Harry Potter’s Fantastic Animals Guide

Chapter 165: God will kill me!

"Harry Potter's Illustrated Book of Fantastic Animals (!

"This is really a good proposal," Snape said coldly. "But where did we get another basilisk?"

David turned his gaze to Professor McGonagall.

Professor McGonagall was silent for a moment and said: "There is a basilisk in the school."

A hint of surprise flashed in Snape's eyes, but he quickly found the answer in his mind.

"Mrs. Loris?" Snape asked.

"Hmm." Professor McGonagall nodded slightly.

"Then our problem now becomes, how to make that big guy listen to us."

Snape looked at Hagrid.

Hagrid waved his hand again and again under his gaze, and the corner of Snape's mouth rolled down in dissatisfaction.

"I have a way to control the basilisk." David said.

"You?" Professor McGonagall frowned. It seemed that Dumbledore hadn't told her everything. "The basilisk is not an ordinary magical animal. Many adult wizards can't help it."

"I have some special ways to tame it, it has nothing to do with strength." David explained, "And Harry and I have already seen it, and Professor Dumbledore knows this too."

Professor McGonagall's lips were pressed tightly, and he stared at David for a while, then said in a deep voice, "It seems that you are hiding a lot of things from me."

David immediately lowered his head obediently and said nothing.

The office was silent for a while, and Professor McGonagall said, "How sure are you?"

"One hundred percent." David said immediately.

"I hope you are telling the truth, not being arrogant and ignorant like Harry." Snape said coldly.

Professor McGonagall was taken aback when he heard David's answer: "Are you sure? This is not a trivial matter."

"Of course, I won't make fun of my life." David said.

Professor McGonagall thought for a moment and said, "Well, when are you going? I'll be with you."

"Professor, it is better for me to go alone. If you go, the basilisk will have a sense of crisis, and it will not necessarily listen to me."

David hurriedly declined Professor McGonagall's kindness.

"Is that so?"

Professor McGonagall whispered, pacing back and forth in the office, wondering if she should let David go.

"Or..." Professor McGonagall suddenly stopped and said tentatively, "We will work hard, kill all those spiders."

Professor McGonagall's words calmed the atmosphere in the room.

There was a movement on Snape's face. Although this would be a little harder, he had a lot more material.

"Professor, killing them is not the way to solve the problem." David wiped his forehead, and then said, "According to Professor Dumbledore, the eight-eyed giant spider is probably just the beginning, and there may be other animals in the future. We should find the cause as soon as possible now that the mutation has occurred, otherwise we can't help but slaughter Lin Du."

Hagrid immediately opened his mouth anxiously. The animals in the forbidden forest are all his treasures. If they were killed, he would not be willing.

Professor McGonagall nodded thoughtfully, agreeing with David's statement.

Snape seemed a little disappointed. For him, it would be nothing to kill seven in and out in the forbidden forest. He could be rich for a while. This deal was a good deal!

"Professor, you can agree to my plan, I promise, I will never have anything wrong, no accidents will happen." David persuaded.

Professor McGonagall still can't help but decide, if she is to let her go, her brows won't be frowned, but now it is her students who are going to take the risk...

"Let David go." Professor Flitwick said suddenly, "I have confidence in him, and his current strength is not weak."

Professor Flitwick has been teaching David for a long time alone, so that he has a clearer understanding of David's strength.

David is no weaker than the average adult wizard now.

Professor McGonagall continued to think for half a minute, nodded to Professor Flitwick, turned and said: "When are you going to go? Is there anything we can help you?"

"I need a huge eye mask to cover the eyes of the basilisk. As for time, of course the sooner the better."

David thought for a while and gestured.

Professor McGonagall nodded, and with a flick of his wand, a piece of parchment on the table turned into a thick and large blindfold.

"Is this all right?" Professor McGonagall asked.

David stepped forward and measured it, it should cover the eyes of the basilisk, and he nodded to Professor McGonagall.

"Any other needs?"

"Just in case, it is necessary for professors to confine the students in the dormitory, and the others are gone."

David slowly rolled up the blindfold and held it in his hand.

