that taxing, he did feel like it had hampered his combat efficiency a slight bit.

With that, he went through the passage that led out of the pit as he told the staff that he was going to take a quick break for now, heading towards the table of refreshments and rejuvenation potions. Grabbing one of the stamina potions, he took a seat near the table before downing the contents of the flask in one go, instantly feeling the effects of the potion not long after as he felt ready to do what he did earlier once more.

However, instead of acting upon this impulse, he instead focused on his conversation with Tryndall for now, eventually coming up with a response to Tryndall's earlier message. "Not much. I just wanted to talk about the group of five that helped us out in our final operation."

"The one from the Imperial Production Guild? What about them?" Reading through Tryndall's response to his words, Valyr was left pondering for a while as to what he was going to say after that, his eyes briefly widened in shock. Though, in the end, he eventually decided to go with…

"Since when did you know?"

"Ever since you left the coliseum, I guess," Tryndall told him. "Also, I already know the fact that you've been chosen as a candidate for the Four Pillars' Inheritance. Already felt like that was a no-brainer after using the saber you forged for me. With that in mind, let me congratulate you in advance."

"Huh…" At that moment, Valyr went silent for a long while as the question of how popped up in his mind, specifically how Tryndall already knew all of what he was about to say. Of course, he already knew the answer to his question, which was the subject of his curiosity ever since he had worked with Tryndall on the Clossbay Killer incident, only for it to intensify further once Braum and the others appeared.

With that, it did not take long for him to reply back to Tryndall with the question he really wanted to ask him. "For you to know all of this before I could even tell you… what kind of status do you really have in the Adventurer's Guild?"

Hopeful to obtain a quick response from Tryndall, Valyr was instead left waiting for quite some time, which was something that he had already expected to happen. Letting his friend take his time, he took a glass of refreshments from the table, containing a cold liquid that was bright blue in color.

Taking a sip of the drink, he instantly felt his body cool down and relax as he continued waiting for his friend's response. Eventually, after a few minutes of waiting, a notification sound resounded in his mind, prompting him to take a look at the message Tryndall had sent him.

"Though I don't really mind telling you outright what my position in the guild is, there are many people telling me to not do that, lest you go around telling others of my position." Reading these words, a bitter smile appeared on Valyr's face, thinking that Tryndall knew he wasn't the kind of person to do something like that… which made him softly chuckle once he read the next part of his friend's message.

"Of course, I have a strong feeling you're not that kind of person. However, since I'm being restricted by others, I can only tell you that with my authority, I can help you with anything you need as long as you ask me."

"Then again, it's not like you'll only find out once you're at your deathbed. At some point, I'll be allowed to tell you of my position, but unfortunately, that time isn't now."

"In due time, my friend. Once that time comes, you'll find it out directly from me."

"For now, it'll have to be a secret I need to keep."
