Me, Adventurer! - Undoubled Skills Are Flat Magic

Episode 186: The Deepest of Raptor Island!

I'll keep an eye on it first, and if there's anything unusual, I'd better head there. It should be more efficient than exploring into the dark clouds. So fly the carriage (...) and go around the island.

"Not a very big tree."

"Maybe you don't have a water vein. Rain alone will limit growth."

Cristella hugs me and keeps my blindfold (...) Spill that feeling. It's the same height phobia measure, but I think I understand how it goes with the quantification by 'balance magic'.

Sure, there's no big tree like he was carrying a flying stone in some cartoon. Growing on the slopes of the island are all shrubs less than five metres long, with thin branches. As far as I can see, there are no rivers or ponds, so I guess there's no water veins on this island. Without water, trees can't grow either.

"By the way, there's a pretty big hole in there, but is that the nest or the silly one of the Fei Long (Wyburn)?

"Yeah, maybe so. There's a blue and black sign of a flying dragon in the back, so I'm pretty sure."

There are occasional holes of about three metres in diameter on the slopes of the island. I sent in a particle to check it out, and it looks like it's going about ten meters in the back. It's hard to tell because of the acceleration control magic that covers the island, the wind magic, but I can feel signs of a flying dragon from there. Apparently, Fei Long digs a hole in the slope to build a nest.

Little is known about the demonic ecology, not just the Fei Long, except for some livestock. If I try to find out, they'll eat me. Even if it just turns out that its nest of flying dragons is a slope hole, it could be valuable information for mankind. I already know and have confirmed the information that the meat is delicious.

"Boy, are you a little 'intimidated'? You're not coming out at all, Flying Dragon."

"Well. I've had enough meat, so I thought I'd kill you for nothing."

As Samantha pointed out, the flying dragon trying to come out of the back of the hole is being sent to kill and atrophy at a pinpoint. Real mole slapping. No, you're closer to gunshooting. Shooting of the Wyburn?

The carriage is already filled with seafood from Ende and meat from the frozen Fei Long. I can't put any more on it, and it's a waste to dispose of. You won't have to hunt anymore.

Besides, Fei Long is supposed to be the apex of the ecosystem around here. Too much hunting could upset the ecosystem balance. The nearer the apex of the ecosystem, the greater the impact on the environment even if the number of individuals increases or decreases slightly. I need a planned dragon capture (...).

"Fei Long is also a fearful child adventurer... I think something is wrong"

"... that Fei Long also learned of the fear of being eaten"

"Oh. But it's delicious, so you can't help it. Ugh."

Hmm, you mean I'm near the top of the ecosystem, too? That could have a huge impact on my surroundings when I'm gone. Let's just say we live hard. I don't think it's possible that living right now is having a negative impact on the environment.

"Oh, there's a big cave over there, too. Yay. Is that a Fei Long's nest or something?

About half way around the island, Kikka discovered a huge cave worn on the slopes of the middle belly of the mountain. Boulder Sea Elves, I have good eyes.

Its cave is about five meters high and about eight meters wide, formed in a beautiful arch shape, up to a balcony-like square in front. It's as if they were made artificially. Apparently it's pretty deep in the back, and I can't foresee it in the dark. Hmm.

"Sounds like Fei Long isn't here. Looks pretty deep in the back. All right, let's go down there."

"You're finally making your first landing on Raptor Island, which is untouched by mankind! Once again, Beat's name will be added to the history page!

"The history of this era is already filled by the boy's name alone," he said.

"Oh! You're right, Mr. Samantha! Boulder, you know!!"

No, I think my name's only on the nobility inventory yet, huh? I do a lot of things, but basically because I'm doing it in hiding.

Well, if you're an adventurer (...), it's not weird to go for a land without a trail. If we achieve the feat of first arrival, we will have a name in history, and if we keep a record, we will be evaluated as material.

But I'm an adventurer (...). It's more business than greatness. More profitable than honor, it's a treasure. Anything good?

The cave is slowly descending as it draws a gentle spiral clockwise. It looks like it's headed towards the center of the island. The ground is as flat as it was tidied and although there are some pebbles, there is no problem running the carriage.

I don't feel any signs from the end of the cave. If that's what I think it is, that's for sure.

"Then let's not all go outside the carriage. Because I don't know what it is."

"Ugh, you can't help it. I'll be patient with the view from your stand."

"Pee, Pee is with my dad."

In the interest of safety, everyone is asked to move every carriage. It's just me and Woo and Pea out there. The carriage is flat defensive to the bottom, so unless I die in one blow, we won't all be suddenly pinched.

The truth is, I want Woo and Pea in the carriage, too, but I'm afraid they're going to get stressed out and run wild. I was in the carriage the whole time I climbed up from below. Wow, I can't believe you're not even in the Fei Long Battle. Well, I had no choice because I couldn't fight.

If you act abruptly, you may not get my support in time. Then it's easier to keep it out from the start and support it with planar magic from the start.

We can all go outside if we do the same, but from here on out, it's an unknown realm. I want to keep my magic as warm as possible. The same goes for everyone else's magic.

If my predictions are correct, if it comes down to fighting the strong magic bearers ahead, I may not have room to protect everyone. It is better to keep the magic as warm as possible to increase everyone's chances of survival.

"Are you such a dangerous opponent? I can't imagine a man you can't beat."

"I'm not invincible either. The sea lions and the sea lions are natural enemies."

"Insects in small fish... strong people aren't like the athletes to their weaknesses"

"Deception"

"Umi, but the eagles at that time, they didn't have to be the bosses to suck. Even fish lovers were scared."

I don't know what you're going through.

"What do you mean? Learn more, tell me,"

"(Cocksucking)"

"Ugh, yeah. That's..."

What a story everyone is talking about, me and Woo, Pea go back down the cave. So far, I haven't met any traps or demons. Sometimes there are signs of a flying dragon, but from the other side of the outer wall. I guess a nest hole is dug close to the cave.

Woo occasionally smells the ground and chases Pea as she circles around me. Sounds fun. You can put it in alert mode instantly when the danger is imminent.

Pea is Pea, and he's circling around me with Woo, or he's ahead without even asking to stop him, and he's falling against the wall in the darkness that doesn't reach the lights. Are you a bird's eye, after all? I don't get hurt because I'm coated in the plane, but he's a little cute coming back with tears and a pencil jump.

While we were doing that, we apparently made it to the end.

The end of the cave was a hall about a hundred meters square, nicely maintained with white stone. The height to the ceiling would be about twenty meters. I don't see any joints on the floor or on the ceiling.

Columns about one meter in diameter are arranged at equal intervals of about ten meters. The material looks the same as the floor and ceiling, but I still don't see any joints. It would have been made of dirt magic.

And on the wall opposite the direction we came in, there's a kannon opening door the size of which reaches the ceiling. Sounds like an elaborate sculpture on the surface, but a little too abstract to be sure what's carved.

"Is this... a temple, is it?

Cristella looked around and groaned sighingly. It whispered but sounded strangely loud in the quiet hall.

And maybe that's right. But only half. I don't even know what God's temple is. At least it wouldn't be a major god. But you'll see that from now on, too. If you go beyond that door.

Now, shall we go and worship your body?

Two, two, give me a round of applause, okay?
