With this realisation, the Assassin quickly licked his lips

"Such a beauty…." He muttered subconsciously

"If I can just have a taste… just a little taste"

As the Assassin mumbled to himself, he carefully entered the building

He was entranced by the beauty in front of him and kept on moving closer and closer, his lustful eyes scanning every inch of her body.

It was then that the Assassin snapped.

With his years of experience, he quickly realised something was up, but just as he was about to act, he suddenly froze.

Suddenly, with no time to react, the Assassin suddenly felt a sharp, frosty edge against his neck

It was then that a cold, almost murderous voice spoke

"Keep ogling and I'll be forced to gorge out your eyes."

Slowly turning his head, the Assassin looked to see a burning pair of serpentine eyes glaring right at him.

Suddenly from the shadows more and more figures came out and to his dismay they were all staring at him with just as cold a gaze.

A short distance away from Dante's encounter with the Assassin,

A slight commotion could be seen stirring in a nearby compound.

in this compound, legions of guards could be seen rushing around hastily road get in formation why the continuous roars and instructions of various different squad captains could be heard all over the place

Looking behind, Lord Vale turned to see his rushing legion of guards and a smirk of satisfaction couldn't help but appear on his face

These were his soldiers, his army! warriors trained tirelessly to fight. And the best thing was that they were ready to carry out his every order!

Shaking these thoughts from his head, Lord Vale wasted no more time as he asked,

"General Nox, is everything in order?"

Hearing this question, the leading general quickly nodded in response

"Of course, my Lord, I have been ready since you needed me"

"Good" responded Lord Vale

"Since everything is set, ready your soldiers and move out. We will act tonight!"

"Of course, my lord," said general Nox, quickly saluting.

Merely a few seconds later, the streets of Vainwatch city could be seen to panic as the loud thunderous sounds of hooves and footsteps could be heard erupting as the legion of soldiers stormed towards the Dragon Lord's residence.

And behind all this was a Lord vale that couldn't resist the urge to smile the whole time.

'Today I will break free of the tyrannical control of the Vaenam Kingdom.

Today I shall slay a dragon!'

Back at the residence

Dante and the rest of the boys couldn't help but grimace as they looked at the sorry sight of a human that laid before them.

Soon, Lennox couldn't suppress his thoughts any longer and suddenly spoke up

"Erm.. don't you think we should…you know…. stop her. I mean, don't you think it would be good to get some information from the person before turning him into waste?"

Although Lennox was making some valid points as Dante heard this, he couldn't help but chuckle as he spoke

"Just look at her."

Following Dante's words, Lennox turned and looked at the brutal torture Rebecca was inflicting on her victim and his body couldn't help but shudder.

It was then that Dante spoke again

"You see how she is. Don't tell me you want to be the one to tell her to stop?"

Instantly Lennox stuttered.

Him? Against that madwoman?

Surely Dante had to be joking!

Lennox had seen it already when they were travailing to Vainwatch city.

When Rebecca got a hold of such disgusting individuals, her wrath truly couldn't be stopped.

Besides, of late, Rebecca's temper somehow managed to get even worse than it usually was.

Seeing the terror on Lennox's face, Dante laughed even harder

"You don't have to worry about Rebecca going overboard. After all, more will be coming soon."

"Huh?"

As Lennox heard this, he became even more confused, but as he looked around he could only see Klent slowly withdrawing his sword without any words.

Just as he was going to ask for an explanation, it was then that Lennox's senses went off.

"We've got company."

"But from the looks of things, I'm guessing you already knew this" said Lennox with a slightly awkward smile

Dante just lightly nodded

As he looked out the window.

"Boom!"

Just then there was a devastating blast in the courtyard area, as the large steel doors were blasted straight off their hinges!

With the devastating blast, an entire army of soldiers quickly swarmed inside the compound.

Slowly floating outside the window, Dante looked down at the crowd that had now gathered before him

"Lord Vale, to what do I owe this pleasure?" Asked Dante as an extremely welcoming smile burst onto his face

But Lord Vale didn't seem to return Dante's feeling and instead just scoffed upon hearing Dante's question.

"Dante! " roared Lord Vale

"You dare cooperate with the corpse master to endanger the surrounding villages and destabilise the structure Zrudon region!

In the name of the Royal Court, I shall bring you to justice!"

But before Lord Vale could continue to hurl anymore accusations, the light chuckle of Dante soon cut him off.

Dante couldn't hide his smirk as he asked.

" You don't actually expect people to believe this nonsense, do you, City Lord Vale?"

"Or Maybe it would be better to call you by your actual title, wouldn't it, Bandit Lord Vale?"

Hearing this, Lord Vale's body involuntarily flinched but before he could react, a dark object was sent flying out of Rebecca's room, crashing right in front of the city Lord.

"Thud!"

A large cloud of dust slowly rose around the now sunken earth, creating a light smokescreen

As the dust cleared,  you could see that this dark object was  in fact,  the mangled body of the Assassin from earlier!
