Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 9 On the Train

After leaving Borkin-Bock’s Magic Shop, Ulysses had no interest in shopping anymore.

I bought all the things I needed to buy, and there were some surprises, and the trip was quite successful.

Randomly went to Diagon Alley and found a shop to borrow the fireplace. With a flash of green fire, his figure appeared in the residence of the Lestrange family.

Ulysses lay on the sofa, took out the two black notebooks of the old witch, and flipped through them.

Every time he turned a page, his brows frowned. After reading the first notebook, his aversion to this thing had reached its peak. As soon as the wand was drawn, the flames in the fireplace ran out and swallowed the notebook.

This is the diary of the old witch. It records the data of the magic pattern engraved on the human body. Behind the cold number symbols are a series of lively lives.

Not only that, but the diary also revealed an organization that Ulysses had never heard of-"Abyss". The symbol of the members was the swirl pattern. As for more specific information, Ulysses did not see a word.

Ulysses sighed in a complicated mood and opened the second notebook. This book is relatively normal, and records some of the inscription methods and precautions of the primary magic pattern, which can be regarded as a detailed novice tutorial.

Ulysses thought for a while, and did not choose to destroy it, but kept it.

He walked into the study room and patrolled the diverse collection of books on the shelves. After excluding most of the magic books, his gaze fell on a book of "The Secret of Cutting-edge Black Magic".

When he touched the book with his finger, a transparent face mask on the cover made of human skin roared towards Ulysses, but it shattered when he was about to touch him.

Ulysses didn't have the mind to deal with this kind of alternative "welcome ceremony". He hurriedly opened the book and scanned it quickly, but his eyes were like a sophisticated machine, accurately capturing the keywords he wanted to see.

Finally, when the book was about to reach the bottom of the page, Ulysses raised his brows, fixed his gaze on a certain page, and saw the words "ghost ring".

"Regarding the magical item of the ghost ring, most opinions are that it is made by the soul of the deceased through some cruel means, so it has the function of restraining ghost creatures, and it also has a miraculous effect in the face of certain spiritual bodies. "

In just a few sentences, Ulysses read it for a long time, then slowly closed the book and stuffed it into the shelf. I barely figured out the general function of this ring. Although it may not be of much use now, it is certain that this thing is very valuable.

After all, nothing simple is linked to the concept of soul.

Ulysses put the ring on the table, took out the pocket watch from his arms, and stared quietly. His new pet O'ao stood at the window, making a "cuckoo" cry, then spread his wings and flew over his shoulder, motionless.

...

On the morning of September 1, Ulysses appeared in front of a crimson train spewing steam.

Thick smoke wafted over the chirping crowd, and cats of various colors burrowed under people's feet. There were rows of fireplaces not far away, with green flames spewing from time to time, and then a wizard suddenly appeared from the fireplace.

It seems that the wall at Kings Cross Station is not the only entrance. Ulysses thought to himself, but it made sense. If everyone came in through that wall, it would be hard not to be spotted.

Ulysses carried the owl cage onto the train.

In the ears were the excited conversations of the students. After a summer vacation, they had too many anecdotes that they wanted to share with their friends, so the car was very noisy.

Almost all the carriages were filled with students, and Ulysses walked backwards all the way, and when he reached the end of the train, he finally saw an empty carriage.

With a wave of Ulysses' wand, the suitcase slowly floated on the iron frame, the owl cage opened automatically, and O'ao flew out and circled in the car a few times excitedly, showing an energetic look.

Ulysses didn't care about his own pets. He pulled out a book, adjusted a comfortable posture, squinted and began to read.

The more you come into contact with the magical world, the more you will discover the boundlessness of magic and the insignificance of yourself. Although he has been in contact with the magical world for six years since he was eight years old, and his strength has been impressive, he will continue to explore the wonderful scenery on the way forward.

However, not long after it was quiet, the voices of several girls sounded outside the carriage:

"Thanks to Merlin, I finally found a carriage with few people."

"Great. But are Ron and Harry the hell? Why haven't they been on the train yet?"

"Go in first. Luna, keep up."

Ulysses was slightly stunned. The door of the carriage had been opened. Ginny Weasley came in with a suitcase as high as hers, and said:

"Mind if we are in the same carriage as you... is it you?"

Behind her, the brown-haired Hermione Granger was looking toward the corridor. After hearing Ginny's surprised tone, she looked back and saw that the expression on her face after seeing Ulysses was as wonderful as Ginny.

"come in."

Ulysses nodded. Ginny was at a loss for a while and was in a dilemma.

"Go in, Ginny?"

Behind Ginny and Hermione, a clear and ethereal voice sounded.

The owner of the voice has long pale blond hair, very light eyebrows, and slightly convex eyeballs, which makes her look as if she always has a surprised expression. She wears a grandiose toad glasses on her face, which clearly exudes a kind of weirdness. Temperament.

Ginny hesitated, stepped into the carriage, and came to the opposite side of Ulysses. Her slender arms tried to lift her suitcase, but Own's face became the same color as her hair.

Seeing her wishing to use all the strength of the milk feeding, Ulysses looked amused, and whispered the Levitation Curse softly, and all three suitcases floated on the iron frame.

Ginny quietly breathed a sigh of relief and said to Ulysses:

"thanks."

If he remembers correctly, this is the second time she has thanked this person.

Ulysses nodded slightly. He felt the familiar magic wave in Ginny's suitcase, which was the mark he left on Ginny's book last time.

After confirming that the mark was still there, Ulysses smiled, but secretly complained. Sure enough, the dark wizard is not a serious person, Voldemort and the old witch both have the habit of writing diaries.

Who writes a diary for a serious person?

Hermione and Luna Lovegood sat down next to Ginny. The three of them were small and not crowded.

After Ginny thanked Hermione, they looked at each other. They were still lively outside the car and didn't know what to say for a while. Luna blinked her big eyes, looking through the thick lenses, looking at Ulysses curiously.

After a moment of silence, Hermione hesitated and said:

"What happened last time... Neville is not a bad person, he just misunderstood you a little... I will apologize to you again for him."

"No need."

Ulysses turned the book over a page and said lazily, "That incident has passed."
