Chapter 74 The Quidditch Match

Facing Kronos' soul questioning, Harry was also silent. Why did I pursue these answers, as if I hadn't stopped during the two years at Hogwarts.

"Harry!" Hermione walked to his side intimately.

Harry shook his head, and then said to Chronos: "If you are not willing to help us, we will use our own methods to find out the truth of the matter."

"Use compound decoction?" Kronos asked in his heart.

Harry's trio left, not forgetting to take the "Standard Spells, Level 2" magic book from the table when they left. Chronos smiled, and soon he couldn't laugh anymore. He was down again to study his four-foot-long thesis.

"How do we prove it?" Harry asked pessimistically on the other side.

"I might have a way," said Hermione slowly, glancing back briefly in the direction of the library, as though Chronos could hear it from such a distance.

"In a month or so, you won't tell us if you're willing to tell us, will you?" Ron said impatiently.

"Okay! It's okay to tell you now." Hermione said calmly: "We need something to help us enter the Slytherin common room."

"That's impossible!" said Harry, and Ron laughed.

"No, it's possible," said Hermione, "we just need some Polyjuice Potion..."

Chronos did not write a four-foot-long paper in the end, and as expected, Snape had a sinister smile on his face when he found out.

"Oh! Our famous Mr. Magister couldn't even finish a simple thesis." Snape taunted Kronos in class.

Kronos blinked, he knew it was useless to say anything at this time. He just listened to Snape's arrangement obediently.

"Let me think about it..." Snape really frowned, "Chronos, how about sending you to detention for a month?"

Kronos raised his head and showed a smile that was uglier than crying. The students around gave Kronos a sympathetic expression, after all, it would not be too uncomfortable to stay with Professor Snape.

Chronos felt that it was okay, after all, he did not miss Professor Snape's locker last semester. It's just that he has a lot to do this semester, so he doesn't have much time!

As soon as he entered Professor Snape's storage room, the long-lost smell hit his face.

"You should know what you should do, right?" Professor Snape said, and glanced at the big bucket of toads in the ground.

"Of course." Kronos smiled wryly, and he immediately put on the dragon leather gloves. Then grab a toad from the barrel and squeeze out its eyes. Toad eyes are also an indispensable raw material in potions.

"Tomorrow is the first Quidditch match of the season, right? Professor Snape." Kronos wanted to distract himself by chatting.

"Hmm..." Professor Snape replied, Chronos didn't know whether he made the sound with his throat or his nostrils.

"The first game is the match between Slytherin and Gryffindor? Are you no longer going to be a match?" Kronos smirked.

He asked this out of disgust. Last semester, Professor Snape was the referee for the Quidditch match. Everyone thought he was trying to favor the Slytherin team, but Kronos knew he was protecting Harry.

"No need." Professor Snape said without looking back, and continued to fiddle with the potion that was bubbling in front of him.

"Damn Tsundere!" Kronos complained in his heart. Then he set his sights on Professor Snape's herbs.

"Professor Snape, you have plenty of herbal medicines here, right?" Kronos seemed to have remembered something, and inadvertently brought the topic here.

Hearing this, Snape finally put down the shaking spoon in his hand. Turning his head and staring at Chronos fiercely, he said, "If you dare to attack my herbs, I will definitely kill you."

Looking at Snape's expression, Chronos had no doubt that he was lying. He hurriedly smiled dryly: "How could that be? Chronos."

"I'm just worried that you might lose some because of negligence. Two-eared grass...Snake skin fragments from African tree snakes or something." Chronos said that they were all important raw materials for Polyjuice Potion, and Snape would not listen come out. After he gave Kronos a weird look, he continued to brew his magic potion again.

Chronos didn't say much, and Snape wasn't an idiot either. He will understand the meaning of Chronos' words. Finally, after Kronos finished disposing of the toads in a big bucket, Professor Snape let him go. Chronos felt dizzy at the thought that he would have to work for Snape as a laborer for the next month.

On Saturday morning, Chronos got up early. More appropriately, being pulled up by Draco, who had his first Quidditch match today. He couldn't be more excited. Draco kept whispering something in Kronos' ear, but Kronos was just too sleepy. He couldn't hear Draco's words at all, only felt a mosquito buzzing in his ear.

Mid-eleven came gradually, and all the teachers and students in the school began to walk to the Quidditch field. It was a sultry and humid day, and there was a muffled thunder in the sky. Kronos walked into the dressing room with Draco, where he saw the rest of the Slytherin team. There are no girls in the Slytherin team. The captain is a man stronger than Wood, his name is Marcus Flint.

After seeing Kronos, they all got up and came to Kronos, as if Kronos was the captain of the Quidditch game.

Kronos was a little embarrassed, he didn't know what to say.

"Ah... oh..." he said, "the Gryffindor team doesn't have as good a broom as yours, and the loss of the House Cup last term didn't please Professor Snape. He'll be watching from the stand today You guys, I hope you work hard and win."

Chronos felt that what he said was not passionate, but the people Slytherin was right with were all as if they had been beaten with chicken blood, and they were arrogant and high-spirited.

To be honest Chronos didn't think the Slytherins could win, even though their broomsticks were better. But a Quidditch team is not a team game at all, and a good Seeker improves the bottom line of the entire team. And the other members of the Gryffindor team are not bad, and they train so hard every day.
