"Brother Albion, I think he truly needs your help..." Xiao Hua tugged on Albion's sleeve while sticking close.

"Is that so?" Albion gave Xiao Hua a nonchalant glance before asking the endangered young man, "You really need my help?"

"That's what I've been asking for!" The young man hollered with all his might. He could practically feel the giant fly-like interdimensional creature's point mouth on his face.

"I see…" Albion nodded before he softly muttered, "So much for being destined for greatness, I guess…"

After hearing Albion's muttering, the young man nearly coughed up blood on the spot.

Pak!

Albion leaped up and slapped the black interdimensional creature's head into oblivion.

Albion suddenly paused, thinking it was strange that he had reached 5 Hunter after gaining two levels when he was a Level 2 Hunter previously.

Looking back in the log, he quickly understood why. It came from the previous kill.

"Thank you for saving me!" The young man expressed his gratitude after getting up with his butcher knife.

Shortly after, the young man ran off and rejoined the chaos with his butcher knife, "This Emperor will slay you all with his Divine Phoenix-Slaying Knife and become the God-Emperor of the new world!"

"…" Xiao Hua was speechless.

Albion glanced at Xiao Hua and said, "Next time we run into these types of people, just let them die. There's no need to help people that will eventually get themselves killed anyway..."

"Right…" Xiao Hua nodded despite thinking that it was morally wrong to do so.

The people were like moths drawn to the flames in the wake of such naked temptation before them.

Power and special abilities that the old world did not have—Who wouldn't want to get their hands on it?

"Damn weebs," Anya spat with contempt while watching the young man run off. Seeing Albion glance over, she looked back and said, "What? You're a damn weeb too."

"Manners, Anya." Eleanor Seymour frowned. She was not fond of Young Master Albion either, but this person was important to their family.

At the same time, Albion was taken aback before he asked, "You can tell me I'm a weeb?"

"Hmph, it takes a weeb to hate on another weeb!" Anya snorted before she added, "You annoy me so much, I can practically sniff the weeb-ness off you!"

Shortly after, Anya questioned him, "Have you saved my number or not?"

Albion gaped for a moment before he smiled wryly.

"Seems like I have not," Albion admitted truthfully.

He finally remembered what he had forgotten what he was mean to do—not that it was important anyway.

Anya Seymour immediately gave Albion a menacing glare.

Meanwhile, Klein Seymour observed the surrounding situation before he spoke to everyone, "It's too chaotic outside. We best head back inside the Royal Pearl Club. We already missed our best chance to leave."

"Mr. Klein is right. My grandpa cannot make any abrupt movements," Xiao Qing frowned at the chaotic crowd on the streets.

"Qing-er, you're looking down on grandpa too much. Grandpa may be old, but I am still very healthy. Look," Old Xiao sighed before doing some stretches.

Crack!

Old Xiao suddenly sprained his back before he cried, "Aiyo, my back! Quick, help Grandpa up, Qing-er!"

"Hahaha, Old Xiao! You're already so old but still quite young at heart, I see." Old Master Seymour chuckled before his son escorted him back inside the venue.

"Haiz… Old Seymour, you're not that much older than I am either…" Old Xiao sighed, "I missed the younger days."

"Come, father. Let me help you walk back inside," Klein Seymour said to David Seymour before urging the others, "The rest of you should quickly get back inside as well. There are too many interdimensional creatures in the sky."

"Right!" Jun, Martha, Xiao Qing, and the others agreed.

Swoosh~!

The large shadow of a dragon suddenly flew overhead, causing Albion and the others to raise their head and glance at the sky.

"Is that…?"

Albion narrowed his eyes on the flying dragon that subtly resembled an ancient sea serpent. The only difference was the dragon had four limbs with sharp claws.

Beep! Beep!

His thoughts were interrupted by countless honking.

Dozens of cars tried to advance through the busy road while fewer drivers recklessly drove through the crowd without caring for other people's lives except their own.

A giant crow-like interdimensional creature landed heavily on the road, causing a speeding truck to immediately swerve off the road.

"Watch out!" Xiao Qing cried.

Seeing the white truck heading straight for him and Xiao Hua, Albion's expression darkened before he swiping his hand sidewards.

<Unseen Hand!>

An invisible psychic force compelled the white truck to swerve further before it narrowly missed Albion and Xiao Hua.

Bang!

The white truck crashed into the wall beside the Royal Pearl Club's entrance.

"I swear all the truck-kuns in the world are out to get me or something..." Albion muttered while rubbing his forehead ruefully.

That was the second truck after him that happened within two days of returning to civilization.

Bad luck seems to follow wherever he goes. As expected of a super bad villain with a lot of accumulated bad karma.

While following the group back inside the building, Xiao Hua gazed back at the crash with wonder, "Is the driver going to be okay?"

"Who knows? F*ck him. He was asking for it."

Albion shrugged before his phone suddenly rang.

Seeing the name of the caller, he said to the others, "Go on ahead. I need to take this call."

Hunter Association Building.

"Branch Leader Johnson, you're back!" Secretary Jane greeted upon Harry Johnson's swift return from Royal Pearl Club.

"Un." Branch Leader Johnson nodded before he asked, "Have all the Association's Hunters been dispatched?"

"Yes, Branch Leader! However, our Hunters are limited. I'm afraid we will not have enough manpower to repel the waves of interdimensional creatures."

"No surprise there. Silvercove is a Tier 3 City, far from any of the existing Dimensional Rifts previously." Branch Leader Johnson nodded before he calculated, "It'll take a few hours for reinforcement to arrive from other cities."

Considering the interdimensional creatures were all flying types, any form of aircraft transportation would just be sitting ducks.

The reinforcement will have to arrive via ground transportation methods.

"Still, who would have expected a new Dimensional Rift to appear off the coast of Silvercove? I don't know whether this is a blessing or a disaster… But if Silvercove can overcome this, the Federation might allocate more resources to this city and upgrade it to Tier 2—or possibly even Tier 1 City."

"If that happens, your status will rise greatly in the Hunter Association, Branch Leader Johnson," Secretary Jane stated.

Branch Leader Johnson smiled with anticipation before he suddenly asked, "How is our city's hero, Cao Wudi's recovery coming along?"

"Mr. Wudi is already fully recovered, Branch Leader Johnson. Would you like to see him now?"

"Oh? His recovery came at the right timing." Branch Leader Johnson commented with surprise before he nodded, "Un, take me to him.. This is the perfect chance to send him out to hunt and become a true Hunter."
