84 – Advance into Japan (6)

Reporter Hikosaka and his junior reporter arrived in Mapo, Seoul.

Briskly moving his head, reporter Hikosaka looked around Korea when he came to Korea for the first time.

It was interesting how similar it was to Tokyo, Japan, yet somehow different.

“Korea seems to smell like garlic.”

“That’s because I eat it with a lot of garlic.”

The junior reporter, who had already been to Korea several times for travel, said it as if it were obvious.

When the two arrived in front of Lucky Seven Entertainment headquarters, their eyes were taken by the tall building.

They said it was the top entertainment industry in Korea, but it seems they were not exaggerating.

“That person is a famous male actor in Korea.”

“Really?”

As if it were an entertainment agency office, famous Korean celebrities could be seen quietly near the Lucky Seven Entertainment headquarters.

The junior reporter asked the Korean interpreter he had hired in advance to speak to a person who appeared to be a producer.

Use an envelope of money as bait for a small interview fee.

Soon after, a man came in front of reporter Hikosaka and his junior reporter.

“Let’s go to a cafe nearby. “I will pay for the coffee.”

After listening to the interpreter interpreting Japanese into Korean, the Lucky Seven Entertainment producer nodded.

The producer said he knew of a cafe, so I headed there.

“Cursed Dolls has become famous these days in Japan, so we are covering it.”

The four people who sat down went straight to the main topic.

“Do you know producer Lim Boo-gil?”

“They say they know.”

The interpreter immediately translated the Korean of the Lucky Seven Entertainment producer into Japanese.

While the junior reporter was conducting the interview, reporter Hiko Saka took out her laptop and transcribed their conversation.

“What kind of person are you?”

“He was originally famous for being incompetent, but after Cursed Dolls became a hit, he was said to be a great person who single-handedly single-handedly selected all the outstanding idols, including Berries, Afternoon Sweets, and Yeomseonjeong.”

Berries, afternoon sweets, Yeomseonjeong?

Reporter Hikosaka was a name he had never heard before, but the junior reporter nodded as if he knew.

“Is this the person?”

A junior reporter showed the photo of Producer Lim Boo-gil that he had taken yesterday to the producer of Lucky Seven Entertainment.

Lucky Seven Entertainment’s producer nodded.

“Could you tell us more about producer Lim Boo-gil in more detail?”

What were the original Cursed Dolls members like before their debut, how did they solve the serious incident at Berries, and how did the Afternoon Sweets members enter the entertainment industry?

A rather long story came out of the mouth of a producer affiliated with Lucky Seven Entertainment.

There is even a story about producer Im Boo-gil himself being kidnapped by a gangster called the Korean Yakuza and almost dying.

Reporter Hikosaka and the junior reporters could not keep their mouths shut at the fact that all of this happened last year.

I was able to guess why he rose to a fairly high position at a relatively young age.

I also heard an anecdote about an unpopular male idol who was affiliated with a competitor, Jeil Entertainment, seeing his potential at a glance and recruiting him, and now he has become a star.

I even thought that this was some kind of idol god descending on me.

“As expected, my intuition was not wrong.”

On the plane heading back to Japan after the interview.

The junior reporter smiled as if he was proud.

Reporter Hikosaka also thought that this article would attract quite a bit of attention.

As the junior reporter said, it wasn’t really a scandal.

But it turns out that the producer who raised Cursed Dolls also produced other popular idols.

More than anything, he is handsome.

He is a handsome man from a foreign country, and he is competent and actively intervenes and solves the idol’s bad cases.

He is truly the perfect person for people to talk about.

“At what point are you going to release it? Right now?”

“No, Berry’s, Afternoon Sweets, and Yeomseonjeong are planning to enter Japan at the same time, so around that time.”

“Well, that would be better…. By the way, are you going to post it as a joint report as well?”

“Senior, you haven’t done anything.”

“… ….”

“I’m just kidding, I’ll upload it properly.”

It was reporter Hikosaka who thought it would be good not to make fun of people too much.

***

“Producer, wake up.”

Two weeks have passed since I came to Japan.

In the meantime, Cursed Dolls began their activities in Japan in earnest.

I was getting used to living abroad for the first time, albeit little by little.

I stretched and raised my upper body.

The Japanese entertainment industry is different from Korea, so there were quite a few new tasks that I had to learn.

So, I was tired these days, but somehow I felt refreshed in the morning.

When fatigue accumulates, I am the type of person who turns to s*xual desire, but surprisingly, my s*xual desire was intact.

“Did you sleep well?”

“Oh, thank you for today too.”

It was probably because Jeong Song was sleeping hugging her secretary like a bamboo lady.

The skin is soft, the body wash and shampoo smells nice, and it’s warm.

She asked me if it would be hard to sleep with her in my arms, but she didn’t mind at all, so I enjoyed being in her arms every night.

