Hogwarts Card Drawer

Chapter 18 Unusual Coins

What is introduced in the book are all the legendary stories of Merlin and King Arthur and some unreal history. Chronos even discovered that some books said that King Arthur and Merlin had that kind of relationship.

Seeing this, Kronos was covered in cold sweat. Why do you feel that legendary wizards have such a habit? Merlin before King Arthur, then Dumbledore and Grindelwald.

After searching for a long time about Merlin's magic and his magic items, there was no explanation. Moreover, in Europe at that time, metal refining technology was not that developed, let alone make this kind of product that looks like "last week".

"Fuck it, it's really an ordinary work of art!" Kronos rubbed his thumb back and forth on the coin.

"Hiss! Damn it!" Kronos' thumb seemed to be pricked by the sword in King Arthur's hand, and Kronos threw the coin on the ground in pain.

"What bad luck!" Kronos put his thumb in his mouth and sucked. "Not only was an afternoon wasted, but I also missed my first Halloween at Hogwarts."

"I hope I can catch the tail of the dinner party!" Kronos picked up the coin on the ground, put it in his pocket and walked towards the restaurant.

The formerly bustling corridors of Hogwarts are now extremely quiet, except for the "slap-tap-tap-tap" of Kronos' shoes on the ground.

Kronos looked up, but there was no one there. Even the ghosts are celebrating the holiday in their own way.

But soon he heard a sound that nearly stopped his heart ______ a shrill, terrified sound. The sound was heard from the bathroom at the front corner.

Kronos quickened his pace, and at the same time pulled out the wand from his waist and I held it in my hand.

Turn the corner!

"What are you doing? Your legs are frozen." Kronos yelled, he was very angry. The scene just now completely overturned his three views.

As soon as he turned the corner, he saw Harry and Ron crossing the door of the women's toilet, and the scream just now was a girl. Kronos didn't expect them to be this kind of people, and he was so angry that he cast a spell on Ron.

"You bunch, despicable, disgusting bedbugs." Kronos became more and more annoyed as he thought about it, pointing his wand at Harry. Harry could see the tip of Chronos' wand glowing brightly.

He hurriedly shook his head and explained, "No, no, no, Chronos isn't like that, it's Hermione, and Hermione is inside?"

"Huh?" Kronos became even more agitated after hearing this, no one can do it for you!

When he saw the jack-o-lantern shining faintly beside him, his pupils shrank suddenly.

"Damn!" A beautiful native dialect came out of Kronos' mouth.

"Alahoo!" Kronos slammed the door open!

Sure enough, the sight was terrifying. It was twelve feet tall, with dull, granite-gray skin, a huge, clumsy body like a giant heap of boulders, with a small head the size of a cocoa bean. Its short legs were thick as tree stumps, and underneath were large, flat, calloused feet. The stench from it was disgusting. It held a thick wooden stick in its hand, and because of its long arms, the wooden stick dragged on the ground.

Hermione Granger crouched against the opposite wall, as if she might faint at any moment. The troll was closing in on her, knocking the pool away from the wall as it went.

"Quickly squat down and faint." These words were obviously redundant, the giant's size completely blocked Hermione, and Chronos couldn't hit Hermione no matter how badly he aimed. But Hermione obediently lowered her body even lower.

The giant's eyelids sank slightly, and he regained consciousness immediately. Unexpectedly, the magic resistance is too high, and Kronos' weak magic power is not enough to knock down the giant.

The giant was clearly enraged by Chronos,

He growled in a low voice. Then he swung the stick at Chronos.

Kronos dodged to the ground, and the coins in his pocket rolled over.

"Cronus!" Harry called.

Chronos didn't respond to him.

"Cronos, pocket."

"I know!" Kronos has no time to talk to him now.

"Pocket, your pocket is on fire," Harry yelled.

"Huh?" Kronos hurriedly looked down, what was on fire. It was a glare that shone through Chronos' wizard robes. Chronos reached out and touched it.

"It's a coin." Kronos thought to himself.

Kronos took out his right hand, and the coin at this moment exuded a strong light, and the light vaguely formed a ring, and the ring was engraved with magic patterns that Kronos could not understand.

But Kronos could clearly feel that it was about to explode.

Kronos instinctively stretched his right hand forward, aiming at the slow-moving giant.

In an instant, the light in Kronos' right hand became bigger, and both Harry and Ron were blinded by the light.

"Bang!" Harry and Ron opened their eyes only after hearing a loud bang.

The giant was gone, only Hermione, who was still weeping, and Chronos, who was panting.

Harry hurried to Kronos' side and asked, "Where's the giant?"

"Isn't that there!" Kronos pouted his lips, and Harry looked in the direction Kronos said, only to see a black ash that could barely make out a figure.

"Go and see Hermione first, I'm just out of touch with the magic power." Chronos said, yes, the moment the coin exploded, Chronos' magic power was emptied.

Chronos has a feeling, if his magic power is not too weak. Coins can explode with greater power.

Suddenly there was a loud banging on the door and loud footsteps, and all four people in the room looked up. They didn't realize how much commotion had happened just now. The people downstairs must have heard the violent collision and the roar of the troll. A moment later, Professor McGonagall burst into the room, followed by Snape, Quirrell last. Quirrell just glanced inside, let out a weak sob, and sat on a toilet bowl, clutching his chest.

Snape bent down to look at Chronos. Chronos saw confusion in Snape's eyes. Professor McGonagall looked at Ron and Harry. Harry had never seen her so angry. Her lips were pale. Any hope of winning fifty points for Gryffindor quickly faded from Harry's mind.

"The spell stops!" Professor McGonagall helped Ron remove the magic first. (He has been locked by Kronos with a mischievous spell, and he is lying on the ground safely!)
