Harry Potter and Master of Magic

Chapter 9 Beauxbatons and Durmstrang

As October 30th got closer, there were more and more voices talking about the Triwizard Tournament in the castle.

Everyone was discussing who was most likely to win the Goblet of Fire, and Zhang Hao felt it was ridiculous—these kids knew nothing about their opponents, predicting who would be the champion under such circumstances... really outrageous!

"Hey! Who do you think will win the Goblet of Fire?"

"I guess it must be Zhang Hao in the fourth grade. He has such strong magic power. Who will be his opponent?"

"Him? Don't be stupid, okay? He's still seventeen years old this year! He won't be able to compete at all!"

"This is not necessarily the case, I guess there is something inside this year!"

"Hey? What's the inside story? Let's talk about it and study it together?"

"The inside story is... It is said that it is related to the Daybreak organization, but I don't know the specifics."

"Cut! Why are all the mysterious things being blamed on the Dawn organization?"

Zhang Hao was speechless after hearing these gossips, wouldn't it be good to study hard and improve every day? Why should you care about things that have nothing to do with you?

On October 30th, they had breakfast and found that the auditorium had been completely new overnight.

Huge silk banners were scraped on the walls, each representing a Hogwarts house: Gryffindor on red with a golden lion, Slytherin on green with a silver boa constrictor, blue with a The one with the bronze eagle is Ravenclaw, and the one with the yellow background and a black badger is Hufflepuff.

Behind the staff desks hangs the largest banner with the Hogwarts crest: snakes, eagles, lions and badgers joined together, surrounded by a large letter H.

"Today is really grand!" Draco said with his lips curled up, "I've never seen them decorate the castle so seriously before."

Zhang Hao laughed and said, "You always have to be more solemn when welcoming guests. Why are you jealous?"

Draco frowned and said, "Who is jealous? I'm just expressing my dissatisfaction!"

"Then why are you dissatisfied?" Zhang Hao sneered, "It's not because you are jealous."

Draco was speechless and could only snort coldly.

Zhang Hao was suspicious in his heart, why is this kid getting more and more jealous? It used to be just a little lemon, but now it can almost be called lemon essence, right?

Throughout the day, almost no one at Hogwarts could concentrate on their classes.

Everyone thought Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were coming tonight, and they all wanted to see and see.

This was the first time that most people had contact with students from other magic schools, and it was inevitable that they would be a little excited.

Even Zhang Hao felt an inexplicable sense of anticipation in his heart.

After the second get out of class in the afternoon, everyone got on the cloaks as instructed, and then came to the hall swiftly.

The deans of the college are ordering their own students to line up, and colleagues are ordering some trivial things.

Zhang Hao heard Professor McGonagall nagging from Gryffindor all the way, and she tried her best to tell everyone not to embarrass Gryffindor.

"Weasley! Put your hat on straight!"

"Miss Patil, take that ridiculous thing off my head!"

"Mr. Potter, what is on your face? Is it medicine residue? Wipe it off quickly!"

"Everyone follow me, the first graders are in front... don't be crowded..."

Professor Flitwick and Professor Sprout were doing the same thing, only Snape just stood aside with folded arms - the Slytherins had done everything obediently.

From this point of view, Snape's teaching standard is still very good, at least the discipline of Slytherin is better than that of the other three houses.

After everyone was ready, they filed down the steps and stood in front of the castle.

The air is very cold, but everyone is very enthusiastic.

Night was falling, and a white, translucent moon was already hanging over the Forbidden Forest.

Many people were talking, and they were wildly speculating about the manner in which Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would show up.

"I guess they'll come on broomsticks, that's the quickest way."

"No! Did you forget to Apparate? That's the fastest way!"

"Perhaps the portkey,

It's more convenient that way, isn't it? "

"Oh! Have you forgotten? Apparition is not allowed here in the castle, at least not in front of the castle gate."

At this time, Dumbledore suddenly said loudly: "Ah! If I'm not mistaken, Beauxbaton's representative has arrived!"

"Where is it? Where is Beauxbatons?"

Many people turned their necks to look around, but there were no strangers around.

A sixth-grade student suddenly shouted: "Over there! Look at the sky!"

He pointed to the sky above the Forbidden Forest, his expression extremely excited.

Everyone looked in the direction he pointed, and were shocked!

A gigantic creature, something the size of a house, was racing across the dark blue sky toward Contractor Ferry.

It's getting bigger and bigger, and soon everyone knows what it is!

It was a huge powder blue carriage, it was literally the size of a house!

It was drawn into the air by twelve winged horses, silver-maned horses, each as big as an elephant.

The carriage flew lower and lower, and was landing at an extremely fast speed.

This seemed to be an understatement, Beauxbaton's carriage didn't have any scruples at all, it rushed straight towards the crowd that greeted it.

The students standing in front quickly retreated, and many stampede accidents occurred under the crowd.

It's such a pity that many people on Slytherin's side have been stepped on their feet!

Finally, the carriage stopped.

Zhang Hao saw a crest printed on the car door - two golden crossed wands, with three stars emerging from each.

The door opened, and a boy in a light blue robe jumped out of the car. He bent down and fumbled for something on the floor of the carriage, and then opened a golden spiral staircase...

Then, a big foot stepped on the spiral staircase, and then a tall giantess appeared.

She was huge, even more exaggerated than Hagrid.

Zhang Hao knew that this was Beauxbaton's principal—Ms. Maxim.

People got off the carriage one after another. These people were men and women, and they were all Beauxbaton's students.

Dumbledore was the first to applaud, followed by all the teachers and students of Hogwarts.

Then, there was a fruitless exchange of pleasantries between the principals of the two parties.

The students, while looking at Beauxbaton's students curiously, endured the severe cold and waited for Durmstrang's people.

After a while, there was a loud noise on the lake.

The calm water surface began to spin, and soon formed a huge whirlpool.

A long black pole slowly rises from the center of the vortex—this is a mast!

Slowly, the lower part of the mast also surfaced.

It was a magnificent, huge, shining monster ship.

It looks really strange, like a skeleton... like the remains of a shipwreck that was just salvaged.

In the eyes of Muggles, it is a ghost ship through and through.

Snapped!

The ghost ship slowly approached the shore, and when it could no longer approach, a long wooden board suddenly protruded from it and slapped the shore.

Durmstrang's students began to land along the plank.

Dumbledore greeted their headmaster as usual, and the greeting ended there.

Next, it's time for the dinner party!