"Don't worry, some of our deans will stay in the lounge to prevent them from coming out."

Professor McGonagall said with a serious look that if a student dared to make trouble at this juncture, she would never be polite.

"Then I will leave."

David put the blindfold away, turned and walked out the door.

"David, be careful," Hagrid said with red eyes.

"Do not worry."

David patted Hagrid's belly.

As he passed by Snape, he suddenly whispered: "I hope you haven't done anything, I don't want to go to the secret room to collect your body at that time."

After Snape finished speaking, he stuffed a little thing into David's hand.

David opened it and looked at it. It was a small transparent bottle with a few drops of gold-like liquid in it.

"Fortune Potion, drink a drop when you go in." Snape said coldly.

"Thank you, professor."

David put the bottle in the bag.

As if he hadn't heard David's words, Snape lifted his robe with his hands and walked out blankly.

Professor Snape still hasn't changed at all...

David shook his head and walked quickly to the girls' bathroom.

As soon as he entered, Myrtle floated over in surprise.

"David, you haven't come to me for days, what are you up to? Where's Hermione?"

Myrtle wandered and looked back.

"She didn't come, and I didn't come to chat with you today. I need to go to the secret room."

As David spoke, he walked to the side of the pool and found the faucet with the serpentine mark on his own.

"Are you going to find that monster again?"

Myrtle hurriedly backed away, away from David's side, as if the basilisk would come out in the next moment.

"Well, I'll come to chat with you another day."

David stared at the faucet, opening the word as he thought of it, and it turned into a hiss when he passed his throat.

"Have you learned to say the same thing as Harry?"

The curiosity in Myrtle's heart triumphed over fear, she flew to David and wandered around, blinking her eyes.

"Yes." David stepped into the pipe and waved to the gold rusher. "See you!"

David's body descended all the way down the pipe, and because of his experience, he fell to the ground in a more elegant posture.

Stomping in the mire, David walked quickly to the gate entwined with the giant snake.

"turn on."

With the hissing sound, the door opened again, and the dim green light slowly seeped from inside.

David ran to the statue, took a breath and shouted:

"Speak to me, Slytherin-the greatest of the Big Four at Hogwarts."

After a while, Slytherin's mouth opened, and the sound of scales rubbing against the stone wall echoed in the hall.

David took out the blindfold and let the summoned invisible beast stand aside with it.

After the basilisk crawled in front of David, he again made a sound to stop it, and then controlled the invisible beast to put the blindfold on its eyes.

Although the basilisk shook his head uncomfortably, it did not move further to break free of the blindfold.

David breathed a sigh of relief, opened his eyes, calmed the basilisk's emotions softly, and crawled onto its head.

"Get out of the pipe you used to wander about."

David stroked the scales of the basilisk and said.

The basilisk spit out the scarlet letter, capturing the information in the air, and slowly crawling forward.

The little green snake that had been staying in David's bag also climbed onto the head of the basilisk, and his neck stood upright.

After walking a certain distance in the passage outside the gate, the body of the basilisk suddenly went up and climbed up a dry pipe.

Seeing the dense dust and cobwebs, it should have been a long time since it was used.

David took out the map of the spot and tapped his wand: "I solemnly swear that I didn't do a good job."

The lines spread, and a complete map quickly appeared.

After confirming his position above, David made the basilisk turn right and climbed into another pipe.

After coming out of the pipe, David and the others entered a dark, old and dilapidated secret passage.

With the gleam of fluorescent light, David saw many torches on the walls on both sides.

David extinguished the light from the wand and waved it again, as if passing a torch, the torches on both sides lit up one after another.

After they passed, the torch was extinguished again, and the secret path returned to the darkness.

After leaving the secret room, David and the Basilisk had reached the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

The sun has completely set, and the stars and moon have begun to stand up and take over the entire sky.

It's going well...

All that is left is to let the basilisk wander into the cave of the eight-eyed giant spider.

David got up to determine the location, and beckoned the basilisk to climb over.

Perhaps because it hasn't been out for too long, the basilisk crawls extraordinarily cheerfully.

After walking through the forest for a while, two vague shouts suddenly came from in front of him.

