Harry Potter’s Strongest Senior

Chapter 297 Troublemaking Umbridge

Sean didn’t know how to comfort Chris, he said to Cassius.

"I'll have class with you this afternoon."

"Ah, you want to come to class? There is no potions class in the afternoon." Cassius asked doubtfully.

"It doesn't matter what class you take. I'm worried that Umbridge will cause trouble for Chrissy again."

Umbridge is no longer targeting Harry as in the original plot, but seems to be pointing the finger at Chrissy.

Sean is not afraid of offending Umbridge. If she targets Chris in class, Sean will not say anything nice to her.

In the first period of the afternoon, fifth-year Slytherins and Gryffindors had Defense Against the Dark Arts class together, and Umbridge came with Professor Lupin as expected.

"Why is Sean here? Isn't he exempt from class?"

Seeing Sean appear in the classroom, the Slytherin classmates started talking among themselves.

"Sean, do you have anything to do?" Fred stood up and said.

"You are just for fun. You come to class in your free time. You are not here to show off your skills and earn house points for Slytherin, right?" George agreed.

"George, if you had a lot of free time, would you come to class?" Fred asked deliberately.

George shook his head, "Who would be a serious person to do this?"

Strong sacrifice reads sacrifice. Angelina Johnson, as the best student in the Gryffindor class, could compete with Chrissy, but when she saw Sean, the pressure was huge.

At the door of the classroom, Umbridge was holding a notebook and asking Lupine some questions with a smile.

"I've seen your resume. There were some blank periods in the past few years. Can you tell me what you were doing during that time?"

Lupine looked around unnaturally, seemingly not hearing Umbridge's question.

"Gryffindor classmate, please don't put your feet on the table." Lupine tried to change the subject.

"Judging from your resume, it is very average and has no outstanding features. It seems that it is not suitable for the position of Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Is there any other reason why Dumbledore hired you?" Umbridge was reluctant.

The bell for class came from the clock tower. Lu Ping seemed to hear the sound of salvation and breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

"Class is here, class is here, students, please sit down."

Umbridge walked into the classroom and saw Sean there, so she said.

"Sean, it seems that you don't need to take this class. I mean, with your ability, you should learn something more difficult."

"I'm a little curious about the teaching level of the new professor, so I came to take a look." Sean said calmly.

"Really? Professor Lupin, did you hear that? The most talented students in Hogwarts are here to attend your class. You have to behave well," Umbridge said.

It sounds a bit strange for students to come to listen to the professor's class and ask the professor to perform well, but Sean is special at Hogwarts. He does have the ability to judge a professor's teaching level.

If it had been any other new professor, he might have been nervous at this time. An education investigator from the Ministry of Magic and a privileged gifted student at Hogwarts. If these two people attended the class, the result might affect his employment situation.

But Lupine didn't care, Sean was an old acquaintance of his, and Umbridge treated him as if he didn't exist.

"In this class, and in the next few classes, we will learn a repel magic that has significant effects."

"The Falling Apart Curse."

"Professor Lupin, let me interrupt, the Disintegration Curse was not taught at Hogwarts before, right?" Umbridge said.

"Yes, isn't there a curriculum reform now? So we teach some magic that has practical effects." Lu Ping said.

This time Zhang Si. "You know the power of the Disintegration Curse, right? This magic is enough to knock out an adult wizard."

Umbridge still mentioned what she and Fudge were worried about. Students who supported Dumbledore had learned magic to be able to fight. This was a bad development, at least they thought so.

"I know that what we want is the effect of knocking down adult wizards, otherwise how can they protect themselves."

Umbridge frowned.

He said displeasedly, "What to protect? What protection is needed in the school? The Ministry of Magic is enough for the protection work."

Some students may already know that learning practical magic is to protect themselves from Death Eaters, but Lupine did not say it out loud.

Some things were said openly, but their nature changed. Moreover, during the negotiation between Dumbledore and Fudge, Dumbledore promised Fudge that he would not talk about Voldemort in public.

"Minister Fudge also agreed to the curriculum reform. Ms. Umbridge, what do you mean now?" Lupine asked.

"Anyway, this class will be suspended for now. You and I will go to the principal's office."

Sean watched this scene as if he were watching a show, and none of the classmates below dared to say a word.

"I thought Umbridge would make trouble for Chrissy, but I didn't expect Lupine to be attacked first."

"Students, study by yourself first. Sean, please help keep an eye on the classroom discipline." Lu Ping left the classroom after saying a few words.

As soon as Lupine left, the classroom immediately became noisy. The Weasley brothers left their seats and chatted casually with the students around them.

"Thank you." Chrissy, who was sitting at the table in front of Sean, turned around and said softly.

"What? Why do you say thank you suddenly?" Sean asked.

"Cassius told me that you came to class because you were afraid that Umbridge would cause trouble for me."

"You are also lying. Umbridge is targeting you because of your grandfather's relationship."

Chris blinked, as if hesitating, "Actually, my grandfather is planning to retire. "

"Ah, Director Crouch is retiring? When?" Sean asked.

"Next month, before Christmas, he is too tired at the Ministry of Magic. People are gossiping everywhere, and Minister Fudge is also talking about him." Chrissy's face showed a trace of sadness.

Sean knew that Old Barty was a very enterprising person. Such a sudden layoff and retirement showed that he really couldn't stay in the Ministry of Magic anymore. In order to avoid losing his job at the end of the year, Old Barty chose to quit on his own initiative.

"Is there a candidate for the new director of the International Magic Exchange and Cooperation Department?" Sean asked.

"Not yet. Grandpa hasn't officially told the Ministry of Magic yet. He just told me privately." Chris replied.

"Hey, who will be the host of the Triwizard Tournament next school year?" Sean thought to himself.

In the principal's office, Umbridge was having a war of words with Lupine, but how could the taciturn Lupine be the shrew's opponent?

Control the big one and control the owl. "Okay, call Fudge, you can't make the decision, Umbridge." Dumbledore's tone left no room for doubt.

"Dumbledore, you don't need to be angry, we are just discussing education methods." Umbridge said with a smile.

Dumbledore had a tough attitude towards curriculum reform, but Umbridge was now obstructing their teaching. That afternoon, Fudge came to Hogwarts.

In the principal's room, a new curriculum reform plan was finally born with the approval of both parties.
