006. Entrance Mock Battle

Ian Tigris Line Barrel.

The main character and playable character of Tactical Combat was a person with a narrative of being the legitimate son of a count family, entering the academy, and becoming a war hero.

Her appearance also hit the tastes of many female players with her handsome man with soft lines, stocky physique, and mesmerizing eyes. Therefore, she became a frequent costume target for cosplayers, and even long after the game was released, cosplayers wearing Ian’s costume continued regardless of gender.

However, for Gilbert, the current state of the protagonist was more important than such a foundation. Because she is a playable character, the protagonist’s personality is determined by dialogue choices.

When I first enjoyed the game story, I often chose options that showed a serious and heroic aspect, but as time went by, I began to choose all kinds of eccentric conversations to see the side quests that branched out depending on the conversation.

Choosing the option of destroying a village or humiliating prisoners of war was a weak choice. Clearing all achievements was something that could not be accomplished without doing something like that.

The only problem was what kind of character the main character that Gilbert was not playing had in this reality.

According to the official official release from the production company, Ian Tigris Line Barrel explained that she is an upright and just person, and when she follows the options that are treated as love affairs among gamers, that aspect is clearly revealed, so everyone is evaluating Ian. It tended to be good.

Gilbert thought so too in the other world, but as he opened his eyes in the world of tactical combat, he revised his overall knowledge. Although he was an old man, it didn’t make sense for him to remember every single detail of the setting, and he mostly remembered things like big events and must-collect items.

However, now that I am personally experiencing the ripple effects of the setting of ‘Asshole’ that I thoughtlessly added while creating the character Gilbert, I have given up the idea that all the settings in the game will match.

In the first place, in the game, there were countless wrong endings or side quests that occurred due to a single choice. As DLC came out, that number increased, so now that it’s a reality, you can’t be sure about anything until you see it with your own eyes.

So Gilbert looked forward to the day he would meet the main character. Since the entire continent was caught up in the war, a heroic protagonist had to make a face and become the main force of the Allied Forces. He, whose evaluation was in the gutter, knew that even if he tried to improve awareness from now on, there were clear limits as long as there were people who were harmed because of it.

Gilbert looked sideways at Ian standing next to him. With his tightly closed mouth and confident eyes, he passed the examination. Although he was not a contemplative person, it was fortunate that he did not suffer from a weak-willed and timid personality.

When Ian stood next to Gilbert, the number of people who could apply for command was reduced by two. From then on, exploratory warfare lost its meaning. The reason he launched the search was to become a commander, but two positions were already filled, and there were only two positions left. From now on, he had to engage in a fierce competition to occupy the remaining seats.

Gilbert made sure that his main companion character was among the cadets who coveted the commander. From the moment it turned into rotten water, most of the achievements forced me to play as a single player, and I did a one-man show because I couldn’t be bothered to recruit colleagues, but the reality was that this was not a game where you could retry, but a one-coin hardcore play.

If I had a trustworthy comrade who could fight with me, I had to somehow recruit him and lead him along, so I pulled out information about the comrade that I had left behind in my memory. As he remembers, there was also a mandatory companion character that the protagonist must receive as his colleague in the year he entered school.

He has pink hair and a picky personality, but after attacking him as a colleague, he was like a hearty soup. Still, he had pink hair and gamers called him Gil Ping-chang, but he had the tenacity to do his job and not back down even if a knife was put to his throat.

‘Your name must be Lily, right?’

“I appoint Lily Roseus Nobilitas as the commander of the 3rd team. Please come this way.”

Yes, that was the name.

Just as Gilbert was thinking, he looked at Lily coming out after being appointed commander.

Her not very tall height and her long hair that easily went over her pink waist. Her soft, slightly round face lines and confident eyes were impressive.

But there was another reason that caught the cadets’ attention more than anything else.

Rumbling and sloshing.

This was because her huge breasts, which did not fit her petite body, moved up and down in accordance with her steps. Although her movements were minimized because she was covered in a tight cadet uniform, no one gave her a single glance at her sacred movements.

‘As expected, Ping Chang.’

