Me, Adventurer! - Undoubled Skills Are Flat Magic

Episode 19 - Meaninglessly Fun With Lots Of Dungeons

In the end, I turned the rest of the wood into firewood. That was faster.

Carrying some of the cut firewood over the inago cube (tentative) was also done by me using Skywalk. I knew I could open my mouth and get scolded, but I'm not going in there anymore. Tired, spiritually.

When it was time for the sun to fall, a fire was finally put in the firewood. Going to light the fire, lit with firecrackers and large sawdust, also on the firewood above, the sunset trying to sink into the western hills appeared somewhat larger. I guess it's sunny tomorrow.

I didn't quite light the fire because it was a raw tree, but once it started burning, it gained momentum with white smoke. From now on, we will continue to burn this fire overnight, taking turns. So let's burn the eggs inside with that fever.

At dawn, there was no firewood, and the treatment was completed successfully. Inago cubes (tentative) are still emitting high temperatures, and there is a rise in pneumonia around them. There will be no more eggs survived by boulders. I don't feel anything when I explore it with sign perception, and I guess this makes me feel safe. There's still some inago left from here north, but it won't be enough to cause locust damage. I think it's a natural balance area.

After a brief breakfast with the food I brought, I got home. The Inago Cube (tentatively) is left intact. Mr. Vincent said,

"A huge box of mysteries suddenly appearing on a plain of nothing. If the village develops from now on, it will be one of the highlights of tourism.

That was it. Boulder merchant, you're a commercial sprinter for everything. Since it is a corner, it was carved into one of the sides of the Inago Cube (tentative): 'The village of Dantes, 10 lees (about 30 km) south of this'. Was it too big for a sign?

Well, it's in the carriage home.

"You're not hiding anything anymore, are you?

It's interrogation time again. I thought it was awkward, but it didn't seem so sweet.

"... I do... but I'll talk to you when I get back to the village.

"Can't we talk now?

"I can talk, but I need you to take a look at something.

"Right, okay. Then I'll have him talk to me when I get to the village.

"Yeah, well, I'll be back first to get ready. Oh, Mr. Vincent, if you have an extra bag, lend it to me? A little big-eyed guy.

I borrowed a large, coarse-eyed head bag from Mr. Vincent, and I jump straight off the carriage and run out. The destination is the big rock west of the village, my treasure dump.

As I was headed to the village with a bag full of them, I found signs of a carriage just returning. I thought I might have trouble going back alone and decided to rendezvous and go home. After that, I went back to the village with no problems, and me, my father and my mother were going straight to the village chief's house.

"Actually... I used to walk out of the village sometimes to the woods.

As soon as I confessed so, the breathtaking sound and the crunchy air wrapped around me. The village chiefs and Mr. Vincent, who were there, seemed surprised to find no words.

"This, you idiot!

It was the sound of Dad's anger and fist bones that broke that air. This is absolutely Tankob!

"Damn, it's just dangerous, Dad. I've never forgiven you!

"But no one's ever told me, 'Don't go to the woods' or 'Don't go out of the village'!

Reject as you rub your head with both hands. Yes, it's too obvious, no one's ever paid attention to it before.

"Gu... well...

Dad seems to be stuck with words.

"But you knew it wasn't a good idea that you were hiding away in silence, right?

Gu, a precise point was made by the village chief. A boulder.

"... yeah. But I wanted to go.

I am not willing to regret or reflect. I acted because I thought it was necessary for the future, that's all.

"... well. So, he said he wanted to show you something, is that it?

You mean let's just move on, or the village chief will point to the bag he has next to me with his jaw.

Oh, now we're all sitting around and talking to the broad boardroom in the village chief's house, about 20 tatami, kind of like a kendo yard. It's a room that I use to gather things that were the main ones and have discussions, etc. Naturally, everyone is taking off their shoes.

"Yeah, it's a loot in the woods.

That's how you open the mouth of the bag and punch the stuff inside over the floor. The contents are demonic stones that I have collected so far.

"Nah!? Is this all Demon Stone!?

"Yeah, it's a demon stone I collected from demons I hunted in the woods. I think there are maybe 2000 of them.

Also, everyone on the spot is out of line. Several times since yesterday. No, you have no right to say anything to me that's the cause.

"So much... Vincent, I'm sorry, please.

"Ha, yes, I've never seen so many demon stones either.... Shh, wow, this has 1 su (about 3 cm)! This alone makes one large gold coin hard!... WHAT IS THIS!? Nearly 1 1/2 Sue! Whether Dorton even gets one every few years, this is!! 10 big gold coins wouldn't be weird if you put them out for auction!!

"Hey, is that it?!? How much the hell is it going to cost in all of it!?

"And wait a minute, how many minutes, because there are so many...

Oh, it seems to be more appreciated than I thought.

Mr. Vincent's fingertips are trembling. It seems too expensive and nervous. There have been too many things since yesterday, and the mental load seems high. It's probably my fault. I'm sorry.

"... well, I don't think you'll know unless you assess it in the guild for more information, but in my view, 100 large gold coins won't drop.

"Hey so much!?

"Yes, Demon Stone is always lacking, so there is usually no price drop, but if this amount circulates to boulders, there may be a temporary price drop. 100 large gold coins considering that amount.

Whoa, are you serious!? Wow! That's more than I thought. One large coin is worth about 1 million yen, over 100 million yen! Big forest demons make a lot of money! An adventurer is a profession.

"All the demon stones were slightly over half a sou (about 1.5cm) in size, and there were over 100 demon stones over a sou. Because, as you know, in relation to demand and supply, if the size exceeds half a sou, the price will be disproportionate.

Oh, and was that so highly regarded? Me, all the demons were hunted without great difficulty, so I only had the impression that the size of the demon stone was' oh, this guy was pretty big, you had it '. I knew you couldn't be ignorant. We need to know more about the world.

"Right... Beat, what do you want to do with this demon stone?

"You make 90% of your slaves, you're your husband, 10% of your own, right? So 90% of it belongs to the village chief, right?

It's up to the village chief what to do with the demon stone. I'm sure they'll use it for the development of the village.

"Oh, was that a little hard to solve? I mean, what do you want to do with 10% of your money?

Whoa, is that question coming here? But the answer to that is already decided. That's what I've decided since right after I was born. "Up to 100 Souls of the Three Sons", but "Up to seven Souls of the Newborn". Is that a big deal at all?

"I want to buy me out. I'm no longer a slave, and I want to be an adventurer.

"... I see.

"Beat, oh man...

Finally, I made a public announcement. I don't think there's any choice in this flow. Speaking of which, I never even told Mom and Dad, they both look surprised. I keep seeing each other's faces, my face, the village chief's face, what to do with it.

The village chief looked difficult for a little while and thought about it, but eventually he slowly looked up and said this.

"All right, beat, get to the surface. It's a fight with me.

How did this happen?
