Episode 3 – I Am An Idiot 3 –

Episode 3 – I Am An Idiot 3 –

The class assignment exam was approaching.

And this time, unlike before, I plan to secure a high rank.

Even if there’s a commotion, if the score is low, the controversy won’t grow.

Precisely, it becomes easier for the academy to cover it up.

But top-ranking students attract relatively more attention, so if they commit any idiotic act, it gets revealed.

It’s akin to having more problems if the President of South Korea commits a crime instead of a regular person committing it.

Of course, if you commit such a crime, you would have to stay in prison longer than the time spent at the academy.

‘The position of the Chancellor involves great responsibility.’

If the chancellor has to uphold the honor of the academy, the moment I rise into the rank and start messing around, the chancellor will have no choice but to expel me.

Although it’s a shameful act, it still needs to be done. Even if it’s shameful in society, if it’s necessary, it has to be done.

All because my father forced limits on me.

He spent a fortune using a contract spell just to control one action of his son.

If it weren’t for that spell, with the low grades, I would have received punishment, yet still.

Despite knowing how to become strong, the problem seems to be not revealing how to become stronger.

Or maybe the problem was trying to make money through a Ponzi scheme.

Considering how I tried to suck up money through a Ponzi scheme or multi-level marketing, it makes sense that my words lack credibility.

‘Either way, if I want to be expelled, I now have to think long-term.’

The chancellor personally declared that he would hold on to me. I have to tarnish the honor of the academy over a long period of time.

It might seem easy but if the wrongdoing exceeds a certain level, you could spend more time in jail due to imperial law, hence I need to tread carefully.

That’s why this class assignment exam is important. The exam directly confronts one student with another so if a dispute arises, the other family will apply pressure, and then the chancellor will seriously consider my expulsion.

[The class assignment exam is scheduled, so all students, please move to the specified locations.]

Following the announcement that the class assignment exam has started, students lined up in their respective places.

And the bulky professor I’d seen before didn’t forget to confirm my arrival.

[The examination will be a 1v1 duel and can be fought up to 3 times taking into consideration the balance or gap. Then, the average score from the duels will be used to decide the final class assignment.]

They’ve created a relatively reasonable system where if the balance or gap with your opponent is too big, you fight 3 times and calculate the average, unlike just ending it.

Of course, you could fail all three times as well. Some people are not born physically normal, so luck is also a part of the skill.

While wasting time waiting for my turn.

[A duel will be held between student number 113 Abraxas and student number 34 Pennsylvania.]

My name was called.

And the opponent immediately approached me to prepare for the duel.

“Are you the one? The one who openly attacked the professor on enrollment day…”

And he openly picked a fight with me.

“Are you insane? On what grounds did you attack the professor? And then, you got suppressed in one shot. If it were me, I would have killed myself on the spot, but you somehow made it here.”

He tersely listed only the facts. There could have been some slander.

Like, not seeing a future, trusting in the family and acting like a fool would have been adequate to refute.

Walking towards the dueling arena, a grand space that looked like an Olympic taekwondo gym greeted us, with people fighting in designated areas.

[A duel lasts 5 minutes. If the winner is not decided within 5 minutes, the student who caused more damage to the opponent wins. Bonus points are awarded for victory.]

And the broadcast explaining in detail. Even during such a broadcast, we were continuously following the guides towards the designated dueling arena.

[Please take your seats and the duel will begin.]

And upon reaching the designated seats, the duel began.

There exists a multitude of realms within this world.

There are Aura users, Aura experts, Aura swell, Aura Masters, and the like in the Aura realm.

In the realm of magic, there exist Mages, High Mages, Master Mages, Archmages, and so forth.

And excluding the Aura Masters and Archmages, the rest were only heard of after reincarnation. The rest were realms not mentioned in the game.

Of course, in those areas, it must be difficult to mention other realms when even Archmages and Aura Masters are often knocked about.

“Just suppress them quickly…!”

Unfortunately for them, the opponent facing me had a lesser grasp of Aura.

He managed to reach the Aura Expert, who can wrap the Aura around his sword, but I’m far ahead since I have already reached the Aura Swell, which can enhance the entire body.

Listening to others talk about how difficult this is, they don’t seem to grasp the incredible power when they know the location of items that can split a mountain in one shot.