The reason why gamers nicknamed Gukbap character Pingchang was all because of that huge bust. In fact, her personality was a bit ignorant when it came to s*x, but I remembered that there was a meme in some communities saying that’s just how Pingchang is these days.

Jerit.

Lily, who took her seat next to Ian, turned her stinging gaze to Gilbert. He suddenly felt puzzled by Lily, who was glaring at him fiercely, but soon realized that he was Gilbert the Lionheart.

Although Lily had a picky personality, she was not an angular personality. If I were to be honest, she was kind. Throughout her Academy storyline, she was never treated as a commoner, and she never did anything that crossed the line.

However, there is only one case where she becomes this enraged. The only time she met a scum like Gilbert was.

“Gilbert the Lionheart.”

“What’s going on?”

Lily’s voice full of hostility made Gilbert feel angry even before his colleague worked on it. He had forgotten the basic fact that Lily could not view Gilbert, who was called the count’s bastard, with anything other than disgust.

“No matter how much of a piece of trash you are, don’t you think you could escape the proof of blue blood?”

“As you can see.”

“Ha! Then I’ll make sure you pay for your sins.”

Gilbert turned his head away, as if he was not interested in Lily, who was burning with hostility, but he realized that something was amiss inside her. The way she spoke made it seem as if she had known Gilbert for a long time, and she was showing that their relationship was not very good.

He began searching through Gilbert’s memories without even having time to watch the last commander candidate be selected. Fortunately, this was possible because I was able to see the memories of the original Gilbert, that is, the events before being possessed in this body, as if I were taking a book off a bookshelf.

The moment the last command cadet stood where they were, Gilbert found the memory he wanted and clenched his fist without anyone noticing.

Speaking of clichés, it was clichés. It was Gilbert who tormented Lily so much when she was young that she had a complex about having large breasts. He had already turned yellow by that time and had no hesitation even when dealing with Lily, the daughter of a promising count.

At some point, there wasn’t much interaction. It had been quite a while since I had seen Gilbert because he was busy causing trouble within the estate, but the gaze he was glaring at was not kind, as if the wounds he had received as a child still remained.

Gilbert was able to once again experience the butterfly effect created by just one line of explanation. At the same time, the thought crossed his mind that this problem would haunt him for a very long time.

“All the commander cadets have been selected. All operational authority for the entrance mock battle is entrusted to these commander cadets, and the cadets under the command can participate in the entrance mock battle following the command cadets. The cadets assigned to each team are randomly assigned. “After team selection, 30 minutes of operation time will be allocated and the entrance mock competition will begin immediately. Do you have any questions?”

No one questioned Roxas’ words. Since it was a very simple rule to divide into teams and fight a mock battle according to the commander’s orders, there was nothing worth asking.

“Then, the commander cadets can head to the designated barracks. The barracks will be guided by the barracks users. I hope that all cadets receive good results in this entrance mock battle.”

After completing the explanation of the selection of commander cadets and the overall entrance mock battle, Rojas left.

Gilbert headed to his barracks, receiving a hateful look from Lily, who followed his employee to the third team’s barracks. Somehow, as I looked into those eyes, I couldn’t help but feel that it was wrong to live with my expulsion.

I also kept in my mind the fact that I need to be safe in everything I do because I don’t know when and where karma will strike.

The barracks we arrived at under the guidance of the employee were not bad for a place that was only used temporarily. Although it was large, there was a tactical board depicting the terrain of the area where the entrance mock battle was held.

No matter how much I enjoyed the game, there were limits to the degree of freedom, and there were many things that were a bit disappointing in the details. Especially since there were places where gaming permission was expressed.

After sitting down in the commander’s seat and waiting for a while, the people who would eventually become his team members began to arrive one by one.

Their expressions crumpled when they saw Gilbert, and they must have been disappointed since the commander was such an asshole.

Finally, when all the team members had gathered and the barracks were full, Gilbert, who had been quiet until now, raised the baton and tapped the tactical board, drawing everyone’s attention.

Gilbert’s entrance mock battle began right now.
