Forty-Six: Good and Evil Will Be Rewarded

Being stared at by the dead, Yamada was shrouded in coldness.

Sachiko Yoshino is dead.

Died in the summer long ago, in the night of cicadas singing.

Yamada didn’t go to worship, but he remembered that she committed suicide.

He couldn’t develop the courage to fight against it at all, a gust of cold wind blew over, he took a step back, and fell on the entrance door.

“you you……”

“Are you here… to seek revenge on me?”

Yamada looked embarrassed and his voice was dry.

Sachiko Yoshino took a step forward, and the lights in the room began to flicker.

“For eight years, I have always wanted to tear you into pieces…”

“It’s just that you’re not the one I want to kill the most, so I saved you until the end.”

She lightly licked her fingers, the nails were painted bright red.

“Finally?” Yamada asked with difficulty: “How many people did you kill?”

“I don’t remember very much.” Yoshino Sachiko tilted her head: “Maybe eight? Maybe a dozen? It’s not easy to find those who are hiding… It took a lot of time, but I finally found them one by one. They, plucked out their eyes, plucked out their hearts, hung them from beams with their entrails.”

Yamada opened his mouth, and lowered his head regretfully: “I’m sorry, really, I’m sorry…”

“Oh? Sorry?”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” Yamada knelt down on the ground, grabbed the ground with his head, and apologized heavily: “I’m sorry, I didn’t expect such a result at all.”

“Hahaha.”

Sachiko Yoshino showed a bewitching smile, so sarcastic, she had heard such words too many times.

Before facing the threat of death, people would kneel down and beg for mercy, crying and confessing their sins.

But does it make sense?

To the deceased, it is meaningless.

Even though Yamada has been blaming himself for this for eight years, willing to bear the cross of guilt… For those who have lost and those who refuse to rest in peace, the only acceptable result is to pay in blood!

Just like that tombstone.

Forgive me, it’s not as easy as it says!

“I will forgive you.”

Sachiko Yoshino bent down and lightly tapped Yamada’s face with her fingers. Her smile was charming and bright, she said with a smile.

Yamada raised his head tremblingly: “Really?”

The smile changed in an instant, and the corners of the mouth were torn all the way to the base of the ears. The mouth opened with sharp fangs.

“After you die!”

With a light swipe of the finger, it was like a knife cutting flesh. A hideous wound was torn from the forehead to the side of the face, and the flesh rolled out.

Yamada lay on the ground clutching his bloody face, screaming continuously.

“Face, my face…”

“What’s it called? It’s just an incision. The pain I felt back then was a thousand times better than this!”

Sachiko Yoshino stuck out her tongue to lick the blood from her fingertips.

“When I killed them, I also tortured them for a full seven hours. You are lucky…you can choose a quicker way to die.”

Yamada covered his face due to the severe pain and smiled miserably.

It’s his own fault for such a result.

He walked out of the small mountain village with longing in his heart, and wanted to step up to the position of master.

After graduating from university, I went to a Buddhist temple to ask a master to change the name of Cizi. The eminent monk looked at him and wrote him the word “benevolence”.

He only thought that the other party looked down on him. Although he accepted the calligraphy and painting, he discarded them like a pair of shoes and threw them in the corner without hanging them up.

Perhaps, from that moment on, his life was destined to usher in this kind of result.

Neither did he stick to the way of benevolence from the beginning; nor did he completely abandon his conscience and become a villain.

“Evil comes with evil…” Yamada smiled miserably and murmured in a low voice.

He was lying on the ground, powerless to resist, watching Sachiko Yoshino’s raised hand, a shadow enveloped his body.

“Retribution, retribution.”

The middle-aged man closed his eyes silently, waiting for death.

wait.

It’s not long.Three to five seconds ticked by, but the pain never came.

Yamada opened his eyes weakly, and what he saw in his eyes were sharp claws dripping with blood.

The nails were sharp, and the claws seemed to grow out of the flesh, almost touching his face, but they couldn’t touch it within a few centimeters.

He could see the distortion and hatred on Yoshino Sachiko’s expression, but he really couldn’t understand why she would stop.

The subconscious shift of sight.

He saw an extra hand on the back of Yoshino Sachiko’s head. That hand locked her hair and clasped her fingers tightly.

The more she wanted to move forward, the tighter she pulled her hair.

“Let go!” Yoshino Sachiko turned her head in pain, her claws slammed into the protruding hand behind her.

But she quickly became numb.

A huge force struck, grabbed her hair, pulled her body weighing hundreds of catties, dragged her out of the apartment room, and threw her down the corridor on the third floor.

The screams and roars of the wild beasts resounded along with the sound of falling to the ground.

Yamada’s eyes were soaked with sweat and blood. He rubbed his eyes vigorously, trying to see who came.

He didn’t try to see clearly until the man approached and stretched out his hand in front of his eyes.

“Master Bai…”

“Yes.” Bai Wei said, “It’s me.”

“Why did you come here?” Yamada asked weakly.

“If I don’t come, you won’t survive tonight.” Bai Wei said, “Can you stand up?”

“Ah, thank you.” Yamada held the other’s hand and was helped up.

The corridors were shaking. There seemed to be something terrifying rampaging in some old apartment corridors, and the sound was getting closer.

“Don’t worry, since I’m here, that thing won’t hurt you.” Bai Wei said in a calm and confident tone.

“How can I trouble you so much?” Yamada panicked, clutching his bleeding wound, “It’s my crime, and it’s the revenge I should have taken.”

“Maybe.” Bai Wei did not deny it.

“Then let me…”

“Good will be rewarded with good, and evil will be rewarded with evil.” Bai Wei’s words were earnest.

“How to repay the evil you have done is your business; standing here is my affirmation of the good you have done.”

“If this is a karmic retribution, this is the reward for your eight years of accumulation of good deeds and sincere repentance.”

“If no one comes to affirm your good deeds, I will affirm them!”

“Bad people should have karma.”

“Good people should be rewarded with good rewards.”

Bai Wei walked out of the room and walked towards the source of the vibration.

Yamada stared blankly at Bai Wei’s back.

Suddenly, the eyes became more blurred, and the bridge of the nose felt sour.

He was a little out of strength. He wanted to hold on to the table beside him, but he staggered and fell to the ground.

He covered his face with his hands, tears streaming down from between his fingers.

Not because of fear, not because of fear.

Even before he died, he never thought of crying.

Now, no matter what, he couldn’t suppress his emotions and just wanted to cry.

“A good man deserves good rewards.”

“A person like me…is he considered a good person?”

“thanks, thanks……”

The middle-aged man covered his face, bent over, and put his face on his knees, suppressing his crying.

Tears and blood mixed and dripped down the palm of his hand.

Dirty, yet clear.