There are still people in the forbidden forest?

David frowned and let the basilisk slow down.

"George, hurry up, they are about to catch up!"

"I have reached the limit, these guys are really crazy like David said."

These two people who don't make people worry...

The corners of David's mouth twitched, and the basilisk crawled in the direction of the sound.

"My God, they are catching up." Fred continued to shout.

"I don't know if Mom will come and dig out our bones from the feces of the Eight-Eyed Giant Spider." George followed.

"David said earlier that he will help us clean up, and I don't know if he will recognize our bones by then."

"How about we put a mark on our body!"

"Good idea!" Fred said loudly, "I'm going to carve the bones of Hogwarts prankster Fred Weasley on my bones when they are about to digest me, so that David I won’t admit it!"

"Then you have to hurry up when the time comes, so many words are not easy to engrave."

After making a joke, George shouted: "Fred, be careful!"

His voice was not as relaxed and freehand as he was just now, with panic and anxiety, and it was obvious that Fred was in trouble.

Soon David saw a dazzling spell of light lit up not far in front, and the battle started, which meant that he was both caught up by the eight-eyed giant spider.

He hurriedly let the basilisk speed up the pace.

After the light faded, Fred shouted excitedly.

"Cool! George, your spells really work, they all returned in fear, why didn't you just use it?"

George was a little confused, and he didn't expect that a spell he threw casually would be so powerful, but it did not affect his greed of ink. He said contentedly: "This is a simple spell. Go back, I teach you!"

"Then have you solved the curse of this big guy in front of you?"

Fred ran a few steps, stopped, and tremblingly pointed to the scarlet letter head in front of him.

"No...No..." George's voice trembled, and he quickly turned around and shouted, "Fred, run, here!"

"What happened to the two of us today? When I go back, I must find Professor Trelawney to see my destiny. Someone must have done something to him."

"Then you might as well let me look through the prophecy to show you." George said, "Run faster, this big snake is faster than those spiders!"

"George, Fred, stop running, it's me!"

The moment he met them, David hurriedly stopped the basilisk and shouted.

But the two reacted much faster than him, like rabbits, they ran away in the blink of an eye.

"George, Fred!"

David then shouted.

"I just wanted to hear David's voice?" Fred said.

"You got it wrong? I didn't even hear it." George replied.

"That's probably because I miss him too much. I don't know if this big snake will digest our bones. Do you think David will dislike Fred's poo?"

Fred jumped up and avoided the branches on the ground, and said loudly.

"I believe he will not, at least he will not dislike George poo!" George led the way in front.

David patted his forehead helplessly.

These two guys...

David glanced at the direction they were running, urged the illustration book, and instantly appeared in front of them.

"Here is another one, heaven will kill me!"

George was taken aback and raised his wand tacitly with Fred.

"It's me, David!"

David called out quickly.

"David?" George and Fred kept walking. "Why are you here?"

Just as David was about to reply, George and Fred ran up to him, picked him up one by one, and ran forward quickly.

"It's really not the right time for you to show up. There is a big snake chasing us behind, and there are no more people who collect corpses."

Fred said loudly in David's ear.

Several black lines hung down on David's face and said, "Don't run away, I brought that snake here!"

"what?"

Fred and George stopped in an instant, and followed David's hand loosely, and David almost fell to the ground staggering.

"I heard it right? You called us?" Fred said.

"Of course!" David glared at them. "Didn't you two say that you won't come out?"

Fred's eyes rolled, and he immediately said: "We got lost on the way back to the dormitory and ran here by accident."

I believe you a ghost!

David sighed and said, "Okay, come with me, and take you back later."

"Why did you bring that big snake?"

George panted and followed David.

"It's called the Basilisk~www.wuxiaspot.com~ and it's the nemesis of the big spiders who chase you."

George blinked, and then a little disappointed: "Then the spider was afraid of my curse just now?"

"If you were Professor Dumbledore, they might be a little scared." David said.

"Don't be discouraged, George, you see David has compared you with Professor Dumbledore. It's pretty good."

Fred directly misinterpreted David's meaning on the side.

David didn't want to explain, so let these two optimists go happy.....
