Chapter 6 Confession

Meow~meow~

The little orange cat kept yelling at Luke in Hermione’s arms.

“It seems to Luke that this kitten likes you very much. Do you want to take it home and raise it?”

Luke looked at James, “Dad, can I take it home?”

James looked at the little orange cat, it was still a little milky cat, there should be no wildness, so he said, “Okay, we will send Hermione back to the town and take it to the pet hospital for a check. You can bring it back if there is no problem. Domesticated.”

“Get in the car, it’s getting late. Mom will be waiting at home for a while.” James urged.

In the car

“Luke, what are you going to name this little guy?” Hermione asked.

Luke’s biggest headache is naming…

Suddenly, there was a flash of inspiration, and I remembered another famous cat, and said, “How about it’s called’Gaffe’?”

As if responding to Luke, the kitten gave a “meow~” cry.

“Gaffey, Garfield, a nice name.” It seemed that Hermione agreed with the name.

From the Holy Place in London, it was only ten minutes’ drive to Hermione’s house. Hermione’s parents greeted her as soon as the car stopped at the door.

“Dad, mom, I’m back.” Hermione hugged Garfield and ran over.

“Hermione! I can’t run around by myself next time! Thank you for sending her back, sir.” Hermione’s father said, looking at several people.

“It doesn’t matter, your daughter is very cute, and my son may be blamed for this. Your daughter ran to find him for an autograph.” James said with a slight embarrassment.

“Then thank you for bringing her back. We didn’t see her just now, so we were really worried.”

“You can call me James, this is my son Luke.”

“Hello, uncle, auntie.” Luke also stepped forward to greet Roar.

“You are Luke, the author of “The Lion King”. I didn’t expect to be able to write a book at such a young age. James come in and sit down. I’ll make you a cup of coffee. What kind of Luke would you like to drink? Can you drink juice?”

“Yes, thank you uncle.”

“Then I will trouble you.” James and Luke followed the Granger family into the house.

“Her father and I are both dentists. I was too busy today to take her to the signing party. Hermione liked this book very much, but she didn’t expect she ran away by herself.” Mrs. Granger said.

“Mom~” Hermione was a little embarrassed to be said.

Hermione suddenly remembered something and ran to Luke and asked in a low voice, “Luke, you said I want to tell my parents about magic now? I don’t want them to worry about me.”

Luke thought for a while: Now that Hermione is 7 years old, it is 4 years away from going to Hogwarts. The Grangers also love Hermione very much. They really shouldn’t worry about it for so long. Sooner or later, we must know that Hermione should have A wonderful childhood.

So he said: “Well, tell them now, and I can also help you explain.”

“Thank you, Luke.”

“Hermione, what are you whispering? Go to your father’s group of Luke to get the juice.” Mrs. Granger said.

“Mom, I have something very important to tell you when Dad comes.” After speaking, he glanced at Luke again, and Luke nodded while looking at Hermione.

Both James and Mrs. Granger looked at Luke suspiciously.

In a moment, Mr. Granger made coffee and juice and brought it up.

“Hermione, don’t help dad get juice either.”

“Dad, you sit down first, I have very important things to say.” Hermione took Mr. Granger and sat on the sofa.

“Hermione, before you say, it’s best to ask your uncles and aunts to be a little bit mentally prepared, dad and you too, what you will hear may be beyond imagination.” Luke said.

“Yes, Luke said yes.”

The Grangers and Luke’s father James both showed puzzled expressions.

“Dad and Mom, haven’t things floating around me before? I know what happened now, it was Luke who told me.”

The Grangers looked a little nervous.

“Luke said it was because of my ability, the ability to learn magic.” Hermione said seriously.

The Grangers were even more confused about the answer, but James seemed to have thought of something.

“Okay, Hermione, let me explain it. It will be more intuitive to demonstrate directly.”

Luke directly controlled several empty cups on the table to float up with mental power. The cups revolved in the air and landed on the table again. Worried that the effect was not enough, he also used the curse he had just won in the system lottery.

One, two, and three small fireballs appeared in front of Luke, revolving around Luke.

“Oh! Goodness!” Mrs. Granger surprised Roar.

And Hermione also looked surprised, she didn’t know that Luke could still summon a fireball.

Luke thought to himself: Fortunately, he had exercised his mental power before, otherwise the flame curse he had just obtained would be really not well controlled.

Putting away the fireball, Luke looked at the Grangers and his father James, “Hermione has magical abilities just like me. There are many people in this world who know how to do magic, and there are even special schools for magic.”

“Then can I go to the magic school?” Hermione asked excitedly and nervously.

“Yes, but you have to wait until you are 11 years old. If you have magical ability, you will receive a letter of admission.”

“Then Baker Street you just went to, is there someone who knows magic?” James finally asked what he was most confused about.

“Yes, Dad, this world is actually very complicated. The school I just mentioned should be considered a necromancer, Baker Street is a magician, and I am a different kind.” Luke explained.

“Is there any danger in learning magic?” Mr. Granger obviously cares about Hermione’s safety.

“Knowledge is originally not dangerous, but there are many dangers in this world, and it will become more and more dangerous in the future.” Suddenly, Luke seemed to feel something and did not go on carefully.

“However, learning magic can better protect yourself and protect your loved ones, and I will also protect Hermione from harm.” Luke said seriously.

The adults were a little surprised that Luke could say such a thing.

After saying this, Luke regretted it, and the atmosphere became embarrassing. Although Hermione did not fully understand the meaning of this sentence, she also knew that this sentence seemed to be very important.

“Dad, it’s getting late. Mom is still at home waiting for us to go back to eat. Isn’t it time to go back?”

“Yes, it’s getting late, we have to go back, thank you for your hospitality.” James got up and said.

“Too polite, what happened today really surprised me. I need to digest this information.” Mrs. Granger added: “Luke will welcome you to our house in the future. Hermione has no friends at school either.”

“Mom~” Hermione shook Madame Granger’s arm in dissatisfaction.

“Okay, it’s my birthday in a few days. Can I invite Hermione to my house? My family lives in Windsor Town.”

Mrs. Granger glanced at Hermione, and Hermione showed expectation.

“Okay, when the time comes, I will drive her over.”

“Thank you auntie, you and your uncle had better not talk to others about what happened just now to avoid unnecessary trouble.” Luke said solemnly.

“Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone.”

The Grangers sent James and Luke to the door.

After getting in the car, Luke, who was holding Garfield, watched James hesitated and asked, “Dad, what else do you want to ask?”

“You still think about how to explain to your mother when you go back.”