… I’m going to feel a bit lonely when I return to Korea.

“What should I cosplay tonight?”

Secretary Jeong Song-i asked me as she prepared breakfast.

She dressed up as a bunny girl on the first day, so naturally, a cosplay show by her secretary Jung Song-i followed.

“Maid.”

“… You were a maid yesterday too. “You really like the maid.”

Click—.

Jeong Song-i and her secretary looked pretty while preparing breakfast in her maid uniform, so she captured it with her smartphone camera.

Now, she doesn’t say anything when I take pictures openly, but instead smiles and even gives me a V.

Honestly, I didn’t think I would be able to do something like this even if I had a lover.

He wore the clothes I wanted as if it were natural, and even when he subtly touched my skin with his hands in bed, he smiled rather than hated it.

I have such a good woman, but there are some aspects that I can’t help but feel guilty about having an affair with another woman.

“It’s done, eat it.”

We sat down on chairs at the dining table, and both I and secretary Jeong Song-i held up our chopsticks.

I also used wooden chopsticks that I bought in Japan, but perhaps because I am Korean, I found metal chopsticks more comfortable….

“Song, there is hair here.”

“Where?”

She stretched out her hand and directly removed the hair that was sticking to the corner of Secretary Jeong Song-i’s mouth.

But something about her hair was a bit short.

Did my hair fall out and stick to me while I was sleeping?

But was my hair this short?

My hair isn’t curly at all, but it’s a bit curly for some reason.

“Thank you, producer.”

For some reason, secretary Jeong Song-i’s face turned bright red.

And then I quickly took her hair from my hand and threw it in her trash can.

I went to work at the GI Production Japan branch office.

And I immediately looked at the Deneb chart.

As expected, the Cursed Dolls began their activities in earnest, which gave them further momentum.

Perhaps it was thanks to the live appearance on the program ‘Music of the Week’ last week.

It was a program similar in nature to Korea’s ‘Music On’.

But TKY52 really had a great position in Japan.

Cursed Dolls took second place, but the gap with first place was almost double.

As expected, it seemed difficult to surpass TKY52.

It seemed like the right thing to do was to work in Japan for just two months and then return to Korea.

Tiriring—.

The landline phone rang.

I don’t know how to speak Japanese, so answering the phone was entirely up to the interpreter.

“Representative, this is Lucky Seven Entertainment’s Japanese branch.”

“Oh really?”

There was only one phone in the office, so I got up and approached the interpreter’s desk.

There were no separate spaces like in Korea anyway, so it wasn’t too much of a hassle.

“Yes, this is CEO Lim Boo-gil.”

-Ah, the fan signing event location has been set.

“Then let’s sell it on an album.”

-What should I do with already sold albums?

“It’s a bit cumbersome, but I think we have no choice but to get the buyer’s information from the seller and have them apply.”

-Okay. Then, we will proceed with discussions with Chuo Records. Is there anything else you would like to convey to us?

“Um… ….”

Anyway, the Japanese side didn’t appear in the [Idol Producing] Game, and the Japanese branch didn’t have much experience, so we had to go through some trial and error.

Still, it went smoothly at this level.

I also checked Korean Internet articles, and there were many comments about people calling themselves Joo-mo and getting drunk on soup.

Now, it would be better if Cursed Dolls member Gong Shi-on appeared on a Japanese entertainment show and showed his lively and quirky side just like in Korea….

As expected, the biggest problem was the language barrier.

I don’t have a lot of schedule in Japan yet, so I’m devoting my time to studying Japanese.

It would be difficult to learn enough Japanese conversation skills to speak fluently on entertainment shows in two months.

In that case, I had no choice but to approach it through magazine-like writing rather than broadcasting.

Rather than broadcasting poorly understood Korean on Japanese broadcasts, it would be better to reveal Gong Shi-on’s character through writing.

Japan is a country with a more prosperous magazine culture than Korea.

“Please actively accept magazine interviews. “If you are invited to appear on a broadcast, please decline those who talk a lot, and say that those who move their bodies a lot are okay.”

-Okay. What do you plan on doing with Berries and afternoon sweets?

“Afternoon Sweets, please proceed with adding Japanese subtitles to the vlog, and Berryz will begin activities in Japan within this month.”

After telling a few more minor details, I hung up the phone with the person in charge of Lucky Seven Entertainment’s Japanese branch.

It hasn’t been long since I left for work, but the clock already showed lunch time.

The moment Jeong Song was about to ask his secretary and interpreter to go eat,

“Great, CEO! This….”

The interpreter shouted to me with a puzzled look on his face.

“What’s going on?”

“Here’s the article….”

I looked at the interpreter’s computer monitor.

It’s written in Japanese, so I can’t read a word of it.

But it was clear that it was not such good news.

Because in the photo attached to the article, my face was engraved in a large image.
