Chapter 37: A bedtime story told by the devil

"My love, Albus Dumbledore..."

Seeing the incomparably numb beginning of the letter, Kyle's hand holding the letter was immediately agitated by the dog food that rushed towards him.

Fortunately, the content behind the letter is very normal, mainly the communication between Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore about overturning the Wizarding Secrecy Act.

Kyle looked strangely to confirm that the beginning of the letter was indeed addressed to Dumbledore.

Unexpectedly, his family's mother Dumbledore, who is known as the "greatest white wizard in the wizarding world", also fantasized about overturning the "Wizard Secrecy Act" when she was young and establishing the rule of wizards over Muggles.

What a blow to those who have been promoting Dumbledore's most muggle-born rights!

Of course, if Dumbledore hadn't held such an idea when he was young, he probably wouldn't have come together with Grindelwald, the dark wizard.

At the end of the letter, next to Grindelwald's signature, Kyle saw a familiar mark—a triangle, a circle, and a cross of vertical lines.

At the Three Broomsticks bar that day, Grindelwald was holding a pendant of the same shape in his hand.

What does this mark mean?

Kyle was really curious about this, so he rummaged through the bookshelves and pulled out all the books signed by Albus Dumbledore.

He found five more correspondence between his parents and his mother in other books.

However, he did not find the information he wanted from it.

At this moment, there was a sound of footsteps outside the study. Kyle glanced around at the mess around him, and hurriedly packed up the scattered books.

Before Kyle could put the stack of letters in his hand back on the bookshelf, the door to the study opened.

Seeing that Kyle stayed in his study with the letter he communicated with Dumbledore in his hand, Grindelwald was not surprised.

Those letters were placed in such an easy-to-find place, he deliberately wanted Kyle to see them.

He just wanted to let Kyle know the true face of Dumbledore. Don't wait for the school to return to Hogwarts, Kyle was fooled by the black-bellied old bee with a different appearance.

"Kyle." Grindelwald's voice was calm.

Hearing Grindelwald's tone, he didn't get angry because he read the letter privately, Kyle put the letter in his hand back on the shelf with a calm expression, "Dad, I have a question."

Kyle pointed to the pendant on Grindelwald's chest, "Does that mark have any special meaning?"

Grindelwald glanced down at his chest, "You said this? It represents the Deathly Hallows."

"Deathly Hallows?" Kyle wondered why.

Grindelwald pulled a chair and sat down, "Didn't Albus tell you a bedtime story?"

Kyle has black lines all over his head. What does this have to do with bedtime stories?

Grindelwald clicked his tongue, "What an unqualified father.

He beckoned to Kyle.

"Come and sit down, just to let me experience what it's like to tell my son a little bedtime story."

There are more black lines on Kyle's face. "You don't want to get out of bed. When I fall asleep, you can tell me a story. This way, it will make you feel more comfortable."

Grindelwald glanced at the other chair next to him, took out his wand and pointed at it.

Kyle suddenly wanted to slap himself. Why did he mention this so cheaply?

Grindelwald glanced at Kyle, turned his head again, and raised his chin at the queen-sized crib next to him, with a clear meaning.

"Dig the way!" Kyle said righteously.

Ten seconds later, Kyle was dragged by Grindelwald's magic and shoved into the bed of the crib forcibly.

"Once upon a time, there were three brothers hurrying along a secluded sheep-intestine path, and it was almost dusk..."

Kyle was lying reluctantly in the large crib, covering his head with a quilt, listening to the black-bellied old devil tell him "The Legend of the Three Brothers" in a gentle tone that coaxed a child.

"They walked and walked and came to a river. The water was too deep to wade through, and it was too dangerous to swim across."

"However, the three brothers were proficient in magic, and with a wave of their wands, a bridge appeared over the unpredictable water. When they reached the middle of the bridge, a hooded figure blocked their way."

"Death spoke to them..."

"Reaper was angry that he lost three new offerings—for travelers usually drown in this river. But Reaper was cunning. He pretended to congratulate the three brothers on their magic, saying that they had escaped by cleverness. For death, everyone can get a reward."

"The boss is a belligerent man, and what he wants is the most powerful wand in the world: a wand that will always help his master win in a duel, a wand that a wizard who has conquered death deserves! Went to an elder tree on the shore and made a wand out of a dangling branch and gave it to the boss."

"The second child is an arrogant man. He decided to continue to humiliate the **** of death. What he wanted was the ability to bring the dead back to life. The **** of death picked up a stone from the shore and gave it to the second child, telling him that this stone has the ability to bring back the dead. "

"Then Death asked the youngest, the third, what he wanted. The third was the most humble and the smartest, and he didn't believe in death. So he wanted something that would allow him to get out of there without being followed by death. Willingly gave him his invisibility cloak..."

Kyle stuck a head out of the bed, "So the Three Hallows are the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone and the Invisibility Cloak?"

Speaking of which, he had heard some gossip about Snape from Dumbledore before.

If Snape had the resurrection stone...

"Of course." Grindelwald's words interrupted Kyle's scattered thoughts

He summoned a piece of parchment and a quill at random, and drew a vertical line on the parchment with the pen, "This is the Elder Wand."

Then he added another circle, "Resurrection Stone."

Finally, I drew a triangle outside the vertical line and circle, "Invisibility Cloak."

The vertical line, the circle and the triangle, when combined, constitute the symbol of the pendant on Grindelwald's chest.

Grindelwald rubbed the Deathly Hallows pendant on his chest, "When we were young, Albus and I planned to find the Deathly Hallows and become the Lord of Death, which is why I made it my symbol..."

Listening to his father's meaning, co-authoring this thing is a special symbol to witness the love between the two of them.

Kyle scratched his cheek, why did he accidentally let Grindelwald put a mouthful of dog food?

"We planned to use this power to lead a revolution in the wizarding world, overturn the International Statute of Secrecy, and establish a new global order led by wise and powerful witches and wizards..."

Kyle got out of the bed, "Build a world ruled by wizards?"

He really thinks this is a good idea, but if he is to become a founding emperor, that's fine.

If Grindelwald can join forces with Dumbledore, they will take down the world, and then let him be a crown prince who will eat and die, then he will be quite happy.

The former Demon King Grindelwald's voice was a little lonely, "But in the end, Albus and I broke up, and I was the only promoter of this plan... You know the final result."

Speaking of which, Grindelwald rubbed Kyle's head with disgust, and ripped his meticulous hairstyle into a mess, "These have nothing to do with you, just go to sleep."

Having said that, Grindelwald stood up, turned and left the study.

Kyle, who was still immersed in the crown prince's dream, heard the words and lay back obediently, but suddenly felt that something was wrong.

and many more! Why does he sleep in a crib?

Standing at the door of the study, a smile appeared on Grindelwald's mouth.