“Raaargh…!”

And for some reason, the opponent screams as he swings his wooden sword.

And with my Aura-enhanced body, I swiftly dodged his attack.

Whooosh-

Naturally, his wooden sword that lost its target only cut through thin air. The owner of the wooden sword panics.

And to him, whose rhythm had been thrown off, I committed a sin no man should ever commit.

Thwack-

The crisp sound of hitting someone. And then, a scream echoes through the arena.

“aaahhh!!!”

A scream.

The scream reverberates through the arena, followed by the audience’s shock.

“Hey, that crazy bastard!”

“Hey! Isn’t that foul play!?”

“Crazy bastard!!!”

“Does that guy have no pride!?”

People express their shock at my actions. And among them, the men were even more shocked by what they saw.

It couldn’t be helped. The technique I used is extremely dangerous for men.

Fatal technique. Groin kick.

I attack the worst weakness that every man possesses.

This way, I can take down anyone in one shot.

“Th, That’s foul play!!”

And of course, the referee shouts that it’s foul play.

The surrounding audience began to boo at me.

I don’t particularly mind. After all, it was a dirty play.

But what does that matter? My goal is to get expelled from the academy by annoying the dean, as long as I don’t commit a crime.

Honor isn’t very important to me.

“Student Abraxas! Are you in your right mind right now? Even if victory is important, absolutely…”

And so, I try to argue back to the judge who was asking in rebuttal.

“What’s the problem exactly?”

“Don’t you know what the problem is?!”

“Well, I hit him right, didn’t I? The human body has incredibly many vulnerabilities. Solar plexus, temples, philtrum, armpits and so on, there are many weaknesses. Where I hit, was just a particularly painful spot.”

The point here is how confident you are.

The atmosphere is different for someone who kills trembling in fear and someone who kills as if it’s a matter of course.

If you are confident, you just look like a psychopath.

Besides, there’s no need to feel so wronged.

Looking at it in detail, it might seem unreasonable, but I could have won without attacking that place.

The fact that I could hit the manhood, means that I could have attacked other parts as well.

The weaknesses of humans are not limited to the manhood.

“If you had the skill in the first place, you wouldn’t have been hit by the attack. Is there a guarantee that your opponent won’t aim for that in a real battle? Even in a duel, it’s ultimately for preparing for real battles. The cadet lying on the ground now could have been hit me in the temple or solar plexus.”

That’s the point. Real battles are not duels. They don’t let you fight one-on-one like a duel, and there’s no way they won’t attack vulnerabilities.

This one sentence determines my victory.

If you expect that your opponent won’t attack and neglect defense, only to be hit, it was a mistake in judgment. Because your opponent will aim for a spot as soon as they confirm it is defenseless.

Even if you can’t block attacks due to lack of skill, nothing changes. Even if you fight fair, you’ll end up hit in the temple or solar plexus and rolling on the ground.

“But, but…!”

“Then, is there a problem with the school rules? Social consensus ultimately has no effect on criminals or extremists. If there’s nothing in violation of the school rules, I don’t think there’s much of a problem.”

Of course, such ridiculous talk is not written confidently in the school rules. It was just an unspoken agreement. So, no one can argue against me.

I confidently pressure the judge. The judge, of course, struggles. It would be because my victory is correct according to the rules, but it is difficult to evaluate my actual skill.

Offending the president non-profitably is not illegal in Korea, but it is similar to the principle of receiving social criticism.

The nobles here value honor, but I don’t know such a thing.

If you have the skill, you can build honor easily.

And these series of gestures will contribute to my pressure on the Chancellor. I can imply that I will continue to act necessary to address in a disciplinary manner while it’s vague to punish with such regulations

Even if I can’t be expelled immediately, I have to build it steadily. As long as I am an adult, it’s possible to embark on an adventure to find items as soon as I can leave here.

And then…

“Wait a minute.”

At the sound of someone calling me, I looked in that direction.

The professor who had previously subdued me, Rachel was standing there.

As soon as she called my name, I was surprised, then she opened her mouth.

“So, do you want to have a duel with me?”

And I was reeled in.

“This is really a duel, right?”

I can’t miss the opportunity to make a big deal, whether I win or lose.

I accepted immediately.
